Thanks to a lot of publicity about the release of Kung Fu Panda 4 it crossed my mind that I should watch all the previous ones again to have the story fresher and enjoy the new one better. Although I remember that when the first one was released I liked it a lot, maybe over the years these tastes for it have changed, but that's what we will find out later, so, welcome dear friends of the community and lovers of cinema and television series, today I want to talk clearly about the film that started this saga, let's talk about "Kung Fu Panda", let's start.

This movie was released on June 6, 2008 and is produced by DreamWorks Animation studio. In this adventure we will find a diversity of genres, among them action, adventure, comedy, fantasy and a lot of suspense, without forgetting that it is a completely animated movie (being one of the great works of DreamWorks). Here we will follow the story of Po, a panda bear who is quite lazy, but curiously is a big fan of Kung-fu, so he has the dream of becoming a great master and this opportunity comes to him unexpectedly when he is chosen as the hero of the prophecy, but is he really ready to face the evil that is coming?
What happens in the movie?
The film begins with a beautiful animation where we are told a legend of a great warrior so amazing that everyone admired him and the enemies feared him, but this was nothing more than a dream of our beloved protagonist Po, a panda bear whose father is a goose (yes, just as you read it) and wakes him up because he must get to work. The dream Po had is the opposite of reality. Po is no warrior, he is not even athletic, he is really a rather lazy panda bear who finds it hard to even get up from the ground, but he still helps his dear father, the goose, with his noodle restaurant.

On the other side, we meet master Shifu, who trained a group of animals to become the 5 furious ones, being conformed by Tigress, Monkey, Mantis, Viper and Crane. There is also master Oogway, an old turtle who has visions of an approaching evil, so the time has come to choose the Dragon Warrior. One of these great warriors trained by master Shifu will be selected to become the Dragon Warrior, who is the best warrior capable of facing the great threats of the world. A celebration will be held to reveal the chosen one.

The news spreads quickly, so everyone attends the ceremony, including Po. Although he wants to know who the Dragon Warrior will be, his father sent him just to sell noodles. It was almost impossible for Po to get to the ceremony site, but once he makes it they close the door in his face, so he must find another way to see the show and when the master Oogway is about to select the Dragon Warrior among the 5 furious ones, Po has a great idea to use rockets to be able to enter the place and not miss this magical moment. Po's plan works in a disastrous way, but when Po opens his eyes, he can see the finger of master Oogway pointing at him, who assures that Po is now the new Dragon Warrior, leaving everyone surprised and clearly unhappy with the situation.

My opinion about the movie
With that little context of the film said, I want to talk about my opinion regarding different aspects of the film, starting with the story. Personally I am not used to see many movies where the theme is directed towards martial arts and the ones I have consumed are by Jackie Chan (who curiously lent his voice to a character of the Furious 5), so I do not have much knowledge about it, but I must say that this one seemed to me a quite original story, the fact of choosing the least effective person to become the best warrior in the world undoubtedly gives to tell many things and in this one I think they knew how to squeeze the concept of destiny and struggle, so without fear of anything, it seems to me one of the best DreamWorks stories, although it may seem quite simple at first.
Here I want to cover two things, the animation and the action of the film, on the one hand, the animation of the characters, the fluidity, the beauty of the scenery and the friendly way in which all the scenes of the film look incredible, I would even dare to say that it is better animation than many current films and we must take into account that this film was released almost 16 years ago. Hand in hand with the animation, is the action, no doubt we see many fights, many combat techniques and this in a way is quite entertaining, because for someone like me who does not have much idea about martial arts was very stimulating and made me want to see more content related to this, so the fights are very fluid and very realistic to see.

