(ENG/SPA) Annihilation
Annihilation es un titulo que queda enorme para lo que muestra, sus toques de matemática y física están bien manejados y de alguna manera cautivan pero se hunde en una trama que esta unida con hilos muy frágiles, ese aspecto ADN es lo que rescato, me quedo enormemente con eso porque pienso en el Universo elementos cambiantes pueden existir.
Ese aspecto cambios me agrada, llama mi atención y es donde se centra la imaginación del autor, cuando nombran ese tipo de elementos matemáticos, ya de por sí la película me gana porque soy de los que piensa que los seres vivientes pueden existir aparte de la estructura que nosotros tenemos que es a base de carbono, solo el pensar esto es colocar la imaginación a volar.
Este punto es lo mas positivo del film y que hace al espectador pensar, para un espectador que solo busca entretenimiento comercial, si puede ser muy aburrido pero pensar no es malo y más si lo que se plantea tiene rastros de ser posible. Pienso el film hace un gran esfuerzo por explicarnos su teoría la cual si se es quisquilloso desde el minuto uno se conoce, tal vez por eso el autor decidió colocar esa introducción que en mi caso no me agrada, me saca de film porque me dice el final.
Ahora comprendo la razón, la cual es para poder hacerle lo más fácil posible y digerible la idea que plantea al espectador casual, tiene muchos conceptos como el biológico, físico, genética, psicológico pero el que más me agrado es el matemático porque esta última rama sobre el papel lo puede todo.
Annihilation is a title that is huge for what it shows, its touches of mathematics and physics are well handled and somehow captivate but it sinks in a plot that is linked with very fragile threads, that DNA aspect is what I rescue, I stay with that enormously because I think in the Universe changing elements can exist.
That aspect of changes pleases me, it calls my attention and is where the author's imagination is focused, when they name that kind of mathematical elements, the film already wins me because I am one of those who think that living beings can exist apart from the structure that we have, which is based on carbon, just thinking about this is to put the imagination to fly.
This point is the most positive of the film and that makes the viewer think, for a viewer who only seeks commercial entertainment, if it can be very boring but thinking is not bad and more if what is raised has traces of being possible. I think the film makes a great effort to explain its theory which if you are picky from minute one is known, maybe that's why the author decided to place that introduction that in my case I do not like, it takes me out of the film because it tells me the end.
Now I understand the reason, which is to make it as easy as possible and digestible the idea that raises the casual viewer, has many concepts such as biological, physical, genetic, psychological but the one that most pleased me is the mathematical because the latter branch on paper can do everything.
Desafortunadamente el resto carece de lógica total, tiene dos personajes coherentes que son Lana y Ventress pero el resto están para rellenar, ahora más allá de lo que acabo de escribir es que se maneja toda una trama científica, racional que trata de llevarnos o entender lo que nos quiere plantear el autor en su imaginación pero se olvido de lo mas simple, que la situación de la cual parte se sienta real.
Tiene 0 en lógica humana porque para realizar una investigación en lo que plantea el film, se pierde y convierte en absurdo sus bases en la cuales estudia el fenómeno, tiene dos puntos débiles que nombrare a detalle en la zona con spoilers del tamaño de un volcán donde cada uno, no me dejaron disfrutar la película a plenitud desde el primer acto.
El primer punto es el aspecto autoprotección, simplemente y ante todas las evidencias, tu no te embarcas en misiones suicidas solo porque sí, tiene que haber una razón de peso para poder llegar a ese punto, en Lana se plantea bien, en Ventress muy mal y hace que el resto de integrantes pierda sentido total y resulta que ella es la columna vertebral del film pero es una bastante arqueada, deforme porque la guía pésimamente.
Ventress no tiene estructura de mando, carece de una personalidad que domine, la razón de misiones peligrosas y lo asociare con un ejemplo militar es que un General tiene Soldados que por la enseñanza militar estos últimos son adiestrados para ser imbéciles y solo siguen ordenes porque sí pero en el caso del film no veo eso.
