Sin duda una de las películas más locas que he visto últimamente 🤣 Jackpot estrenada el pasado 15 de agosto en la plataforma de streaming de Prime Vídeo, protagonizada por John Cena y Awkwafina la misma que aparece en Todo en todas partes al mismo tiempo, sí vieron esta película se podran ir imaginando de la locura que podremos ver en Jackpot.

Katie es una joven actriz que se muda a California para intentar en alcanzar su sueño y encontrar un papel que la catapulte a la fama, lo que no sabe es que su vida está por cambiar radical mente, el lugar al que se muda digamos que es un suburbio de la ciudad y la habitación que rentó es un desastre, como tal todo a su alrededor es un desastre, es importante recalcar que la trama se desarrolla en un futuro cercano en el 2030, y a mi parecer más que comedia es una sátira y hace muchas críticas sociales.

Undoubtedly one of the craziest movies I've seen lately 🤣 Jackpot released last August 15 on Prime Video streaming platform, starring John Cena and Awkwafina the same that appears in Everything Everywhere at the same time, if you saw this movie you can imagine the craziness that we can see in Jackpot.

Katie is a young actress who moves to California to try to achieve her dream and find a role that will catapult her to fame, what she doesn't know is that her life is about to change radically, the place she moves to is a suburb of the city and the room she rented is a disaster, as such everything around her is a disaster, it is important to emphasize that the plot is set in the near future in 2030, and in my opinion more than comedy is a satire and makes many social criticisms.

Siguiendo con la trama en la ciudad se implementa una “Gran Lotería” dónde el ganador es escogido al asar por medio de unas cartas que compras para participar, pero hay algo muy importante y es que el ganador tiene hasta el amanecer para sobrevivir y poder ganarse el gran premio eso sí no muere a manos de los ciudadanos así la persona que mate al ganador podrá reclamar el premio, algo muy turbio pero para nada escapado de algo que se pudiera vivir en la vida real, Katie por accidente pone su huella en un ticket de la lotería y es seleccionada ganadora aquí comenzará su lucha para sobrevivir, todo con una trama muy cómica y loca, en algún momento llegará Noel interpretando por John Cena quien es un experimentado ex agente y hace un trato con Katie de protegerla a cambio de un porcentaje del premio, sin más opciones ella apcede y comienza toda una travesía para llegar a ver el amanecer.

Desde mi punto de vista siento que la necesidad de poder y la ambición al dinero puede hacer que las personas hagan lo que sea por obtenerlo y si es algo tan fácil mejor, ¿imaginás ser millonario de la noche a la mañana? Pero a qué precio, cuando se pierde el sentido común no hay más, está película muestra una realidad disfrazada de comedia pero me gustaría saber sí ya la has visto y que te pareció? From my point of view I feel that the need for power and ambition for money can make people do anything to get it and if it is something so easy the better, imagine being a millionaire overnight? But at what price, when you lose common sense there is no more, this movie shows a reality disguised as a comedy but I would like to know if you have already seen it and what did you think?
