Movies & TV Shows Community Highlight #852
Hello! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve both interaction and curation in the Movies and TV Shows Community, this post is one of many to highlight and boost members of the past week that have posted what we believe is exceptional content.
The Details
Each week, our Moderators will monitor the posts within the Movies and TV Shows Community and handpick the ones that are believed to stand out under numerous factors: post quality, length, and subject.
There are no entry requirements, and this is not a contest, but simply a roundup intended to provide additional exposure to all of you for your efforts. Just have fun posting in the Movies & TV Shows Community and five or more posts will be chosen frequently.

I liked the film, I enjoyed it a lot, each one acted as they were, that is, Hayes did make his comments typical of a twenty-something and Soléne always with more sentimentality, more serenity and obviously more mature, but they make it work, which The only thing that seemed unnecessary to me was that ending 5 years later because the criticisms are going to be the same today as they were in 5 years, he is still famous and she is still 16 years older than him, I feel like they could have made a better ending.

To be honest, there are situations and some details that make it a little absurd, but I think this is the essence of many films of this genre and in the end I did not mind because it fulfilled its mission of making me laugh, it had a nice love story X2 and on top of that it managed to move me towards the end. Excellent service.

I won't deny that this film has a very unpredictable feel to it, as the script presents us with unexpected situations at every turn, so the (real life narration) factor is more present in this film than a cartoon children's adventure.

In short, this film, which is already 19 years old, managed to keep me attentive to the screen, as I wanted to know how far these men would go having become so obsessed with each other and by placing us in another historical moment as the early twentieth century caught my attention more. So, if you haven't seen it, as was my case, do it on the MAX platform.

I say Alisha is the spotlight of this movie. She was an eerie presence that with each of her scenes, there was impact. She became unforgettable. steals every scene. What I particularly enjoyed about her performance in this movie was her dancing, flexibility, her charm, and her ability to instantly switch between a charming innocence and unsettling eerie menace. This brought out the tension of the storyline. I say her performance was amazing!

It is very common that people confuse this condition with madness or some kind of mental retardation, but it is the opposite. Asperger's people are very intelligent and capable of solving any kind of riddle, they are very sensitive and have problems relating to strangers because they do not tolerate physical contact and loud noises.

A note to criticize is that just as I highlight all of the above because it does look like an artistic work or tries to be, I notice the forced inclusion that is always criticizable, fortunately the casting saves because you always have to see the acting work to judge and although in some cases it causes me rejection, there is a character in this story where that forced inclusion has been spectacular called Desire, I see the evil that transmits the actor in that character then I happy, but in other characters with inclusion because yes the series screams with despair.

I still recommend it if you like action and prison plots, I in particular don't love the action in the series but I do love the drama in a prison, as it tends to lead you towards emotions and the action scenes have their reasons and without realizing it you end up enjoying them.

Hereditary is a film that will stay with you long after the credits roll. It's a slow burn, but it's incredibly rewarding if you're patient enough to see it through. The masterful acting, disturbing imagery, and thought-provoking themes make it a must-watch for horror fans. But be warned, Hereditary is not for the faint of heart. It's a brutal and unsettling film that will leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about family and the darkness that can lurk beneath the surface. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on Hereditary. What did you find most disturbing? What interpretations did you have?

Ira Sachs has managed to create in Passages a story with a lot of strength and emotion. Tomas is an intense, sensitive, passionate, narcissistic, tormented character, who is also in the middle of a great confusion into which he drags Martin and Agathe. Only those who have loved with great dedication and have suffered for it will be able to understand that sometimes the best act of love we can do for someone is to let them go, or not to look for them or not to let them find us. Although it hurts both sides, sometimes the only salvation is distance. Some may find that the script makes some very abrupt cuts, moving from one situation to another without anything to smooth the transition to the new information revealed, but that creates a greater impact on the viewer and of course it's intentional. I think the characters feel very real, credible and alive, which gives depth to their emotions and their respective dramas and I also think that the ending was what it had to be, although some will probably have the feeling that they want to know. more of the story, that is, beyond after the end credits. Passages is currently available on MUBI, where you can also check out some more of the filmographies of Franz Rogowski and Adèle Exarchopoulos and where there are always films that are not on any other platform (for example, they now have Oldboy and Perfect Days), have any of you seen Passages? I read you in the comments.

A film that I had on my list for some time is Rebel Moon, I love science fiction and this film has the special spice that means the direction of Zack Snyder, a director with ups and downs and that in my opinion has had more successes than failures, in fact, there are times when this director has done a good job, but in terms of criticism is halfway. Because the second part of this saga is already available, I decided to see this first part and write my opinions.
Congratulations to everyone that was chosen, and thank you to everyone posting in Movies and TV Shows! We look forward to the next report and highlighting even more of you.