Unfortunately the rest lacks total logic, it has two coherent characters that are Lana and Ventress but the rest are to fill, now beyond what I just wrote is that it handles a whole scientific plot, rational that tries to take us or understand what the author wants to raise us in his imagination but he forgot the simplest thing, that the situation from which part feels real.
It has 0 in human logic because to carry out an investigation in what the film proposes, it gets lost and becomes absurd in its bases in which it studies the phenomenon, it has two weak points that I will name in detail in the area with spoilers of the size of a volcano where each one, did not let me enjoy the film to the fullest from the first act.
The first point is the self-protection aspect, simply and before all the evidence, you do not embark on suicide missions just because, there must be a compelling reason to reach that point, in Lana is raised well, in Ventress very bad and makes the rest of the members lose total sense and it turns out that she is the backbone of the film but is a rather arched, deformed because it guides her badly.
Ventress has no command structure, it lacks a personality that dominates, the reason for dangerous missions and I will associate it with a military example is that a General has Soldiers that by military education the latter are trained to be imbeciles and only follow orders because yes but in the case of the film I do not see that.
Hay personas coherentes que cuidan su vida y no la ponen a disposición de otro porque lo ordene si porque sí, eso no esta bien desarrollado en el film, el resto la sigue porque el guion lo pide pero no por criterio lógico excepto en Lana que quiere llegar a su objetivo.
El segundo punto es su introducción, me cuenta el final y en mi caso como le capto la parte matemática, ya pierde sentido para mi seguir viendo el film porque me estas dando el final desde el principio.
Este tipo de tramas donde el inicio es el final etc etc me parecen un golpe en el estomago porque me delatan todo, yo quiero acompañar el film pero si me muestras el bosque para que quiero ver el árbol, pierde sentido en mi caso, hay tramas que tendrán sus excepciones pero en mi caso tienen que ser muy bien manejadas y en este caso para nada es así.
Pudiera ser la razón el factor audiencia general y hacerle ver la historia con manzanitas para que la entienda, ok en ese aspecto cedo porque en verdad la ciencia que tiene el film es pesada, basado en esto pudiera entender la decisión del autor para desarrollar un inicio así pero también pienso firmemente que no necesitaba en absoluto ese inicio y con cambios ligeros la historia de igual manera sería entendible a un espectador general.
Natalie Portman es que simplemente babeo por ella, tanto en su versión ingles como doblada al español latino amo la voz que tiene y la que le dan, si me convence de ser una científica así como también de tener ese aspecto militar, si la veo aguerrida, no será físicamente fuerte pero le veo con el temple de matar y tomar un cadaver para examinarlo cosa que no muchos pueden en vida real porque son muy sensibles, en ella creo este tipo de personajes.
Un film que por el aspecto científico se merece definitivamente sus 5 chiquitos de 10 porque el solo hecho de manejar estos conceptos tan abstractos y llevarlos a una audiencia, es de resaltar porque hace que el público use sus neuronas por tanto es recomendable de ver para que sepan la existencia de estos conceptos claro está a la manera en que los ve el autor, ahora el titulo de aniquilación le queda abismalmente enorme.

This type of plots where the beginning is the end etc etc seem to me a punch in the stomach because they give everything away, I want to accompany the film but if you show me the forest why do I want to see the tree, it loses sense in my case, there are plots that will have their exceptions but in my case they have to be very well handled and in this case it is not like that at all.
The reason could be the general audience factor and make them see the story with manzanitas to understand it, ok in that aspect I give in because in truth the science that the film has is heavy, based on this I could understand the author's decision to develop a beginning like that but I also firmly think that he did not need that beginning at all and with slight changes the story would still be understandable to a general viewer.
Natalie Portman is that I simply drool for her, both in its English version and dubbed into Latin Spanish I love the voice she has and the one they give her, if she convinces me to be a scientist as well as having that military aspect, if I see her tough, she may not be physically strong but I see her with the mettle to kill and take a corpse to examine it something that not many can in real life because they are very sensitive, in her I create this kind of characters.
