Hola amigos de la comunidad de Movies & Tv espero se encuentren bien el día de hoy. Ayer tuve la oportunidad de ver con mi hermana una película que nos había llamado la atención desde hace mucho tiempo, la película fue lanzada en el año 2016 y es protagonizada por la increíble actriz Emily Blunt, si les estoy hablando de La Chica del Tren, una película de género thriller psicológico y suspenso dirigida por Tate Taylor y basada en la novela homónima de Paula Hawkins, en su momento la película fue catalogada como una copia de Gone Girl por lo que leí en internet pero ambas son diferentes y pienso que tienen cosas que las hacen ser de las mejores peliculas de la década del 2010, no sabia que esperar acerca de esta historia y aunque siempre decia que prefería leer el libro primero ganó más mi emoción por ver la película que me dejó muy sorprendida por lo inesperada que fue.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to watch with my sister a movie that had caught our attention for a long time, the movie was released in 2016 and it stars the amazing actress Emily Blunt, yes I'm talking about The Girl on the Train, a psychological thriller and suspense genre movie directed by Tate Taylor and based on the novel of the same name by Paula Hawkins, at the time the movie was labeled as a copy of Gone Girl for what I read on the internet but both are different and I think they have things that make them one of the best movies of the decade of 2010, I did not know what to expect about this story and although I always said I preferred to read the book first won more my excitement to see the movie that left me very surprised by how unexpected it was.

La historia comienza contándonos la vida de una mujer llamada Rachel quien pasa parte de sus días viajando sola entre los vagones de un tren, pero esto tiene una explicación y es que antes de terminar siendo una alcohólica ella estaba casada con un hombre llamado Tom y tenían una relación perfecta pero por sus problemas con la adicción y el no poder quedar embarazada hicieron que está relación terminara además de que Tom le estaba siendo infiel. El tren que siempre toma Rachel pasa justo al frente de la casa donde solía vivir con su ex esposo Tom quien ahora tiene una nueva familia con Anna la mujer con la que tenía una relación a escondidas y quién ahora es la madre de su hija. Podemos ver que Rachel tiene pensamientos incoherentes y que suele tener lagunas mentales donde recuerda que al estar con Tom ella tenía un mal comportamiento por su propia adicción y que esto llevo a que la relación tuviera una ruptura definitiva, siempre se sintió culpable por no poder darle la alegría a Tom de tener un hijo con él.

The story begins telling us the life of a woman named Rachel who spends part of her days traveling alone between the cars of a train, but this has an explanation and that is that before ending up being an alcoholic she was married to a man named Tom and they had a perfect relationship but because of her problems with addiction and not being able to get pregnant made this relationship ended in addition to Tom was being unfaithful. The train that Rachel always takes passes right in front of the house where she used to live with her ex-husband Tom who now has a new family with Anna, the woman with whom he had a secret relationship and who is now the mother of his daughter. We can see that Rachel has incoherent thoughts and often has mental gaps where she remembers that being with Tom she had a bad behavior because of her own addiction and that this led to the relationship had a definitive breakup, she always felt guilty for not being able to give Tom the joy of having a child with him.

Después de que nos muestran la vida desordenada de Rachel y sus problemas con el alcohol vemos que en la película muestran el pasado y conocemos un poco de la historia de Anna la nueva esposa de Tom quien es ahora la madre de su hija y que se dedica a criarla junto con la niñera llamada Megan, ambas tienen muy buena relación y mucha confianza entre sí tanto que Anna siempre le comenta a Megan que la vida antes de ser madre era totalmente diferente y que algunas veces añora poder hacer ciertas cosas que hacía cuando no tenía a su hija Ivy. Las cosas se vuelven un poco complicadas cuando la niñera Megan le dice a Anna que ya no puede continuar cuidando de Ivy y que ya no trabajará más ayudándola en casa cosa que hace sentir mal a Anna pero Megan le dice que ella es una buena madre y que puede criar a su hija y a la vez seguir con su vida normal haciendo las cosas que le gustaba hacer antes de ser madre.

