From watching countless K-drama, one thing I noticed is that there are many dialogues mentioning that human is scarier than ghost. Safe to say, it seems culturally that's the notion in South Korea. Now, duty after school is a k-drama that shows you human is scarier than Alien. It is capable of killing its own and also make ridiculous policies and moves that ended up endangering others.

And though seemingly from asianwiki comments people love and hate this k-drama, I find it pretty amusing. It's absurd, illogical and also makes you grind your teeth just because the characters and its character development. It's not your typical happy ending k-drama that people love either.

Though the characters may seem childish, I think it's pretty justified that they are only highschoolers who are lied to and suddenly become a military officers who have to fend themselves and others from an outside threat which is the alien. Can you imagine you're suddenly being conscripted a few days before your most important exam?

In real life, you have the choice to leave and escape but in that k-drama, though resisting and tried to escape, they just couldn't. In the end, the watched their classmates and friends chopped up by alien. Even so, it took them a while before they realized how dire the situation was.

Throughout the whole series, it will make you feel annoyed and would really want to tell these students to kill the alien and grab any weapon they can. It was hard to watch but also entertaining and gripping at the same time.

It took me a few days finishing this K-drama as it was sometimes a bit difficult to watch. But I made it through and I would only recommend this if you're that bored and is looking for something new.

I am also finally subscribing to Viu and it has been something I missed in a while. Now, I am currently trying to finish taxi 2 while also searching for something new that's worth watching. It looks like I have missed on a few good series and reality shows from Viu. Either way, I'll write up my thoughts on Taxi driver 2 after finishing it.