A film that for the scientific aspect definitely deserves its 5 out of 10 because the mere fact of handling these abstract concepts and take them to an audience, is to highlight because it makes the public use their neurons so it is advisable to see so they know the existence of these concepts of course the way the author sees them, now the title of annihilation is abysmally huge.
Inicio la zona con spoilers para comentar esa concepto que me agrado del film.
El concepto matemático prisma fue lo que me agrado donde se aplica esta teoría aplicada al ADN para replicar, la parte ciencia ficción es lo que mas me gusto porque este tipo de cosas son bonitas de ver, me hacen pensar que pasaría si hubieran otros seres y como funcionarían sus sistemas, nosotros por ejemplo estamos a base de carbono pero pudiera haber otros en el universo a base de Silicio.
Este tipo de cosas que comento son factibles, es ciencia y esta aplicada en el film llegando de esa manera a muchos espectadores este conocimientos de cosas que se piensan, teorías etc, claro están aplicados a su aventura pero el conocimiento es poder y que este concepto prisma llegue explicado por la física del grupo de expedición lo vi bien, ella dice su teoría pero sabemos es un recurso argumental para poder explicarnos lo que sucede y nosotros podamos entender.
Ahora si lo negativo, la lógica humana, a Lana la toman junto con su esposo todo un personal militar del cual una de sus jefes es Ventress y de la nada y solo porque ella quiere, realizan una expedición para ir al centro del fenómeno sabiendo que anteriores equipos de investigación y militares no han regresado. Esto no es que pudiera estar mal, esta es pésimo y quienes sufren son las tres personajes que acompañan la expedición que están solo para morir pero sin lógica alguna.
Comprendo que para haber una historia se tiene que sacrificar lo racional muchas veces pero este punto esta fuera de sí, Ventress no manda ni en su casa y tiene todo un equipo militar fuera del sitio del fenómeno y elige ir con cuatro personas nada mas, esto es misión suicida total y de paso su obsesión por llegar al lugar es irracional, no entiendo porque su vehemencia por llegar, lo comprendo en Lana por el amor al esposo etc pero en Ventress no, ella solo dice que hay que ir porque sí, no tiene una razón de peso.
Claro esto afecta al resto de personajes que no son pendejas y la misma película lo dice, todas se quieren ir del sitio, solo le siguen porque el guion las obliga, si no, no hay película, por esto es que esta pésimamente planteado el viaje al lugar.
El otro aspecto que me arruino bastante el visionado es que me dice el final, empiezas con el final, ya yo se que todas mueren menos Lena, que gracia tiene, las muertes solo las esperaba, la forma no las conocía pero ya sabía toda la expedición era un fracaso.
El esposo de Lena llega de la nada y ya en ese momento se que no es él, es un multiplicado y en efecto resulto siendo un doppelganger, pierde sentido total. Lena esta obsesionada con su esposo y ya solo eso es razón suficiente para ir, Ventress ofrece la expedición y Lena se ofrece, solo con eso me convences del resto y lo disfruto con cada muerte sorpresa.
Tiene demasiados detalles, la película no justifica para nada el aspecto razón de ser de que ocurra la expedición y sin esto no hay film perdiendo así su fundamento, esto de aniquilación tiene nada, Lena desde que entro se modifico su ADN, no es ni necesaria esa última escena, ya ella esta afectada, su replica emula todo lo que ella hace menos el huir, hasta esa parte luce gracioso.
Tiene muchas debilidades el film y el fenómeno por obra y gracia del espíritu santo desaparece, bueno no se como asimilar eso para el fin de nuestra raza luego de que Ventress acaba de decir que el fenómeno se expandirá y cubrirá todo, esas palabras quedan en vacío y en nada.

This type of things that I comment are feasible, it is science and it is applied in the film reaching in this way to many spectators this knowledge of things that are thought, theories etc, of course they are applied to their adventure but knowledge is power and that this prism concept is explained by the physics of the expedition group, I saw it well, she says her theory but we know it is an argumentative resource to explain what happens and we can understand.
