\r\n\r\n\u00bfTe acuerdas de aquel tiempo,\r\nque a\u00fan imberbe, enga\u00f1aba\r\nal portero del cine\r\npara ver La Naranja Mec\u00e1nica\r\ny El Imperio de los Sentidos?\r\n\r\nLuego, momentos de Cinemateca,\r\nde Greystoke, El Hombre Elefante\r\ny El Ni\u00f1o Salvaje.\r\nTiempos de foro y discusi\u00f3n,\r\nen que la ideolog\u00eda se impon\u00eda\r\nante la est\u00e9tica\r\ny la pol\u00e9mica val\u00eda m\u00e1s\r\nque el cine mismo.\r\n\r\nAtr\u00e1s hab\u00edan quedado las proyecciones\r\nde Fantas\u00eda, con sus dibujos bailando\r\na Beethoven\r\ny del Oliver Twist de Carol Reed,\r\nde Un D\u00eda Un Gato\r\ny la vida triste de Seryozha.\r\n\r\nCientos de kil\u00f3metros de celuloide\r\ny pasiones plasmadas en luz y sonido,\r\ncon risas, con llantos, con dolores\r\ny con triunfos arrolladores, contundentes.\r\n\r\nUn pietaje que sigue rondando en mi memoria\r\nque me hace m\u00e1s yo y me condiciona,\r\nque habla por m\u00ed y siente y camina.\r\n\r\n\u00bfTe acuerdas cuando descubrimos Monty Python,\r\nWoody Allen y supimos que Chaplin era eterno?\r\nPantallas diminutas y otras gigantes,\r\nsonidos envolventes y, a\u00fan hoy, cine silente.\r\nDos dimensiones, tambi\u00e9n tres,\r\ncolores v\u00edvidos versus el eterno blanquinegro.\r\nY las salas, el verdadero templo de la luz.\r\n\r\nBellezas que no envejecen, actores inmortales,\r\nhistorias permanentes, dramas eternos,\r\nsue\u00f1os nunca realizados, utop\u00edas envejecidas,\r\ny, casi siempre, la esperanza viva.\r\n\r\nT\u00fa y yo mir\u00e1ndonos en ese lienzo,\r\nlinterna m\u00e1gica de nuestras almas,\r\ncon nuestros *alter egos* en proyecci\u00f3n constante,\r\nsin guion y sin censura.\r\n\u00bfTe acuerdas?\r\n\r\n
