Einstein and the bomb
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe. -Albert Einstein. We have all heard this popular phrase from this brilliant physicist, some know him best for enlightening us with his theory of relativity or some will remember him for introducing the equation E=mc2.
I admit that as a teenager I was not very interested in knowing about Einstein's life, in addition to the fact that this man was mentioned on very minimal occasions in my classes. Today while walking through Netflix I found this documentary where they claim that the phrases that are in it are phrases written/said by Einstein himself at some point in his life.
Hay dos cosas infinitas: el universo y la estupidez humana. Y del universo no estoy seguro -Albert Einstein. Todos hemos escuchado esta frase popular de este brillante físico, algunos lo conocen mejor por iluminarnos con su teoría de la relatividad o algunos lo recordarán por introducir la ecuación E=mc2.
Admito que de adolescentes no me interesó mucho saber sobre la vida de Einstein además de que en mis clases en ocasiones muy mínima se mencionó a este hombre. Hoy paseando por Netflix me encuentro este documental dónde aseguran que las frases que están en el son frases fichas por el mismo Einstein en algún momento de su vida.

Although this documentary is not to show us his polite words but to show how Einstein's participation was in the creation of nuclear energy and in the indirect creation of a nuclear bomb, where Hiroshima suffered the consequences.

Einstein declared himself a pacifist, who had to flee Germany to defend his rights, first in England and then in the United States. In this documentary they show us this entire process that Einstein went through and how someone with such a brilliant mind brought the downfall of a town, without knowing it. This man thought that his work would remain theories for years and he thought that the creation of nuclear energy and these weapons would be something that he would not be able to see in his life, since at a certain point, we could say that he underestimated the human being and his ability.
From Einstein's initial work, it was believed that Germany was preparing what would be atomic weapons, since in previous years the nuclear chain reaction (explosions) had been discovered by another scientist. As the years went by, German scientists seemed be going in the same direction, the news reached Einstein, which alerted him greatly, at that time he was residing in the United States, and in a fight to defend the safety of the people he decided to write a letter to President Roosevelt, this being the start of everything.
This is an invitation to appreciate the documentary, how accurate it may be I couldn't say but in a way it was educational. However, it can be said that it is the same information that has been circulating on the internet, I mean if you stop to look for Albert Einstein, the information in the documentary will coincide with what we can find on some websites. I have always thought that the United States does more harm than we imagine, behind the fantasy and the American dream, the true perdition is hidden.
Einstein se declaró a si mismo un pacifista, quien tuvo que huir de Alemania para defender sus derechos primero estuvo en Inglaterra y luego en Estados Unidos. En este documental nos muestran todo este proceso que atravesó Einstein y como alguien con una mente tan brillante trajo la perdición de un pueblo, sin saberlo. Este hombre pensaba que su trabajo se quedaría en teorías por años y pensaba que la creación de la energía nuclear y de estas armas serían algo que no lograría ver en su vida, ya que en cierto punto, podríamos decir que subestimó al ser humano y su capacidad.
A partir del trabajo inicial de Einstein se creyó que en Alemania estaban preparando lo que serían las armas atómicas, ya que años anteriores se había descubierto por otro científico la reacción nuclear en cadena (explosiones), con el paso de los años los científicos alemanes parecían estar yendo en la misma dirección, las noticias llegaron a Einstein, lo cual lo alertó muchísimo, en ese entonces estaba residiendo en Estados Unidos, y en una lucha por defender la seguridad de las personas decidió redactar una carta al presidente Roosevelt, siendo esto el inicio de todo.
Esta es una invitación a apreciar el documental, que tan preciso puede ser no sabría decirlo pero de cierto forma fue educativo. Sin embargo, se puede decir que es la misma información que ha estado circulando en la internet, me refiero si te detienes a buscar Albert Einstein, la información del documental coincidirá con la que podamos encontrar en algunas web. Siempre he pensado que los Estados Unidos hace más daño de lo que imaginamos, detrás de la fantasía y el sueño americano, se esconde la verdadera perdición.

We've been studying his theories in books of physics. He is no doubt a genius. Thank you for bringing out his documentary. I'll surely watch this to have the idea of the life events and thought process of this genius.
