Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros cerradores del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, me gusta el anime aunque últimamente he visto exclusivamente del estudio Ghibli, es por ello que decidí darle una oportunidad a algo creado por otro estudio y fue la imagen de “Suzume” la que llamo mi atención y por la cual no pude resistirme a ver. Sin más que agregar prepárense para cerrar puertas pues estamos por comenzar.
Suzume was released in 2022, directed by Makoto Shinkai and produced by CoMix Wave Films, it has a duration of 2 hours and 2 minutes. It is a fantasy and romance animation, the story focuses on Suzume, a 17 year old student who is an orphan of a mother so she grew up with her aunt. She lives a quiet life in a small town. Es una animación de fantasía y romance, la historia se centra en Suzume una estudiante de 17 años que es huérfana de madre por lo que se crio con su tía, vive una vida tranquila en un pequeño pueblo, un día dicha monotonía es rota debido a que se encuentra con un joven atractivo que se encontraba buscando una puerta ubicada en una zona abandonada del vecindario, presa de la curiosidad la joven se dirige al sitio y lo que encuentra allí le cambiará la vida para siempre.

No obstante, considero que este tema a nivel ambiental le faltó algo, pudo haber dado un poco más de juego con diversos datos o elementos que ampliasen este tema. La escenografía es exquisita debido a sus escenarios alucinantes, y, como mencioné previamente, en más de una ocasión considere usar alguno de estos como fondo de pantalla debido a lo hermosos que son.
The plot is very entertaining because it pleasantly mixes both fantasy and romance, giving it some interest and captivating the viewer's attention. Although the elements are developed in a decent way, they have some shortcomings. In the case of fantasy, it feels explained. in a slightly crude way and the romance is fine although it is not the best that can be imagined, they are not elements that ruin the film but they could have improved and taken the film to something further.
La trama resulta muy entretenida debido a que mezcla de forma agradable tanto la fantasía como el romance dándole cierto interés y cautivando la atención del espectador, si bien los elementos se desarrollan de forma decente tienen algunas carencias, en el caso de la fantasía se siente explicada de forma un poco tosca y el romance está bien aunque tampoco es el mejor que se puede imaginar, no son elementos que arruinen al filme pero sí pudieron haber mejorado y llevarla el filme a algo más allá.

The film lasts two hours, for its premise it does not seem exaggerated to me, however, I do consider that it used its time inappropriately since in many cases situations are repeated without there really being much progress within the narrative and could have used said time to further expand its world or to better characterize its characters, but I will return to the latter later.
Narrativamente el firme está bien tiene un ritmo progresivo en el cual se van contando los diferentes elementos que componen su mundo, sin embargo, como mencioné antes, peca en ocasiones de no explicarse de forma clara lo que hace que sea fácil no entender algunos temas, esto mismo sucede con algunas revelaciones las cuales si bien causan algo de interés cuando son develadas estas son incorporadas muy tarde, habiendo sido más lógico explicarlas desde el principio para que se pudiese entender de mejor forma, sus giros argumentales son un acierto en algunos momentos y en otros son sencillamente incongruente, su final se une a este último al carecer de concordancia con lo que se expuso previamente. El filme dura dos horas, para la premisa que tiene no me parece exagerada, sin embargo, sí considero que utilizó su tiempo de forma inadecuada puesto que en muchos casos se repiten situaciones sin que realmente haya mucho avance dentro de la narrativa pudiendo haber utilizado dicho tiempo para ampliar más su mundo o para caracterizar mejor a sus personajes, pero esto último lo retomaré más adelante.

Unfortunately, his co-star does not enjoy the same development, he feels flat, boring and like a secondary character, since he has almost the same amount of time as the protagonist, there is no valid excuse for his precarious development, which only focuses on giving some details of This, this lack of personality also affects the romance that arises between them because it does not have that level of exploration that makes it decent and that allows you to feel that what you are creating between them is worth it. He's even funny as other supporting characters like Tamaki who has less screen time possess more depth and complexity; The rest of the characters are just there, I liked the way they built the antagonist although the twist they give at the end is somewhat incongruous.
Suzume es una protagonista fantástica, tiene cierto grado de tridimensionalidad debido a que se le conocen sus ambiciones, deseos y miedos, estos son profundizados a lo largo del filme lo que hace que sea muy sencillo encariñarte con ella por el hecho de tener diferentes tipos de problemas y aspiraciones, es sin lugar a dudas una estrellas de rock. Desgraciadamente su coprotagonista no goza del mismo desarrollo, se siente plano, aburrido y como un personaje secundario, siendo que tiene casi la misma cantidad de tiempo que la protagonista no hay una excusa válida para su precario desarrollo que solo se centra en dar algunos detalles de este, esta carencia de personalidad también afecta el romance que va surgiendo entre ellos debido a que no tiene ese nivel de exploración que lo haga decente y que permita sentir que vale la pena lo que estás naciendo entre ellos. Es incluso gracioso como otros personajes secundarios como Tamaki que tiene menos tiempo en pantalla posee más profundidad y complejidad; el resto de personajes solo está ahí, me gustó la forma en que construyeron el antagonista aunque el giro que le den al final resulta algo incongruente.

It is for all the above that it deserves 3.5 stars out of 7, it has several errors that are not so serious as to overshadow the very good successes it has, which is why it is quite entertaining and enjoyable, says someone who is not a lover of romantic things.
Suzume es una animación muy hermosa que te cautiva con sus diferentes escenarios alucinantes y con una banda sonora no menos que excelente, esto está sazonado con una protagonista sumamente interesante con diversos problemas que le hacen sentir verdaderamente viva y con la cual tranquilamente puedes empatizar producto de sus diferentes males que cualquier persona podría padecer, desgraciadamente tiene sus desaciertos como el hecho de no desarrollar de la forma correcta su fantasía y el hecho de tener un coprotagonista que es muy olvidable que solo está presente para hacer avanzar la trama y que verdaderamente no tiene el mismo nivel de exploración que su compañera. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3.5 estrellas de 7, tiene varios errores que no son tan graves como para opacar los aciertos tan buenos que tiene por lo que resulta bastante entretenida y disfrutable, lo dice alguien que no es amante de las cosas románticas.

Hola... justo el comenzando el año vi esta pelicula que tenia mucho tiempo esperando, ya que se extreno primero en japon (por obvias razones) y fue como 3 o 4 meses despues que salio al resto del mundo.
La calidad de la animación si es un 10/10, la historia romántica, es como dices, falto un mejor desarrollo para sentir que había química entre ellos, por màs que sea por simple sentimiento de deuda, tanto por ella como por él, del resto, se me hizo una muy bonita pelicula.
