I hope you are feeling very well, I am recovering little by little, psychologically and emotionally, despite the grief that invades me for the physical loss of my sister, but well, we must continue, including my activity in Hive, which I am also progressively resuming.

This time I want to tell you about a movie that my girlfriend suggested me to watch, it is not my style of themes to watch but I do not refuse to them, since I like dramas of couples and relationships, as long as it is an interesting story or with a background behind. And in history I could not only get a lot to talk about as a movie, but for reflection and a lot of laughs. That is why I bring you my review of Pride and Prejudice, and as in each of them, I offer you a brief summary and my final comments.

Have you ever thought that a person you deeply disliked would be the ideal person for you? This is what happened to Elizabeth Bennet, a young girl who, along with her sisters, her mother Mrs. Bennet and her father Mr. Bennet, find themselves in the eyes of society, hoping for an economic future for their family and a recognition of their status. Mr. Bennet is in charge of the household and as the father of the family, he is the one who covers all the expenses and demands of his daughters and wives, Mrs. Bennet is aware that having only female descendants, they depend on a man to claim them, besides this, he must be a person with good social and economic status, to support the family, and not only depend on Mr. Bennet's income, that is why Mrs. Bennet trusts in the charm and beauty of her daughters, especially in the older ones.

On the other hand we have Elizabeth, who unlike her mother, she rejects the idea that she should be postulated only as an object to the highest bidder to help her family, she thinks she has more to give, as her intelligence and strength, which has proven to be different from her other sisters, however this does not keep her away from supporting them and her family, as long as she is not involved in a relationship with someone, until this changes very soon. The family is invited to a grand ball, where the Bennet's go prepared, as it is an opportunity to meet men of social status who may be interested in their daughters, Elizabeth on the other hand, although willing to support her older sister Jane Bennet, in conquering the host of the party, she tries to avoid any social contact, until she runs into a person who catches her attention, Fitzwilliam Darcy.

It is the first time I do a review of a love hate theme, where a couple are enemies and end up loving each other, although it is a cliché of life, and it happens a lot nowadays, pride and prejudice for me, it caught my attention beyond being its main feature. Starting with the fact that it was entertaining and not boring, that's quite a lot, from the beginning, it is stated what the situation is, what happens and what each movement of the characters is about, if you pay enough attention, Mr. Bennet aware that he must let go of his daughters at some point and because of what society establishes he does not want to do it because he loves his daughters more and is a jealous father, on the other hand Mrs. Bennet is more concerned about what they will say, about social status and totally disinterested in the feelings of his daughters, she simply sees them as an object.

In the same way we can draw the deduction in each of the characters, obviously in the case of Elizabeth and Darcy, it is totally different, they do not know what they want, but in the end of the film is revealed, but that is the juice of the story. Each character knows what they are looking for, Jane is looking for someone who loves her, Darcy's best friend wants someone by his side but feels too insecure to make his own decisions, his sister is wary of her heritage and family status. Darcy's socialite aunt, like Bennet's family, sees her nephew as an object to be cared for, and therefore tries to keep him from entering into any marriages outside of what has been agreed upon. And so on, each character and the story expresses their intentions well, therefore, it seems to me a simple story to understand, and it is entertaining, where there are threads to analyze if you like it.

Now, it is a movie that I recommend it to everyone, not because it is bad, not at all, but it depends very much on your tastes and even how you like to perceive what you are seeing, the story develops a very quiet pace, you need patience to see it (although now I think that movies now the pace at which a story progresses is very fast). On that side, on the other hand your tastes, because although, I do not consume very often this type of romantic movies, I do not refuse and if I like them, as long as it can have many elements that can then talk, but not everyone has that same taste, and it is quite valid. On the other hand, the movie is set in a very English time, where the language, the courtesy and the way of speaking, is notorious without losing any detail, therefore, other people may like it more, and others may not, I particularly liked that detail, even if there were words that I had to google hahaha.