Now if the negative, the human logic, Lana is taken together with her husband by a whole military personnel of which one of the chiefs is Ventress and out of the blue and just because she wants to, they make an expedition to go to the center of the phenomenon knowing that previous research and military teams have not returned. This is not that it could be bad, this is lousy and those who suffer are the three characters who accompany the expedition who are only there to die but without any logic.
I understand that to have a story you have to sacrifice the rational many times but this point is out of place, Ventress does not command even at home and has a whole military team outside the site of the phenomenon and chooses to go with four people only, this is total suicide mission and incidentally his obsession to reach the place is irrational, I do not understand why his vehemence to get there, I understand it in Lana for the love of her husband etc but not in Ventress, she just says you have to go because yes, she does not have a compelling reason.
Of course this affects the rest of the characters that are not assholes and the same movie says it, they all want to leave the place, they only follow because the script forces them, if not, there is no movie, this is why the trip to the place is so badly planned.
The other aspect that ruined my viewing is that it tells me the end, you start with the end, and I know that all die except Lena, that's funny, I only expected the deaths, the way I didn't know them but I already knew the whole expedition was a failure.
Lena's husband arrives out of nowhere and already at that moment I know it's not him, it's a multiplier and in fact he turned out to be a doppelganger, it makes no sense at all. Lena is obsessed with her husband and that alone is reason enough to go, Ventress offers the expedition and Lena offers herself, with that alone you convince me of the rest and I enjoy it with every surprise death.
It has too many details, the film does not justify at all the raison d'être aspect of the expedition and without it there is no film losing its foundation, this annihilation has nothing, Lena since she entered her DNA was modified, it is not even necessary that last scene, she is already affected, her replica emulates everything she does except fleeing, even that part looks funny.
The film has many weaknesses and the phenomenon by the grace of the holy spirit disappears, well I don't know how to assimilate that for the end of our race after Ventress just said that the phenomenon will expand and cover everything, those words are empty and nothing.

Este film confieso lo vi porque vagando por youtube me aparecio la escena donde ellas estan atadas y aparece esa especie extraña de oso que habla o repite lo que escucha para engañar a sus victimas -no entendi bien eso- y me perturbo esa escena. Asi que fui a verla pero me lleve la sorpresa que no era lo que esperaba jajaja ahora que mencionas eso de las matematicas y la genetica me doy cuenta de por que no la entendi 😂
Concuerdo que solo la protagonista tiene una "logica razon" para adentrarse a una mision claramente suicida pero como dije, quede confundida y debo admitir que la unica escena que me dio algo de miedo fue la del oso aunque sinceramente esperaba mas jajaja no es que no disfrute de este tipo de peliculas donde debes prestar atencion a la logica o cosas por el estilo, solo que llega un momento que me pierdo y no se para donde iba dirigida la trama jajaja
Muchachonaaa hola 😃/, ajaja y que haces buscando chicas atadas en yutuX muchachona? 😂, ajaja si es que es pesadisima la película y no se sabe explicar bien, coloca a una física que hace la teoría pero no le da ninguna relevancia, ese personaje debería tener un peso similar al de la doctora para que ubique al espectador en lo que esta pasando y Ventress una perspectiva de la información pasada, eso se plantea y uuuf el film sube porque le comprendemos mas
Si, la protagonista su lógica razón es que anda super obsesionada con el marido pero al menos esa es una razón, las demás no vi nada y bueno ok, se lanzaron a eso y a acompañarlas en la aventura se ha dicho. Aburrio, a mi también me aburrió, esa escena del oso y el cocodrilo despiertan pero el film tiene puntos que aburren
Lo bueno es que ahora sabes que se basaba en prismas de ADN y reflejar el código para crear una replica 😃
Hace mucho tiempo ví Annihilation, la vi dos veces para entender algunas que otras cosas, como por ejemplo ese asunto del reflejo, esa copia "imperfecta" que observamos en muchos momentos desde la llegada de ese grupo comando de mujeres a la célula gigantesca que si mal no recuerdo en el film se le define como un tipo de laboratorio para experimentos y si que están en lo cierto.