This film has several very important actors who lent their voices to the characters, as I said before Jackie Chan did it, also with him were Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen and Jack Black (I only mention these because they are the ones I recognize) who undoubtedly gave much dynamism to the characters, which brings me to another point and that is that the comedy in this movie is very good and it is just because of that, because of the characters, each one has such a different personality, but that works perfectly in the group that generates many quite funny moments, which I think is quite a strong point of the movie, it has that comic relief after or even during the fights, it is just wonderful.
Finally I also want to emphasize that this film has something significant and is the message it wants to convey, they talk about different topics such as fate, desire, the struggle to achieve what we want and how our only impediment to all situations are ourselves and that this is in a film listed for children audience means a lot, because it allows people of different ages can enjoy perfectly a fairly childish film, but also quite adult in different aspects and very interesting, so it is certainly one of those movies that you can see again and again regardless of your age and you will enjoy it. For me it has 5 out of 5 stars as a rating.

Gracias a mucha publicidad sobre el estreno de Kung Fu Panda 4 se me pasó por la mente que debería ver todas las anteriores nuevamente para tener la historia más fresca y así disfrutar la nueva mejor. Aunque recuerdo que cuando se estrenó la primera me gustó bastante, quizás con el paso de los años estos gustos por ella hayan cambiado, pero es lo que averiguaremos más adelante, por eso, sean bienvenidos queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes del cine y las series de televisión, el día de hoy quiero hablarles claramente de la película que inicio esta saga, hablemos de “Kung Fu Panda”, comencemos.

Esta película estrenada el 6 de junio del año 2008 está producida por el estudio DreamWorks Animation. En esta aventura encontraremos una diversidad de géneros, entre ellos acción, aventura, comedia, fantasía y mucho suspenso, sin olvidar que es una película completamente animada (siendo uno de unos grandes trabajos de DreamWorks). Aquí seguiremos la historia de Po, un oso panda que es bastante perezoso, pero curiosamente es un gran fan del Kung-fu, por lo que tiene el sueño de convertirse en un gran maestro y esta oportunidad le llega de manera inesperada cuando es elegido como el héroe de la profecía, pero ¿realmente está preparado para enfrentarse al mal que se avecina?
¿Qué sucede en la película?
La película comienza con una preciosa animación donde se nos cuenta una leyenda de un gran guerrero tan asombroso que todos lo admiraban y los enemigos le temían, pero esto no era más que un sueño de nuestro querido protagonista Po, un oso panda cuyo padre es un ganso (si, así como lo leyeron) y lo despierta porque debe ponerse a trabajar. El sueño que tuvo Po es todo lo contrario a la realidad. Po no es ningún guerrero, no es ni atlético, realmente es un oso panda bastante perezoso al que le cuesta incluso levantarse del suelo, pero aun así ayuda a su querido padre, el ganso, con su restaurante de fideos.

En otro lado, nos encontramos con el maestro Shifu, quien entrenó a un grupo de animales para convertirse en los 5 furiosos, siendo conformado por Tigresa, Mono, Mantis, Víbora y Grulla. También está el maestro Oogway, una anciana tortuga que tiene visiones de un mal aproximándose, por lo que llegó la hora de elegir al Guerrero Dragón. Alguno de estos grandes guerreros entrenados por el maestro Shifu será seleccionado para convertirse en el Guerrero Dragón, quien es el mejor guerrero capaz de enfrentarse contra las grandes amenazas del mundo. Por lo que será realizada una celebración para revelar al elegido.

La noticia se esparce rápidamente, por lo que todos asisten al lugar de la ceremonia, incluso Po. Aunque este quiere saber quién será el Guerrero Dragón, su padre lo envió solo para que vendiese fideos. Fue casi imposible para Po llegar al lugar de la ceremonia, pero una vez lo logra cierran la puerta en su cara, por lo que debe encontrar otra manera de ver el espectáculo y cuando el maestro Oogway está por seleccionar al Guerrero Dragón entre los 5 furiosos, Po tiene una gran idea de utilizar cohetes para poder entrar al lugar y no perderse este mágico momento. El plan de Po funciona de una manera desastrosa, pero cuando Po abre los ojos, puede ver el dedo del maestro Oogway señalándole, quien asegura que ahora Po es el nuevo Guerrero Dragón, dejando a todos sorprendidos y claramente indispuestos ante la situación.