Finally what can I tell you, the characters, the characters, faithfully represent not only a social construction of what pride and prejudices can do in our lives, of the decisions we make and the mistakes we end up making, but also of that humanity to accept them, that some if, are not with a bad intention, prejudices generate an erroneous image of the reality that one or more people have, just as pride, beyond being made of stone, is only a hiding place for the shame we can feel sometimes, when we meet someone.

Now, here I am going to make a paragraph, that I even told my partner that I would do it hahaha, what about Mr. Darcy? I mean, if I have to make a top of things that don't make sense in this movie, there is only one, it's how this gentleman, without any explanation, appears in any, ANYWHERE, out of nowhere, but seriously out of nowhere hahahahahaha. Maybe that they place a scene where he goes walking in the hallway and stands there, and then suddenly Elizabeth arrives, but no, Elizabeth runs off to Beijing, to the other side of the world, one way, to a place alone, and it turns out that DARCY was already there, waiting, to come out and tell him "Miss Elizabeth" but well!!!!! This gentleman is Ninja? 🤣 If he was a mortal Kombat hero he would be broken for real and I can faithfully count the times he did that in the movie.

And well my dear readers of Hive, this was my review for today, I really hope with all my heart, I hope to increase my courage to continue developing my usual content here, I know it's not easy, but I can. Espero se encuentren muy bien, yo poco a poco, recuperándome de forma anímica y psicológicamente, pese al duelo que me invade por la pérdida física de mi hermana, pero bueno, hay que continuar, incluyendo mi actividad en Hive, que progresivamente también estoy retomando.

En esta oportunidad quiero hablarles de una película que mi novia me sugirió ver, no es mi estilo de temas para ver pero no me niego a ellos, ya que los dramas de parejas y relaciones me gustan, siempre y cuando sea una historia interesante o con un trasfondo detrás. Y en historia no solo le pude sacar bastante de qué hablar como película, sino para reflexionar y muchas risas. Es por ello que les traigo mi reseña de Orgullo y Prejuicio, y como en cada una de ellas, les ofrezco un breve resumen y mis comentarios finales.

¿Alguna vez creíste que una persona a quien guardabas un profundo rechazo, sería la persona ideal para ti? Así le pasó Elizabeth Bennet, una joven chica quien junto a sus hermanas, su madre la Mrs. Bennet y su padre el Mr. Bennet se encuentran a ojos de la sociedad, esperando un futuro económico para su familia y un reconocimiento en sus estatus. Mr. Bennet es el encargado del hogar y como padre de familia, es él quien cubre todos los gastos y demandas de sus hijas y esposas, la Mrs. Bennet es consciente que al tener solo descendientes mujeres, estás dependen de un hombre que las reclamé, además de esto, debe ser una persona con buen estatus social y económica, para apoyar en la familia, y no solo depender del ingreso del señor Bennet, es por ello que la Mrs confía en el encanto y la belleza de sus hijas, sobre en las mayores.

Por otro lado tenemos a Elizabeth, quien a diferencia de su madre, está rechaza la idea de que deba ser postulada solo como un objeto ante el mejor postor para ayudar a su familia, ella piensa que tiene más para dar, como su inteligencia y fuerza, lo cual ha demostrado ser distintas a sus demás hermanas, sin embargo esto no la aleja en apoyarlas y en apoyar a su familia, siempre y cuando ella no se vea involucrada en relacionarse con alguien, hasta que esto cambia muy pronto. La familia es invitado a un gran baile, donde los Bennet se van preparados, ya que es una oportunidad de conocer a hombres de estatus sociales que pueden interesarse en sus hijas, Elizabeth por otra parte, aunque gustosa de apoyar su hermana mayor Jane Bennet, en conquistar al anfitrión de la fiesta, ella trata de evitar cualquier contacto social, hasta que se topa con una persona quien llama su atención, Fitzwilliam Darcy.

