24-hour series. Chapter 1

It has been a long time since I stopped to watch a series or a movie, it is that the current movies are loaded with special effects and have left behind the naturalness that characterized them in the past, the series on the other hand maintain that attraction that keeps us attentive until the end.

This is what happened to me with the first episode of the series 24 hours, which I started watching a few days ago and today I want to share a short review with you.

Hacía mucho tiempo que no me detenía a ver una serie o una película, es que las películas actuales están cargadas de efectos especiales y han dejado atrás la naturalidad que las caracterizaba en el pasado, las series por el contrario mantienen esa atracción que nos mantiene atento hasta el final.

Así me paso con el primer capítulo de la serie 24 horas el cual comencé a ver hace algunos días y hoy quiero compartir una pequeña reseña con ustedes.

The series as I mentioned before is called 24 hours and this name is due to the fact that the entire plot takes place on the day of the presidential election of Senator David Palmer, in chapter 1 the events occur between midnight and 1 am where personal security agents receive a call that there will be an assassination attempt on the senator during his speech to the voters.

La serie como les comenté anteriormente se llama 24 horas y este nombre de debe a que toda la trama se desarrolla en el día de las elecciones presidenciales del senador David Palmer, en el capítulo 1 los sucesos ocurren entre la media noche y la 1 am donde los agentes de seguridad personal reciben una llamada que habrá un intento de asesinato sobre el senador durante su discurso a los electores.

There is another plot that develops around the family of security agent Jack Pawer, Jack had serious problems with his wife and was trying to rescue his marriage, being at home with his wife and daughter he receives an urgent call from his office by Nina, the second in command agent in the central security office.

Hay otra trama que se desarrolla alrededor de la familia del agente de seguridad Jack Pawer, Jack tenia serios problemas con su esposa y estaba intentando rescatar su matrimonio, estando en su casa con su esposa e hija recibe una llamada urgente de su oficina por Nina, la segunda agente al mando en la oficina central de seguridad.

As Jack prepares to go to his office, he and his wife talk about their daughter and decide to go to her room to see her, but when they enter, she has escaped through the window.

Mientras Jack se prepara para ir a su oficina conversa con su esposa sobre su hija deciden ir a su cuarto a verla y cuando entran esta se había escapado por la ventana.

The daughter had gone with a friend to meet some young people they barely knew to party and have a good time, however, something unexpected happened, read on and I will tell you about it later.

La hija había ido con una amiga a conocer unos jóvenes que apenas conocían para festejar y pasarla bien, sin embargo, ocurrió algo inesperado, sigue leyendo más adelante te lo contare.

When Jack arrived at the office Mr. Wol was waiting for him, he was Jack's boss from the higher command and he met with all the members to tell them about the attack on the president, once everyone left he told Jack to stay and told him that he could not trust anyone that there were infiltrators from his office involved in the attack on the president and that he had to find him.

Cuando Jack llega a la oficina lo espera el señor Wol, este era el jefe de Jack del mando superior y se reunió con todos los miembros para comunicarles sobre el atentado al presidente, una vez que todos salieron le dijo a Jack que se quedara y le comento que no podía confiar en nadie que habían infiltrados de su oficina involucrados en el atentado al presidente y que él tenía que encontrarlo.

Finally, Mr. Wol tells Jack how difficult it was to track down the alleged assassin, who was already on his way in a plane under the guise of a photographer to participate in the president's meeting.

Por último, el señor Wol le comenta a Jack lo difícil que era rastrear al presunto asesino, el cual ya venía en camino en un avión bajo la fachada de fotógrafo para participar en el meeting del presidente.

Meanwhile, Jack's daughter's mother receives a call from the father of the friend that Kimberly (Jack's daughter) had been dating telling her that he was worried about her daughter who had run away with some friends and that if she knew anything she should call him as it was very likely that the two of them were together.

Mientras tanto la madre de la hija de Jack recibe una llamada del padre de la amiga con la que había salido Kimberly (la hija de Jack) diciéndole que estaba preocupado por su hija que se había escapado con unos amigos y que si sabía algo que lo llamara que era muy probable que ellas dos anduvieran juntas.

Meanwhile Jack kept constantly calling his wife from his office and trying to find some clue as to where his daughter Kimberly had gone.

Mientras tanto Jack se mantenía constantemente llamando de su oficina a su esposa y tratando de encontrar alguna pista que le dijera hacia donde había salido su hija Kimberly.

On the other hand, Senator David Palmer receives a call after 12 am from a senator named Morry which makes him very upset and he tells Morry that he wants that information urgently but nothing is clear up to that point what the call is about.

Por otro lado, el senador David Palmer recibe una llamada después de las 12 am de un senador llamado Morry la cual lo pone muy molesto y le dice a Morry que quiere esa información con urgencia pero no se sabe nada con claridad hasta ese momento de que se trata dicha llamada.

Up to this point we have four plots in the series, Kimberly's parents worried about her escape, Kimberly at the party with some friends she doesn't know well, the assassin who is a sniper and is going to participate in the senate event as a photographer and the plot of Senator David with his family and the call he receives after 12 am.

Hasta este momento tenemos cuatro tramas en la serie, los padres de Kimberly preocupados por escapada, Kimberly en la fiesta con unos amigos que no conoce bien, el asesino que es un francotirador y va a participar en al acto del senado como fotógrafo y la trama del senador David con su familia y la llamada que recibe después de las 12 am.

They are with me, then we continue......

We go back to the scene with Kimberly's mother she calls Janet's father remember this is the friend that Kimberly went out with and she tells Yanet's father that she found an email where they were both going to meet some friends in the valley and that she is going to go pick them up, Yanet's father who is called Alán Yord tells her that he is going to pick her up and that they will both go together to pick them up.

Están conmigo, entonces continuamos……

Volvemos con la escena de la madre de Kimberly ella llama al padre de Janet recuerden que esta es la amiga con que salió Kimberly y le dice al padre de Yanet que encontró un correo donde ambas se iban a ver con unos amigos en el valle y que ella va a ir a buscarlas, el padre de Yanet que se llama Alán Yord le dice que va a pasar a recogerla y que ambos irán juntos por ellas.

Jack was constantly calling his wife from the security office and asking her about his daughter. When he learned that his wife had left in the car with a stranger (Adam Yord) to pick up his daughter, he was very worried.

Jack se mantenía constante mente llamando a su esposa desde la oficina de seguridad y preguntándole por su hija, cuando supo que su esposa había salido en el auto con un desconocido (Adán Yord) a buscar a su hija se quedó muy preocupado.

Remember that I left a question about Kimberly's party, well it turns out that it was not just a party, but apparently up to this point it was a planned kidnapping of Jack's daughter, which in the next chapters we will see what they tell us about it.

Recuerdan que les deje una interrogante sobre la fiesta de Kimberly, bueno resulta que no era una simple fiesta, sino que al parecer hasta este momento era un secuestro planificado sobre la hija de Jack, que en los próximos capítulos veremos que nos dicen al respecto.
