What do you think about the Kingdom without Limit? Królestwo Bez Kresu!

Not much, I bet. But you should. Everyone should. Because it truly is a special, very special place. A place that brings so much together and, in a poetic fashion, breaks limits. A place fully utilising the HIVE blockchain and the only physical location I know that does it.

And now, the venue for the first HiveBeeCon!

Is this all fancy talk? No.

My first ever contact with the KBK is something I still consider sweet and sour. Sweet because of my experience there and sour because of the circumstances I had to be introduced to them.

It all started when I was at rock bottom. After fleeing from Ukraine, I decided to stay in Poland. I had fled taking very little wirh me, including the bare minimum in cash that I could pull out from the ATMs in Kharkov.

I jumped from hostel to hotel to hostel, looking for shelter, living it day by day. Running around the massive Warsaw city looking for help, getting paperwork sorted, and sustinence. This is when my Ukrainian bank account was frozen. I had run out of money. Distraught, lost, and eventually.....homeless. I started staying at the train station thinking

There were some HIVE'rs who were helping me from behind the scenes. @guiltyparties, @gtg, @erikah, @polish.hive @jocieprosza, to name a few.

And then @erikah introduced me to @krolestwo. And thus, at that moment, KBK was a light of hope to me.

I was welcomed by @hallmann and the rest of the group to the KBK like a brother. I still remember walking to the "secret room" through a door that almost felt like a scene from the movie Narnia.

I had an incredible time there. I familiared with meet ups at the kingdom, Lukas let me stay at his place, learnt a new card game that was fully developed by Dawid at the KBK, went on tours learning about the beautiful Krakow city, and even did my first IRL hive/hbd to fiat conversion.

And thus, at that moment, KBK was a home, a friend, a school, a playground, a town hall, a brainstorming club, tasting Polish cuisine, Kingdom-made chocolate and so much more.

It is safe to say that after my short stay at KBK and how @erikah had made it all come together, they became a giant inspiration to me.

I can fully attribute me being the representative for Ukrainians in my city in the Netherlands, creating community events for Ukrainians here, and constantly working to make life better here for Ukrainians to the inspiration from KBK, gandalf, guilty, and erikah.

The Kingdom without Limit has gone to do so much more. They had started by helping one refugee from Ukraine, but the kingdom has no limits, and now they help so many, many more Ukrainians directly and indirectly.

The kingdom lauched @hive.aid. It is an excellent project to bring help to Ukraine, and in that, not to forget the places that are being affected by the war. It was a valiant effort that I fully supported.
Filling up the aid vehicle with blankets, dry food, medicine, warm clothes, first aid kits, and whatnot to send to Ukraine. This is no easy task!

I later was able to get my friend in Kharkov a job at the non-profit that @hive.aid was working with.

They now regularly hold Polish-Ukrainian conversation clubs, language help and more.

This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to KBK.

The Kingdom without Limits is still breaking limits. All the amazing things they do is very underrated and underrepresented, even the sole fact that the kingdom "runs" on the blockchain.
Their efforts have left the KBK, Krakow, Poland and even the EU, reaching eastern parts of Ukraine.

This won't be my first Hive meetup. However, I cannot say it won't be the most special one for me. I am super stoked to join the HiveBeeCon.

It was very shaky, my plans, when the conference was first announced. I was going back and forth on whether I could make it or not. (P.s. @soyrosa - I AM GOING!! Sorrryyy!).
I had to move meetings and postpone quite a few things to make this trip happen. And I'm glad I could.
