Hello and welcome to my movie review. Today, I am going to review a movie that was released last 2006 and this movie is an animated movie that is suitable for kids and adults to watch. It was directed by John A. Davis, written by John A. Davis & John Nickle.

Anyway, I watch this movie in my Netflix application on my phone because I am bored of waiting the anime that watch I recently, I try to re-watch this movie that I watch years ago.

Story

The story goes like this, Lucas is a young boy who was bullied by his friend named Steve because Steve thinks that he is big and can bully other kids that are "small" to him and he can do whatever he wants. While Lucas was being bullied by Steve, he was devastated and regretted of being small. Then, Lucas saw a colony of ants that was in his front yard which was located near his house.

An idea of Lucas pop up and he uses the technique on which Steve used to him that Lucas is big and these ants are small. Lucas used his toy water gun to splash into the colony of ants then these ants were panicked and get out of the colony while Lucas was shouting at these ants thinking that he is really big and the ants were small.

Lucas was not done yet and out of his frustration he called an exterminator to exterminate these ants.

At night, these ants went to Lucas' bedroom and one of the ants made a potion that can turn into small when putting it inside a human, well it was an experiment used by Zoc and he didn't that the potion worked really well. After they put the potion into Lucas, he become smaller and smaller just like the small ants.

What tragedy will happen to Lucas after getting smaller with the size of the ant?

What I Like about the Movie

The movie itself gave us insights about bullying and how to fight it and there are some cases that it will turn our like this in real life but there are some cases that were not because these bully person or people is too powerful.

I enjoyed watching the movie from the start to finish even if the movie is too old that was released years ago. I think I've watched this four times already and I just finished watching this last night because I want to see again on this movie.

One scene that pop up into my mind is the last part of the movie because Lucas stand up the bully named Steve and he fight with it. Not only that, all of the kids who was being bullied by Steve was united together and fight Steve so that Steve will not bully anymore to other kids that he thinks that they are small and cannot fight with him just because he is big.

Food for thought

Bullying is rampant in every corner of the world. We can see that every where even if we are young or adults. Bullying still exists and we know that bullying to other person or people is not good but there are people that enjoyed bullying to the extend of making the other life miserable.

To prevent bullying, the only thing you can do is fight for it just like the movie that Lucas fight to the bully so that he will not being bullied again and also you can seek any help from your parents on how to stop it so that it can be prevented in the near future because it may lead to depression and make your life miserable if you tolerate on being bullied by anyone.

Conclusion

This movie is really awesome and not only that, they can watch this for all ages. If you didn't watched this yet, you should watch it because it's fun to watch even though the CGI or the animation was a little bit old but the story itself gave us understanding and learning from the movie.

I would rate this movie 7/10 because the story is great but the CGI and animation is old given that it was released years ago. Might be better if they re-animate this one to get a good animation for this Movie and I would really recommend my daughter watching this in the near future.
