Cheers to all the fans of good movies and series from #MoviesAndTVShows. Today I'm sharing with you my opinion about a film that I read a couple of good reviews about here in the Community, so I wanted to give it a chance. Today I'll be telling you about:Role Play. As always, I warn you that my post does not contain Spoiler.

  I must say that this movie had its own thing, it is a film that I found quite entertaining and to pass the time watching something different with touches of humor and lots of action. I recently decided to give a chance to this movie that you can enjoy on the Prime Video platform and the truth is that I was expecting the plot to revolve around the theme of romance, True Lies style but it was not the case.

  I started watching the film without many expectations in mind, just another movie and I was pleasantly surprised to see actress Kaley Cuoco playing a different role than the one I'm used to seeing her in.

  This woman is extremely expressive with her face, especially with her gaze and it was one of the things that I most enjoyed seeing throughout the film, everything she transmitted with her eyes and how she kept her face so serious in certain scenes, that for me was spectacular to see.

  I also really liked the action scenes there were, the fights, the shooting and the plot itself, everything was good up to a point, as the movie can be said to become predictable at some point and in turn changes course different from what could have been a good action movie.

  The movie started very well, with hints of naughtiness, suspense, mystery, and some homey romance, it was all very cute, and the transition from there to action scenes was fine, but I was left wanting to see more of that plot and intrigue. I was left wanting to see more of the mighty Kaley Cuoco as the assassin.

  The film tells the classic cliché story of the well-paid hitman who, after achieving a "normal" life with a family, wants to get out of the assassins' plot to lead a quiet life. And that kind of plot is well done if you know how to carry the story from beginning to end.

  On the other hand, I can't deny the extra performances by Bill Nighy, who I liked how he worked at the beginning, although his appearance was brief he did a great job and it was another surprise for me to see him working in this movie.

  Although these actors gave good performances, I think I must emphasize that the director Thomas Vincent did not do a good job, I can affirm that at one point the film became somewhat bland, boring and predictable and wanting to finish watching it only for the performance given by an actor of the category as Couco is not funny, since as I said in the beginning, this film had the potential to be a good action and suspense film.

  For leaving a few holes in the air, for the script that went into decline at a certain point, for the few action and fight scenes that could have been more and better, but mostly for watching the impeccable performance given by Kaley Cuoco and which I enjoyed, as well as that of Bill Nighy, this film would say that it only serves to entertain.

  That is, it is a film that can be categorized as stereotypical of a person who leads a double life, her partner discovers her and things begin to happen where we already know how they will end.

  I insist that thanks to Kaley and her performance in this film, which allows me to see her in a different way now and not only as a comedian, I give it a score of 🌟🌟🌟 out of 5 Little Gold Stars, and from my side I recommend it and don't recommend it, that is, only if you are in the mood to see something entertaining like the Jason Statham movies or the Fast and Furious movies (which already became a cliché), then there yes, give the film a chance.

  Un saludín a los fans de buenas películas y series de #MoviesAndTVShows. Hoy les comparto mi opinión sobre un film del cual leí un par de buenas críticas aquí en la Comunidad, por lo que quise darle una oportunidad. Hoy les hablaré de: Role Play. Como siempre, les aviso que mi post no contiene Spoiler.

  Debo decir que esta película tuvo lo suyo, es un film que me resultó bastante entretenido y para pasar el rato viendo algo diferente con toques de humor y mucha acción. Hace poco decidí darle una oportunidad a esta película que puedes disfrutar en la plataforma de Prime Video y la verdad es que esperaba que la trama girara alrededor del tema de romance, estilo Mentiras Verdaderas pero no fue el caso.

  Empecé a ver el film sin muchas expectativas en mente, sólo una película más y me llevé una sorpresa muy grata ver a la actriz Kaley Cuoco interpretando un role totalmente diferente al cual estoy acostumbrada verla.

  Esta mujer es sumamente expresiva con su rostro, sobre todo con su mirada y fue una de las cosas que más me gustó ver a lo largo de la película, todo lo que transmitía con los ojos y cómo mantenía tan serio su rostro en ciertas escenas, eso para mí fue espectacular de ver.

  También me gustaron mucho las escenas de acción que hubo, las peleas, los disparos y la trama en sí, todo fue bueno hasta cierto punto, ya que la película se puede decir que se vuelve predecible en algún momento y a su vez cambia de rumbo diferente a lo que pudo ser una buena película de acción.

  La película empezó muy bien, con toques de picardía, suspenso, misterio, algo de romance hogareño, todo muy lindo y la transición de allí a escenas de acción estuvieron bien, pero quedé con ganas de ver más de esa trama y esa intriga. Quedé con ganas de ver más de la poderosa Kaley Cuoco como asesina.

  Y es que la película cuenta la historia cliché clásica del sicario bien pagado que tras conseguir una vida "normal" con una familia, quiere salirse del complot de asesinos para llevar una vida tranquila. Y ese tipo de tramas están bien hechas si se sabe cómo llevar la historia de principio a fin.

  Por otro lado, no puedo negar las actuaciones extras por parte de Bill Nighy, quien me gustó cómo trabajó al inicio, aunque su aparición fue breve hizo un gran trabajo y fue otra sorpresa para mí verlo trabajar en esta película.

  A pesar de buenas actuaciones de estos actores, me parece que debo recalcar que el director Thomas Vincent no hizo un buen trabajo, puedo afirmar que en un punto la película se volvió algo sosa, aburrida y predecible y querer terminar de verla sólo por la actuación que brinda un actor de la categoría como Couco no tiene gracia, ya que como dije en un principio, esta película tenía potencial para ser un buen film de acción y suspenso.

  Por dejar unos cuantos huecos en el aire, por el guión que se fue a declive en cierto punto, por las pocas escenas de acción y pelea que pudieron ser más y mejores, pero sobre todo por ver la actuación impecable que brindó Kaley Cuoco y la cual disfruté mucho, al igual que la de Bill Nighy, este film diría que sólo sirve para entretener.

  Es decir, es un film que se puede catalogar como estereotípico de una persona que lleva una doble vida, su pareja la descubre y empiezan a ocurrir cosas donde ya sabemos cómo van a acabar.

  Insisto que gracias a Kaley y su actuación en esta película, que me permite verla de manera diferente ahora y no sólo como comediante, le doy una puntuación de 🌟🌟🌟 de 5 Estrellitas Doradas, y de mi parte la recomiendo y no la recomiendo, es decir, sólo si estas de humor para ver algo entretenido como las películas de Jason Statham o las de Rápido y Furioso (que ya se volvieron un cliché), entonces allí sí, dale una oportunidad al film.
