movies-and-tv-shows.png

Hello! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve both interaction and curation in the Movies and TV Shows Community, this post is one of many to highlight and boost members of the past week that have posted what we believe is exceptional content.

The Details

Each week, our Moderators will monitor the posts within the Movies and TV Shows Community and handpick the ones that are believed to stand out under numerous factors: post quality, length, and subject.

There are no entry requirements, and this is not a contest, but simply a roundup intended to provide additional exposure to all of you for your efforts. Just have fun posting in the Movies & TV Shows Community and five or more posts will be chosen frequently.

A helpful resource for understanding House of the Dragon

In addition to having this family tree view that allows us all to see how the various characters are intertwined we also can click on each character to get a bit of detailed information on each of them including characters that are only referenced by name, but don't actually every appear on screen.

Space Novel

From my perspective it is not to die with laughter, but it will make you laugh with some of its points and also think a little about how sometimes we annul ourselves to fit into the system, denying all or part of what makes us unique, but this is not the only message, also the value of being honest, because as expected the protagonist is discovered and expelled, but in the end it turns out that her way of being out of the ordinary and her contacts allow her to make her dream come true.

The Bad Seed: La Mejor Actuación de Mckenna Grace

I loved her performance because it conveyed fear, and made me think the same as her nanny when they met (yes, there is a nanny who takes care of her at some point). And well, she's a girl who holds a lot of surprises, unfortunately bad ones.

Film Review: More Than Blue (2009)

K's illness is terminal cancer and we can see how he fights against what he feels for Cream, which is more than a friendship and at the same time having to say goodbye to the life he had to live full of abandonment and much suffering, now that he knows he will no longer be able to take care of Cream he only wishes she can be happy without him and have her own family to take care of her. The decision to lie to her is not an easy one, but you can understand that the last thing anyone would want to tell the person they love the most is that you are going to die and cause them even more pain than they are already carrying in their hearts. It is quite common to see in Asian movies or dramas that this kind of topics like diseases are mentioned and I feel that they show it in a very human and realistic way except for some that have a happy ending but in this case it didn't have one and I cried a little but above all I was surprised by the ending because I didn't expect it to end that way.

Where I Go, You Go: Inside Out 2 (2024)

Everything is under control. In the beginning, we see a teenage Riley totally happy and focused on her dream. Riley's emotions give us a little summary of how much her beloved "little girl" has changed and improved, not knowing that everything will change literally overnight. For those of us who live with Anxiety, we know that it can come when we least expect it, how cruel it can be and how much it can change us in those moments when you have those catastrophic thoughts between your eyebrows. Those same thoughts make our mind completely change its behavior, affecting not only what we think but also what we do and generate around us. That's what we see in the film, no matter what our fundamental pillars collapse, Anxiety makes the sufferer become someone she believes is better for her own good.

Valeria || And which one are you? || Review ||

I say that I identified with her because on many occasions I have felt the same way since I have had behaviors to demonstrate security but deep down, what I cry out for is help before the damage I do to myself Have you ever been there? Well, you have to watch the series to know what I'm talking about.

Niñera a la fuerza: ¡Sonríe Molly!

When I watch this film, I remember Brittany's story, my husband told me that she died, a few months after her boyfriend also died, both from respiratory illness, I don't know how true that is. The fact is that a few years after this film, she passed away and I regret that, because I think she was good at what she did and roles like Molly's suited her style very well.

Under the Tuscan Sun (2003): Who wouldn't like to do that? | ¿a quién no le gustaría hacer eso?

Frances doesn't want to buy just to buy: she wants to live there. And that means starting over, transplanting herself to a new land in which to put down the roots that were somewhat exposed after the divorce. It may seem to some like the whim of an emotionally disturbed woman who is not thinking clearly - especially since the house requires a large investment to be in proper condition - but it's more than that. It's not about a pair of shoes, or even four walls, but about a new life and who wouldn't want to start a new life in Italian Tuscany?

Axel F. on Netflix - I totally enjoyed it - should have been a cinema-movie!

Yesterday I brought my kids here and there and came home, ready to work. Then it came to my mind that the new Axel F. movie just hit Netflix, and as a big fan of the first three movies, I thought I'd watch the first thirty minutes and then finish the rest in the evening. Well, I did watch the first thirty minutes, but I didn't manage to stop, so I watched it all at once and I had a great time doing so!