After they show us Rachel's messy life and her problems with alcohol we see that in the movie they show the past and we know a little of the history of Anna, Tom's new wife who is now the mother of his daughter and who is dedicated to raise her along with the nanny named Megan, both have a very good relationship and a lot of trust between them so much that Anna always tells Megan that life before being a mother was totally different and that sometimes she longs to be able to do certain things she did when she didn't have her daughter Ivy. Things get a little complicated when the nanny Megan tells Anna that she can no longer continue taking care of Ivy and that she will no longer work helping her at home which makes Anna feel bad but Megan tells her that she is a good mother and that she can raise her daughter and at the same time continue with her normal life doing the things she liked to do before being a mother.

Por otro lado Rachel quien sigue bebiendo para ocultar su dolor en uno de sus viajes por tren ve a través de la ventana a una pareja que le parece perfecta y que le hace recordar su relación con Tom, hasta que un día se da cuenta de que en la casa de su ex esposo Tom esta Anna como de costumbre pero se encuentra con otro hombre y se ven muy cariñosos, desde lejos no puede ver muy hien quien es el hombre pero esto le causa mucha ira porque piensa que la mujer que le arrebato su vida perfecta y al hombre que amaba ahora esta teniendo una relación con otro hombre que no es Tom. Así que decide que tiene que contarle a Tom que su esposa está siendo infiel y que las cosas serían diferentes si el nunca la hubiera traicionado y abandonado. Pero todo da un giro drástico cuando sale en las noticias que una mujer llamada Megan está desaparecida y que no hay rastros de su cuerpo en ningún lugar, para explicar un poco esto debo mencionar que Megan es la mujer que Rachel siempre miraba con su pareja y que le parecía que tenían la relación perfecta y que además vive a dos casas de la de su ex esposo Tom.

On the other hand Rachel who keeps drinking to hide her pain in one of her train trips sees through the window a couple that seems perfect and that makes her remember her relationship with Tom, until one day she realizes that in her ex-husband's house Tom Anna is Anna as usual but she meets another man and they look very affectionate, from far away she cannot see very well who the man is but this causes her much anger because she thinks that the woman who snatched her perfect life and the man she loved is now having a relationship with another man who is not Tom. So he decides that he has to tell Tom that his wife is being unfaithful and that things would be different if he had never betrayed and abandoned her. But everything takes a drastic turn when it comes out in the news that a woman named Megan is missing and that there is no trace of her body anywhere, to explain this a little bit I should mention that Megan is the woman that Rachel always looked at with her partner and that she thought they had the perfect relationship and that she also lives two houses away from her ex-husband Tom's house.

Rachel decide involucrarse en la investigación, a pesar de su propia inestabilidad emocional y los problemas de memoria causados por su abuso del alcohol. A medida que la trama se desarrolla, nos adentramos en un laberinto de secretos y engaños que involucran no solo a Megan, sino también a Anna y a Tom. As the plot unfolds, we are drawn into a labyrinth of secrets and deceit involving not only Megan, but Anna and Tom as well. Rachel finds herself caught in a web of lies and suspicion as she struggles to recover memories from the night of Megan's disappearance. Now among so many mental gaps and situations that for Rachel do not have a coherent explanation is difficult to find on her own some clue that indicates what happened to Megan, among her blurred memories she realizes that the woman she saw with another man was not Anna but Megan so she decides to find her partner to tell him that she was being unfaithful.

