Hocus Pocus 2

Hocus Pocus 2 is a disgrace that should not have seen the light of day at any time, it is a boring film that lacks imagination and innovation, furthermore, the fact that it reused many elements from the first installment (Which was of average quality) does not It helps you at all. It is for all the above that it deserves 1 star out of 7, the only good thing it has are some rare funny moments that are not good enough to recommend it and make you waste your time with this nonsense.

Review: Minari | Poignant Story of the Real American Dream

And speaking a little bit about the pacing, I understand that this movie is definitely not for everyone... it's mostly in Korean, with some English here and there, and it's actually a little slow, but if you're like me and appreciate movies that take their time, that really captivate you, or show you little important moments... if you like this, well, you're going to love it. I feel like every detail feels very intentional, from the father learning a few things, like the challenges of farming, to the quiet strength of the mother, as she supports her husband by keeping his feet on the ground... it all feels very well crafted, with a lot of care. It's as if the director wants us to feel every part of their struggle and failure, everything this family has gone through on their long journey, in a very genuine and direct way.

ELVIS [2022] - Review

Far from criticizing his crazy life, I think that what happened to Elvis happens to many people, the desire to get out of poverty, wanting to fulfill your dreams, trusting the wrong people, everything happens. However, taking a risk is part of that process that we all need to face to achieve our dreams, it's all or nothing, Elvis did it, did he lose? did he win? could his life have been different? We will never know, except for the fact that he was and will remain the King of Rock and Roll.

Furthermore, all this becomes more intense when someone manages to kidnap this politician's wife and lets him know through a phone call where he tells him that he will kill his wife. He does not believe him because no one knows his wife's face. So he thinks it's a joke but later he realizes the truth and the threatening calls keep coming.

Severance - If you like sci-fi with drama, this series is for you

So we have the masterful performances of Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Patricia Arquette and the super well known first Hollywood actor Christopher Walken among other faces like John Turturro who plays an extraordinary role. The first season of this series premiered in the year 2022 so I have 2 years waiting for the second season, but the great thing about all this is that as I had so long that I saw it this week I reviewed all the chapters and it was like watching it again, there were details that I forgot and as the second season is finally coming which excites me a lot, I wanted to be fresh for January 17, 2025 where will be its premiere date.

Kill - Movie Review

The script written by the same Nagesh Bhat with Ayesha Syed shows us in the first 30 minutes a story that with certain changes would be a romantic comedy and action, but as it changes we have in more than an hour, an extremely violent film and although it sounds strange, the violence in this film is justified; I believe that by working in many other genres, the director was able to create an exceptional balance with respect to romance, drama, action and horror, yes, in this film there are certain elements of horror in scenes where his characters are victims of bad people, but along with all these features, there is an exposure to the use of morality depending on the point of view of a large group of criminals and a security agent.

MOVIE REVIEW: “Civil War” (2024)

In the midst of a central government that is collapsing, the new American nation is experiencing something never seen before. The technical production does its utmost to convey this feeling of imminent chaos, and when it actually arrives, there is a true pyrotechnic spectacle full of gunshots and explosions everywhere (generating a lot of destruction and a bloodbath that leaves a trail of limitless violence). A very well-done job, full of practicality in its effects, demonstrating that A24, despite having spent a lot of money here, opted for a more realistic and visceral essence. This was another great positive point of the movie, because it ends up being something rawer and more sentimental (something that totally matches the atmosphere established within the project since its initial, more tense moments).
