I didn't really like the first Dune movie even though Villeneuve really did a good job at the visuals and sitting in the theater at the end I remember thinking 'I will skip on the 2nd movie' which I ended up doing even though I see everywhere that it's better. At the same time seeing you give the first one a 6.5 and the 2nd an 8 I am kind of getting tempted.

I would say give it a go if you don't have anything else to watch. Btw if you have read the books, it's way different!
I'm not much of a reader so I haven't read the books. I guess I put it somewhere at the bottom of my backlog and watch it if a day comes when I feel like it.