Tengo mucho tiempo que no la veo, podré dar un nuevo vistazo, escribir algo y compararlo con la reseña que hice en el 2018.
HaaablmeX muchachon nameless ok dos visionados, si este film necesita mucho para poder captarle la parte científica que es pesadísima, lo que si sucedera es la parte porque hacen la expedición, eso no lo capte pero bueno, si no hay eso, no hay film y Ventress carece de toda lógica, hace las cosas porque sí sin base

Ventress en mi opinión refleja la obsesión del científico que necesita respuestas o experimentar algo por si mismo, que una personas de 11 grupos haya regresado o que puso salir de ese lugar la motivó al entrar porque quería ser parte de eso, dar un paso más, sabiendo que posiblemente no regresaría.
Dentro de algunos días la vuelvo a ver; quiero recomendarle la miniserie "Deba" del director de Annihilation, Alex Garland, es muy buena.
Deba y es del mismo director, como la habrá plasmado, llama mi atención.
Ahora ese es el gran detalle, se puede estar obsesionado pero si eres científico, lo racional no se puede perder porque la idea es que quede conocimiento, plus el hecho de que ella es la líder y no lo refleja, si haces reseña me etiquetas muchachon para leer con gusto tu opinión 😃
Interesante película, en donde hay que saber ver detrás de la metáfora y la "ciencia ficción". Generalmente los mensajes no están explícitos... el hecho de clonar ADN, bueno ya algo te dije al respecto y esos seres hacen que la gente vea cosas, que tal vez no son reales, la realidad de hoy en día lo es, lo que ve la gente? Te aseguro que no.
Muy buena película, porque la mire con ojos de fuera de la matrix. Genial Oscar que la hayas traido.
Muchachonaaa hola 😃/, Si, clonar ya se puede y ya se ha hecho, en humano bueno es otra historia pero esta toda la tecnología para hacerlo, en el film lo presentan dándole el toque de otra base, nosotros somos de carbono y en el film es otra cosa, eso lo veo factible por ejemplo silicio pero ya habría que ver a la criatura y ver sus desenvolvimientos, de que tomaría energía porque por mas que sean de otro elemento, todos son esclavos de la energía que ese cuerpo necesita consumir para seguir funcionando adecuadamente
Mucha tela que cortar, el factor meteorito también se pudo aprovechar mejor y que ahí como si nada, mucha información pero no esta bien distribuida, hace falta peso en los personajes para que llegar el mensaje, ojala se fueran concentrado en la protagonista y la dra Ventres y pienso fuera mas solida, mas redonda, igual entretenida y ayuda a pensar a los espectadores, eso si que es positivo 😃
Recuerdo cuando vi este filme, es de esos que debes más de una vez para entenderlo, así como mencionas hay cosas que se escapan, algunas fallas argumentales y al igual que tu me guie por el título, si bien resulta entretenida hay cosas que se pudieron sacar del filme que no eran necesarias. Creo que en las ultimas escenas me parece que roza la fantasía (debido a que no tenemos el mapa completo).

Hablaaaame muchachon Johe, si hay que verlo varias veces pero a la vez uno se da cuenta de los fallos que tiene y son enormes, hay exceso de personajes, con Lena y Ventress fuera sido una historia solida siempre que se le fuera dado mas sentido a Ventres porque ella quiere llegar al sitio a porque sí y yo nunca capto su vehemencia por ello, quedo perdido
Si, el final es fantasía pura pero a conveniencia, demasiado, hay una parte que emula los movimientos excepto el de correr y wao esa parte es conveniencia argumental de la mas pura. A pesar de lo anterior el film esta bueno para recomendar porque maneja elementos de física y matemática que son bonitos de ver y ayudan a tener imaginación, eso s que me agrado 😃
