Hello! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve both interaction and curation in the Movies and TV Shows Community, this post is one of many to highlight and boost members of the past week that have posted what we believe is exceptional content.

The Details

Each week, our Moderators will monitor the posts within the Movies and TV Shows Community and handpick the ones that are believed to stand out under numerous factors: post quality, length, and subject.

There are no entry requirements, and this is not a contest, but simply a roundup intended to provide additional exposure to all of you for your efforts. Just have fun posting in the Movies & TV Shows Community and five or more posts will be chosen frequently.

Habitaciones Rojas | A Journey to the Dark Side of Human Nature | 2023|

I liked the fact that no gore scenes are shown, but the sound is used, which sometimes causes more terror than the scene itself. The main character plays a great role in showing us her coldness and loneliness through her expressions. There is a key scene in the courtroom that makes your skin crawl.

Film Review: Sun Choke (2015) - A very disturbing psychological thriller.

"Sun Choke" is a psychological thriller film that explores the mind of its protagonist in a disturbing way. I found this film interesting, although I felt that there were many aspects left unresolved. It is understood that the protagonist suffers from a severe mental health problem, having at some point experienced a psychotic break in which she lost control. As a result, she has spent much of her life locked up in her home, becoming a sort of laboratory mouse for Irma, the woman who has taken over her care. Irma assures the protagonist that she cannot be well if she does not follow the treatment she imposes on her. However, as the plot progresses, we realize that these treatments are far from what a mental health expert would recommend and cause excessive discomfort in our protagonist. Despite this, she is confident that if she follows the treatment she will be able to achieve a normal life and rebuild herself, but Irma, who also has mental problems, has no intention of allowing her the freedom she so desires.

El Juego de la Muerte (Blue Whale) 2024 ǁ Opinion

Many times I have commented that I am a fan of suspense and horror movies, but seeing a film that is based on real events, I understand more and more that reality surpasses fiction and that there is no greater suspense or terror than what happens every day in the world.

Movie || ¿Y Donde Estan Las Rubias? - White Chicks 🎬

This is one of the few movies that over the years we keep repeating, this is one of them, I like the plot, the staging and the atmosphere is very attractive, the story draws attention, there are scenes that have become epic, I have many favorites but a special one is the competition at the disco where the Wilson sisters are victorious thanks to their forbidden steps. They say there will be a second part, let's hope it will be excellent.

REVIEW: The Burial (2023)

The struggle to preserve family legacies. Most people have a sense of ownership of the things they inherited from their ancestors. This intangible value makes them try to preserve them when they are in danger using different strategies. However, we know that not all of us have the gift of numbers, or personal relationships, or foresight or prudence. So, despite the best of intentions, we don't get it right, and it keeps slipping through our fingers. Still, they continue to struggle.

La Sociedad de la Nieve es una película que exalta la supervivencia humana

This film showed us different types of human strength, and also different types of thinking, which is a reality of humanity. In the face of adversity we can react in many ways, and each of these reactions will have its consequence, I think that beyond showing or remembering the unfortunate disaster that the Uruguayan players experienced, the production wants to show us how we can face adverse situations.

Documentary Review | You Are What You Eat: The Twin Experiment

Each series also highlighted the environmental issues created by maintaining different farms. For example, the Amazon forests are actively cut down to build new "pastures" for cows on those territories. After all, beef is in huge demand all over the world. But the truth is quite different. Cows don't live in their usual wild environment, they literally crowd into small patches of land eating high calorie foods. It's the same reality with chickens and pigs. It is profitable for farmers to quickly fatten up animals and the methods are absolutely not humanistic.

Armageddon without spoilers

From a scientific point of view the film has heavy problems in its plot to be able to give a solution to the Armageddon that the world is about to live, there is a solid explanation in the first act, with logic that goes down the drain when the film is reaching its climax. I mention this detail because it is the strong sensation that I perceived when I saw it recently and with the eyes of knowledge but this is a Blockbuster, the emotion and drama are the protagonists and this takes the film out of our atmosphere and keeps it as a star in the firmament.

Narco-Saint | review

As I watched each episode, it felt like I was up for an adrenaline rushing adventure everytime. My heart pounded at every scene specifically in episode three when Kang In-gu started his mission of entering the world of narcotics, with the ultimate goal of capturing Jeon Yo-hwan. It was tense game of cat-and-mouse. As he faced the unimaginable danger of getting caught and failing the mission, the scenes were also getting more in tense and it was the case up until the last episode.

"The Founder" by John Lee Hancock Review: A Beginning You Wouldn't Expect

I like it when Mac Donald is portrayed as a very nice guy, brother Dick at first was very strict but also turns out to be also a nice guy (I found some information that both of them are self-proclaimed nice guys). I was so curious when Mac invited Ray Kroc for a tour of the kitchen of McDonald's when the two brothers first me. I am wondering why Mac did it, most business owners today will not going to let anyone tour their kitchen (if they are in a fast-food or restaurant business, is it because they are nice guys? I do not know, maybe he doesn't know about "Secret of the Trade" or "Trade Secret".

Movie Review: La Sociedad de los Poetas Muertos/Dead Poets Society

The film has been very well received by critics and the general public. Many have praised the performance of Robin Williams as Mr. Keating, as well as the direction of Peter Weir. The film has also been praised for its inspirational message and its ability to move the viewer. The film was to be shot in Rome, Georgia, but then they decided to move to Delaware. The main reason for this was the snow, an essential element to recreate the campus in the best Anglo-Saxon style. It seems that in Georgia snow is very expensive to recreate and in Delaware it is free. The story was written by Tom Schulman, who also wrote "Dear, I Shrunk the Kids." Schulman based his plot on his own life experiences, including the most obvious reference was his time at Montgomery Bell Academy, a prep school in Nashville. In bringing "The Dead Poets Society " to film, he had to change some of the characters so that they didn't really resemble those in the actual story.
