What's up, Hive people? Welcome back to a review. In this case it's the turn of "Daisy Jones And The Six" or " Todos Quieren A Daisy Jones", although I read the book this time we are going to judge the ten chapter miniseries as a single product, some other time we will confront it with literature. So, here we go.
¿Qué tal, gente de Hive? Sean bienvenidos de nuevo a una reseña. En este caso le toca a “Daisy Jones And The Six” o “Todos Quieren A Daisy Jones”, aunque me leí el libro esta vez vamos a juzgar la miniserie de diez capítulos como producto único, en otro momento la enfrentaremos a la literatura. Ahora sí, vamos allá.
"Daisy Jones And The Six" tells the story of The Six and Daisy Jones, two fictional rock exponents of the 70's who came together to create the most successful band in the world at the time, full of great music, drama and romance, each chapter tells us the beginning and the reason why one day they simply stopped playing together after a concert at the height of their success.
“Daisy Jones And The Six” nos cuenta la historia de The Six y Daisy Jones, dos exponentes ficticios del rock de los 70’s que se unieron para crear la banda más exitosa del mundo en su época, llena de buena música, drama y romance, cada capítulo nos cuenta el inicio y la razón del por qué un día simplemente dejaron de tocar juntos después de un concierto en la cima de su éxito.
If you like music, rock and light series, this is for you. The plot is based on the songs, the conflicts of the characters which are quite general but entertaining.
Si te gusta la música, el rock y las series ligeras, es para ti. La trama se basa en las canciones, los conflictos de los personajes que son bastante generales pero entretenidos.
No character is perfect by any means. The main characters in this story are Billy Dunne (lead singer of The Six), his wife Camila and Daisy Jones. They are accompanied by everyone in the band and the production team, honestly, I like how each one is constructed. They are so questionable, but at the same time easy to love. There are women devoted to marriage, others to music and some well...to narcotics jsjsjsjsjs. Daisy is everything that is right in this world, she and Warren (the drummer) are my favorite characters, they are crazy, enjoy the moment and are what they want to be. Billy is a bit politically incorrect, but I love him <3.
Ningún personaje es perfecto, en absoluto. Los protagonistas de esta historia son Billy Dunne (vocalista de The Six), su esposa Camila y Daisy Jones. Los acompañan todos los integrantes de la banda y el equipo de producción, sinceramente, me gusta cómo está construido cada uno. Son tan cuestionables, pero a la vez fáciles de amar. Hay mujeres entregadas al matrimonio, otras a la música y algunas bueno… a los estupefacientes jsjsjsjs. Daisy es todo lo que está bien en este mundo, ella y Warren (el baterista) son mis personajes favoritos, están locos, disfrutan el momento y son lo que quieren ser. Billy es un poco políticamente incorrecto, pero lo quiero <3
The plot is good, there is only one chapter that I consider filler, the rest is a rush for the growth of this band. It's full of spectacular songs that you can find on Youtube, even though it's not a very deep series, it's very entertaining. It really sells you on the life of a rocker at the top. I like that it's a series where you get to see performances, rehearsals, the main characters writing songs and how hard it is to make it to success.
La trama es buena, hay un solo capítulo que considero de relleno, el resto es un subidón por el crecimiento de esta banda. Está llena de canciones espectaculares que puedes encontrar en Youtube, aunque no sea una serie muy profunda, es muy entretenida. Te vende realmente la vida de un rockero en la cima. Me gusta que sea una serie en la que puedas ver presentaciones, ensayos, a los protagonistas escribiendo canciones y lo difícil que es llegar al éxito.
The romance is not my favorite part of the series but I won't deny that I laughed out loud at some of the soap opera moments. Riley Keough (the actress who plays Daisy), Elvis Presley's granddaughter, not only eats the role, but she has an incredible chemistry with Sam Clafin (Billy) on screen.
El romance no es lo que más me gustó de la serie pero no te negaré que me reí a más no poder en algunos momentos muy de telenovela. Riley Keough (actriz que interpreta a Daisy), es la nieta de Elvis Presley, no sólo se come el papel, sino que tiene una química increíble con Sam Clafin (Billy) en pantalla.
My final rating is 7/10, it's not life changing, but it's great for singing along and relaxing at home.
Mi calificación final es de 7/10, no te cambia la vida, pero es muy buena para cantar y relajarte en tu casa.

Me interesa mucho ver esta serie porque he visto un poco de Riley Keough y me ha gustado, que por cierto no sabía que era nieta de Elvis, muy buen dato!