La actuación de Emily Blunt es simplemente maravillosa, ella logra transmitir la fragilidad y la desesperación de Rachel de una manera conmovedora y convincente, la historia de una mujer que vive con su adicción y que es víctima de su mente y sus recuerdos borrosos. Vemos cómo su personaje se debate entre la obsesión y la búsqueda de la verdad, mientras intenta mantener el control sobre su propia vida. Uno de los aspectos más destacados de la película es la forma en que se maneja la narrativa, podemos ver que a través de flashbacks, saltos en el tiempo y perspectivas múltiples, la historia se desenreda lentamente, manteniendo al espectador en suspenso hasta el sorprendente final, esto hizo que la película me gustara mucho más aunque hay que estar muy atentos para no perderle el hilo y entender lo que sucede después. La ambientación de la película también juega un papel fundamental, en el Londres suburbano, con sus calles grises y lluviosas, refleja perfectamente el estado emocional de Rachel. El tren se convierte en un personaje más, transportando a Rachel a través de su obsesión y sus recuerdos borrosos, además de la excelente actuación de Emily Blunt, el elenco secundario también brilla. Rebecca Ferguson como Anna, la exesposa de Tom, y Haley Bennett como Megan, la misteriosa mujer desaparecida, entregan interpretaciones memorables que complementan perfectamente la trama.

Emily Blunt's performance is simply wonderful, she manages to convey Rachel's fragility and desperation in a touching and convincing way, the story of a woman living with her addiction who is a victim of her mind and her blurred memories. We see how her character is torn between obsession and the search for the truth, as she tries to maintain control over her own life. One of the highlights of the film is the way the narrative is handled, we can see that through flashbacks, time jumps and multiple perspectives, the story slowly unravels, keeping the viewer in suspense until the surprising ending, this made me like the film much more although you have to be very attentive not to lose the thread and understand what happens next. The setting of the film also plays a fundamental role, in suburban London, with its gray and rainy streets, perfectly reflects Rachel's emotional state. The train becomes another character, transporting Rachel through her obsession and blurred memories, in addition to Emily Blunt's excellent performance, the supporting cast also shines. Rebecca Ferguson as Anna, Tom's ex-wife, and Haley Bennett as Megan, the mysterious missing woman, deliver memorable performances that perfectly complement the plot.

Esta película me gustó tanto que me pareció rápido el tiempo que pasó aunque su duración es de casi dos horas, no he leído el libro pero siento que es una de las mejores adaptaciones a películas que he visto ya que se mantiene fiel a lo que he visto del libro. Este género de thriller psicológico es ahora uno de mis favoritos y está historia me pareció muy original y poco valorada en el momento en que salió, los actores hicieron un trabajo excelente para que la película se sintiera tan llena de misterio e intriga, las escenas fueron grabadas de una manera en la que te sientes abrumado por los flashbacks que tiene Rachel y sentí mucha rabia cuando ya se estaba por terminar, aunque tuvo un buen final y eso es algo que agradezco porque cada una de las mujeres de esta historia tuvieron que pasar por situaciones tan difíciles que no merecían menos de lo que sucedió al final, tal vez a algunas personas no les gusto por qué todavía suele parecer poco creíble que una mujer pase por situaciones de maltrato fisico y psicológico y que no pida ayuda mientras esta en esta situación pero la verdad es que nadie puede juzgar la vida de los demás y sus formas de enfrentarse a las circunstancias. Si deseas ver una película entretenida, llena de suspenso, giros inesperados, dónde todos podrían ser el malo de la historia hasta que se revela la verdad, está película te podría gustar. 🍿😳

I liked this movie so much that it felt fast paced even though its running time is almost two hours, I haven't read the book but I feel it is one of the best movie adaptations I have seen as it stays true to what I have seen of the book. This genre of psychological thriller is now one of my favorites and I found this story very original and underrated at the time it came out, the actors did an excellent job to make the movie feel so full of mystery and intrigue, the scenes were shot in a way where you feel overwhelmed by the flashbacks Rachel has and I felt very angry when it was about to end, although it had a good ending and that is something I am grateful for because each of the women in this story had to go through such difficult situations that they did not deserve less than what happened at the end, maybe some people did not like it because it still often seems not credible that a woman goes through situations of physical and psychological abuse and does not ask for help while in this situation but the truth is that no one can judge the lives of others and their ways of coping with the circumstances. If you want to see an entertaining movie, full of suspense, unexpected twists, where everyone could be the bad guy in the story until the truth is revealed, you might like this movie. 🍿😳