Es primera vez que hago una reseña, de un tema amor odio, donde una pareja son enemigos y terminan amándose, aunque es un cliché de la vida, y ocurre muchísimo en la actualidad, orgullo y prejuicio para mí, me llamó bastante la atención más allá de ser esa su característica principal. Empezando que fue entretenida y no aburrida, eso es bastante, desde el inicio, se plantea cuál es la situación, que sucede y de qué va cada movimiento de los personajes, si se presta la suficiente atención, Mr. Bennet consciente que debe soltar a sus hijas en algún momento y por lo que establece la sociedad no quiere hacerlo porque ama más a sus hijas y es un padre celoso, en cambio la Mrs. Bennet se preocupa más por lo que dirán, por el estatus social y desinteresada totalmente de los sentimientos de sus hijas, simplemente las ve como un objeto.

De la misma manera podemos sacar la deducción en cada uno de los personajes, evidentemente en el caso de Elizabeth y Darcy, es totalmente distinto, ellos no saben lo que quieren, sino en el final de la película se revela, pero ese es el jugo de la historia. Cada personaje sabe lo que busca, Jane busca a alguien que la ama, el mejor amigo de Darcy quiere a alguien a su lado pero se siente demasiado inseguro para tomar sus propias decisiones, su hermana es una recelosa de su herencia y estatus familiar. La tía de Darcy perteneciente a la alta sociedad, ve igual que la familia de Bennet, a su sobrino como un objeto que hay que cuidar, por ende, procura que no contraiga ningún matrimonio fuera de lo acordado. Y así sucesivamente, cada personaje y la historia plasma bien sus intenciones, por ende, me parece una historia sencilla de entender, y que es entretenida, donde hay hilos que analizar si te gusta.

Ahora bien, es una película que se la recomiendo a todo el mundo, no, porque sea mala, para nada, pero si depende muy de tus gustos e incluso de como te guste percibir lo que estás viendo, la historia se desarrolla un ritmo muy tranquilo, necesitas paciencia para verla (aunque ahora opino que las películas de ahora el ritmo con que avanza una historia es muy rápido) . Por ese lado, por otro lado tus gustos, porque si bien, yo no consumo muy frecuente este tipo de películas románticas, no me niego y si me gustan, siempre y cuando pueda tener muchos elementos que luego pueda hablar, pero no todos tienen ese mismo gusto, y es bastante válido. Por otro lado, la película está ambientada en una época muy inglesa, donde el lenguaje, la cortesía y la forma de hablar, es notorio sin perder algún detalle, por ende, a otras personas como puede gustarle más, como a otros no, a mi en lo particular me gustó ese detalle, aunque hubiesen palabras que luego tuviese googlear jajaja.

Por último que puedo comentarles, los personajes, los personajes, fielmente representan no solo una construcción social de lo que el orgullo y los prejuicios pueden hacer en nuestras, de las decisiones que tomamos y de los errores que luego terminamos cometiendo, sino también de aquella humanidad de aceptarlos, que algunos si, no son con una mala intención, los prejuicios nos generan una imagen errónea de la realidad que una o varias personas tienen, al igual que el orgullo, más allá de ser de piedra, solo es un escondite para la vergüenza que podemos sentir a veces, cuando conocemos a alguien.

Ahora, aquí voy a hacer un apartado, que incluso se lo dije a mi pareja que lo haría jajaja, ¿que onda con Mrs Darcy ? O sea, si yo debo de hacer un top de cosas que no tienen sentido en esta película, solo hay una, es de como este señor, sin explicación alguna, aparece en cualquier, EN CUALQUIER LUGAR, de la nada, pero en serio de la nada jajajaj. Tal vez que colocan una escena donde el va caminando en el pasillo y se queda allí, y luego de repente llega Elizabeth, pero no, Elizabeth se va corriendo a Pekín, al otro lado del mundo, en una sola dirección, a un sitio a solas, y resulta que DARCY ya estaba allí, esperando, para salir y decirle “Señorita Elizabeth” pero bueno!! Este señor es Ninja? 🤣 Si fuese un héroe de mortal Kombat estuviese roto de verdad y puedo contar fielmente las veces que hizo eso en la película.

Y bueno mis queridos lectores de Hive, está fue mi reseña por el día de hoy, de verdad espero de todo corazón, aumentar mis ánimos para continuar desarrollando mi contenido habitual por aquí, sé que no es fácil, pero podré. ¿Ya has visto está película?
