RE: MOVIE REVIEW: “Nosferatu” (2024)

It is not difficult to see how much Eggers overvalues the technical aspects of his movies (and here, the graphic violence is even more “poetic” and aligned with the grotesque figure of Orlok himself), but I think he needs to dedicate a little more time to deepening the plots he directs in order to have more relevance.

100% agree with you on this, I went to watch it a week ago and mainly was impressed by the excellent cinematography with just all shots and frames being near picture perfect. The plot itself had me wondering off and I was actually happy to see the end credit.
