(ENG/SPA) Lovely Complex: She is very tall and He is very short Romantic Review
I was happily strolling through the community and I read a question about if we had seen any anime with light narrative, that did not have so many deep philosophical conflicts or battles with super powers, after reading that question my mind opened the trunk of memories of the 2000s and revealed to me a memory as light and ephemeral as the narrative of that story I saw.
Lovely Complex is a teenage romance anime with conflicts that anyone can have had in their life when they are in that stage where we wonder when we will have that partner that complements us, the famous butterflies in the stomach and the nerves that do not let us talk to that person we like, we have all gone through that to a greater or lesser extent and that is the core of this story between Koizumi Risa and Ootani Atsushi the protagonists of this anime.
Estaba felizmente paseando por la comunidad y leí una pregunta sobre si habíamos visto algún anime con narrativa ligera, que no tuviera tantos conflictos filosóficos profundos o de Batallas con súper poderes, luego de leer esa pregunta mi mente abrió el baúl de los recuerdos de la década de los 2000 y me revelo un recuerdo tan ligero y efímero como la narrativa de esa historia que vi.
Lovely Complex es un anime de romance adolescente con conflictos que cualquiera puede haber tenido en su vida cuando se esta en esa etapa en la que nos preguntamos cuando tendremos esa pareja que nos complemente, las famosas mariposas en el estomago y los nervios que no nos dejan hablar con esa persona que nos agrada, todos hemos pasado por eso en mayor o en menor grado y eso es el núcleo de esta historia entre Koizumi Risa y Ootani Atsushi los protagonistas de este anime.
- Complexes are not a barrier
People are all different both in personality and physically, by nature and instinct there are some standards that we can assimilate as attractive and these I notice have been negatively contaminated by the commercial part, media, etc. but regardless of the above I think it is above the personality, that is, when you overcome that stage of the first physical impression and you know what makes a person happy and it turns out that this engages you, are things that connect people for the rest of life.
In the youtube video that I leave as a very small sample of what you will find in the anime, you can also observe the thought that I raised, The Man by nature is taller than the Woman and that falls within the standard of what is socially accepted for a couple relationship but in Lovely Complex is the other way around the situation, she is much taller than him and in both characters is present that discomfort that generates a light comic conflict but it is not a barrier when finding love because the charm of personalities overcomes everything.
Just look at the thumbnail of this post, being happy and cheerful with that person who complements you with affection is the best thing that can happen to us.
- Los Complejos no son una Barrera
Las personas todos somos distintos tanto en personalidad como físicamente, por naturaleza e instinto hay unos estándares que podemos asimilar como atractivos y estos noto han sido contaminados negativamente por la parte comercial, medios, etc pero independientemente de lo anterior pienso que esta por encima la personalidad, es decir, cuando se supera esa etapa de la primera impresión física y conoces lo que hace alegre a una persona y resulta que eso engrana contigo, son cosas que conectan a las personas por el resto de la vida.
En el video de youtube que dejo como una muy pequeña muestra de lo que encontraran en el anime, pueden observar también el pensamiento que plantee, El Hombre por naturaleza es mas alto que la Mujer y eso entra dentro del estándar de lo aceptado socialmente para una relación de pareja pero en Lovely Complex es al revés la situación, ella es mucho mas alta que él y en ambos personajes esta presente esa incomodidad que genera un conflicto cómico ligero pero no es una barrera al momento de encontrar el amor porque el encanto de las personalidades lo supera todo.
Solo vean la miniatura de este post, el ser feliz y estar alegre junto a esa persona que con cariño te complementa es lo mejor que nos puede pasar.
- A very comical story
The other point in favor of this anime, besides the fact that Koizumi Risa is very tall and Ootani Atsushi is very short, is that both of them are very funny, but she is much more so.
Koizumi Risa is definitely the soul of this anime, she takes the story to another level with her feelings, her joy and her charismatic personality which at least in the women that I have known in my life is not very common, generally they are there to make them laugh and laugh at everything but it is uncommon to get women who are funny and make me laugh, at least from my point of view it has been like that and I even consider them exotic those who have that kind of personality and are the ones I like the most haha.
Maybe that's why I see her as the main focus of attention in this story and what made me watch her until the end because she is also very expressive in her feelings despite her great height of more than 1.80 she ends up being a very fragile character who has a complex because of her height that does not allow her to relate easily on an emotional level.
- Una Historia muy Cómica
El otro punto a favor que tiene este anime además de plantear como elemento llamativo el que Koizumi Risa sea muy alta y Ootani Atsushi muy bajito es que ambos son muy cómicos pero mucho mas ella.
Koizumi Risa definitivamente es el alma de este anime, lleva la historia a otro nivel con sus sentimientos, con su alegría y con su personalidad carismática la cual al menos en las mujeres que yo he conocido en mi vida no es muy común, generalmente están para que las hagan reír y se ríen de todo pero es poco común conseguir mujeres que sean graciosas y me hagan reír, al menos desde mi punto de vista ha sido así y hasta las considero exóticas las que tienen ese tipo de personalidad y son las que me gustan mas jaja.
Tal vez por eso la veo a ella como el foco de mayor atención en esta historia y lo que me hizo verla hasta el final porque además es muy expresiva en sus sentimientos a pesar de su gran altura de mas de 1.80 ella termina siendo un personaje muy frágil que tiene su complejo por la altura que no le permite relacionarse fácilmente a un nivel emocional.
The rest of the characters are there to decorate the main characters, don't expect much from them haha, one or another funny situation but I didn't perceive much from them.
A fairly simple and light story with that very striking touch that she is very tall and he is very short, you will enjoy good comic scenes and a good opening, the latter I want to emphasize because although it is not a very famous opening, in my case if I liked it and such elements are important.
A story that I recommend to get out of the comfort zone in which many of us are watching battles with swords and powers between humans and demons haha, it is a light recommendation to enjoy a weekend, enjoy life and love.
El resto de personajes están para adornar a los protagonistas, no esperen mucho de ellos jaja, una que otra situación cómica pero no percibí mucho de ellos.
Una historia bastante simple y ligera con ese toque muy llamativo de que ella es muy alta y el muy bajito, disfrutaras de buenas escenas cómicas y un buen opening, esto último lo quiero destacar porque aunque no es un opening muy famoso, en mi caso si que me agrado y ese tipo de elementos son importantes.
Una historia que recomiendo para salir de la zona de confort en la que muchos estamos viendo batallas con espadas y poderes entre humanos y demonios jaja, es una recomendación ligera para disfrutar un fin de semana, disfruten de la vida y del amor.

No he visto Lovely Complex, pero suena como un anime muy divertido y ligero, perfecto para desconectar de historias más intensas. Me encanta la idea de que la protagonista sea alta y el chico bajo, ¡es un giro interesante en las normas de las relaciones! Si y tiene un toque cómico que si esta bien hecho sobre todo en la protagonista, ella me encanto mucho y es lo que me hizo quedarme viendo el anime, ella es el anime jaja porque el resto de personajes no es que fuesen mis favoritos jaja, anime entretenido de ver con su drama ligero y los rasgos de altura que son llamativos para una historia 😃