Mi opinión sobre la película
Ya con ese pequeño contexto de la película dicho, quiero hablarles de mi opinión con respecto a distintos aspectos de la película, comenzando por la historia. Yo en lo personal no acostumbro a ver muchas películas donde su temática esté dirigida hacia las artes marciales y las que sí he consumido son de Jackie Chan (quien curiosamente prestó su voz para un personaje de los 5 furiosos), por lo que no tengo tanto conocimiento sobre ello, pero debo decir que esta me pareció una historia bastante original, el hecho de elegir a la persona menos efectiva para convertirse en el mejor guerrero del mundo sin dudas da para contar muchas cosas y en esta considero que supieron exprimir el concepto del destino y la lucha, por lo que sin miedo a nada, me parece de las mejores historias de DreamWorks, aunque pueda parecer bastante sencilla al principio.
Aquí quiero abarcar dos cosas, la animación y la acción de la película, por un lado, la animación de los personajes, la fluidez, la belleza de los escenarios y la manera tan amigable que se ven todas las escenas de la película me parece increíble, incluso me atrevería a decir que es mejor animación que muchas películas actuales y hay que tener en cuenta que esta película se estrenó hace casi 16 años. De la mano con la animación, está la acción, sin dudas vemos muchos combates, muchas técnicas de combate y esto de cierta manera es bastante entretenido, porque para alguien como yo que no tiene mucha idea sobre las artes marciales resultó muy estimulante y me hizo querer ver más contenido relacionado con esto, por lo que los combates son muy fluidos y muy realistas de ver.

Esta película cuenta con varios actores muy importantes que prestaron sus voces para los personajes, como bien dije antes lo hizo Jackie Chan, también junto a él estuvieron Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen y Jack Black (solo menciono a estos porque son los que reconozco) quienes sin duda le dieron mucho dinamismo a los personajes, lo cual me lleva a otro punto y es que la comedia en esta película es muy buena y es justo por ello, por los personajes, cada uno tiene una personalidad tan distinta, pero que funciona a la perfección en el grupo que genera muchos momentos bastante cómicos, cosa que me parece un punto bastante fuerte de la película, tiene ese alivio cómico luego o incluso durante los combates, es simplemente maravilloso.
Por último también quiero destacar que esta película cuenta con algo significativo y es el mensaje que quiere transmitir, hablan sobre distintos temas como lo es el destino, el deseo, la lucha por alcanzar aquello que queremos y cómo nuestro único impedimento ante todas las situaciones somos nosotros mismos y que esto se encuentre en una película catalogada para público infantil quiere decir mucho, porque permite que personas de diferentes edades puedan disfrutar a la perfección de una película bastante infantil, pero también bastante adulta en diferentes aspectos y muy interesante, por lo que sin dudas es una de esas películas que puedes ver una y otra vez sin importar tu edad y la vas a disfrutar. Para mí tiene 5 de 5 estrellas como calificación.

Yo amo Kung Fu Panda, hoy dia la sigo disfrutando aunque mi favorita y la que mas veo sea la segunda pelicula, no me importa tener casi 30 años jaja la sigo disfrutando como de pequeña 😂
Si bien es cierto que esta dirigida al publico infantil, tiene demasiados detalles que recien a mi edad adulta pude entender, como los que mencionas en tu reseña. Es una muy buena historia, con algunas cosas que no me convencen del todo, pero es eso, una pelicula para entretener jaja simpatica y con una animacion increible, los mismos productores han dicho que fue dificil animarla, sobre todo animar a Lord Shen y aun asi hicieron un trabajo impecable ❤️

Te entiendo a la perfección, porque yo a mis 27 años me siento de la misma manera, jaja. Sin duda diría que de toda la saga (sin contar la cuarta porque no la he visto) mi favorita también es la segunda, una historia muy buena.
Es cierto, disfruto mucho de eso en las películas, cuando son dirigidas a cierto público, pero aún así mantienen pequeñas cosas para que cualquiera puede sentirse entretenido.

I might have to do like you and watch this movie and it's sequels all over again
