Hello everyone! I hope you are feeling great today. I want to share with you my opinions about the movie Tár, which surprised me in a way I didn't really expect. From the reviews I had heard...the nominations it had, and clearly the talent of its leading lady, I had high expectations, and I guess I did feel when I watched this movie shortly after it started, that this would be a very complex journey. The story is about Lydia Tar, a world renowned composer and conductor, and she is played by the talented Cate Blanchett, this actress completely immerses herself in her character... and gives us a performance that I found very interesting! One thing I noticed is that you have to pay a lot of attention to the movie, it's not like other movies where you can be on the phone or talking to someone, because you will still understand...

This work demands your total concentration, so that you can appreciate and understand its nuanced narrative. We will know a very critical moment in Lydia's career, when certain rumors or scandals begin to emerge that threaten to crumble all her professional and personal life... The film handles these issues very delicately, but even so there are no easy solutions, there is a lot of tension in the scenes, and you can feel the importance of it all.

Hola a todos! Espero que se encuentren genial el día de hoy. Quiero compartirles mis opiniones sobre la película Tár, la cual me sorprendió de una manera que realmente no esperaba. Por las reseñas que había escuchado.. las nominaciones que tuvo, y claramente el talento de su protagonista, tenía muchas expectativas, y creo que sí sentí cuando miraba esta película a poco tiempo de empezar, que este sería un viaje muy complejo. La historia trata sobre Lydia Tar, una compositora y directora de orquesta de mucho renombre mundial, y es interpretada por la talentosa Cate Blanchett, esta actriz se sumerge completamente en su personaje.. y nos da una actuación que me pareció muy interesante! Una que note es que tienes que prestarle mucha atención a la película, no es como esas otras que puedes estar con el teléfono o hablando con alguien, porque de igual manera vas a entender..

Esta obra demanda tu concentración total, para que logres apreciar y entender su narrativa llena de matices. Conoceremos un momento muy crítico en la carrera de Lydia, cuando comienzan a surgir ciertos rumores o escándalos que amenazan con desmoronar toda su vida profesional, y personal.. La película maneja esos temas con mucha delicadeza, pero aun así no hay soluciones fáciles, hay mucha tensión en las escenas, y puedes sentir la importancia de todo esto.

Among the things I enjoyed most about this film, was the way classical music is approached. The dialogues about music theory and composition, although they can be a bit boring, are very well written, you can watch them even without understanding the terms, but you feel all the passion and knowledge behind each word.... There is a lot of attention to detail in these aspects, everything about the music in general, not only adds authenticity to the story they want to tell us, but also pushes the movie to a level of artistry that is rare to find nowadays... With amazing direction, there are some incredible shots!

The professionalism of the director is very noticeable, for example the opening shot of this film sets the tone of the film in an excellent way, and also introduces more symbols that you soon discover will be explored later on... Surely there are many more hidden details, it can be interesting to try to find them, so surely if you want to watch this film more than once, you will surely notice some of them.

Entre las cosas que más disfrute de esta película, fue la manera en la que se aborda la música clásica. Los diálogos sobre teoría musical y composición, aunque pueden tocar un poco el aburrimiento.. están muy bien escritos, puedes verlos aun sin entender los términos, pero sientes toda la pasión y el conocimiento detrás de cada palabra.. Hay mucha atención al detalle en estos aspectos, todo lo relacionado a la música en general, no solo añade autenticidad a la historia que nos quieren contar, sino también impulsa a la película a un nivel de arte que es raro encontrar actualmente.. Con una increíble dirección, hay planos muy increíbles!

Se nota mucho el profesionalismo del director, por ejemplo el primer plano inicio de esta cinta, establece el tono de la película de una manera excelente, y también introduce más símbolos que pronto descubres que se explorarán más adelante.. Seguramente hay muchos más detalles escondidos, puede ser interesante tratar de encontrarlos, por lo que seguramente si desean ver esta película más de una vez, seguro se darán de cuenta de algunos.

The color palette, as well as more or less dark tones and dim lighting, contribute a lot to create an oppressive and immersive atmosphere. Each frame seems to be carefully planned to reflect the emotional state of the characters... especially that of the protagonist. The cinematography, together with the incredible music, make you feel completely inside these characters, you can perfectly feel their anxiety, their despair, and finally their downfall. One of the most interesting parts, is that idea of the separation between the author, the artist and his work.

In a time where the cancellation culture is at its peak, this film invites us to think, to reflect and to question our own beliefs. Can we appreciate art without considering the actions of its creator? The film does not offer you an exact answer, or an easy one... but rather it poses these questions so that you can reflect on them yourself, seeing both sides of the same coin. Without a doubt, Cate Blanchett is the heart of the movie... Her performance is multifaceted and full of passion. She is strong, and at the same time vulnerable... admired, and hated. She manages to capture all these facets with great precision, a spectacular performance. She is very deserving of all the recognition and award nominations she received.

La paleta de colores, así con unos tonos más o menos oscuros y una iluminación tenue, contribuyen mucho a crear una atmósfera opresiva e inmersiva. Cada encuadre parece estar cuidadosamente planeado para reflejar el estado emocional de los personajes.. especialmente el de la protagonista. La fotografía, junto a la increíble música, te hacen sentir completamente dentro de estos personajes, puedes sentir perfectamente su ansiedad, su desesperación, y finalmente su caída. Una de las partes más interesantes, es esa idea de la separación entre el autor, el artista y su obra.

En un tiempo donde la cultura de la cancelación está en su apogeo, esta película nos invita a pensar, a reflexionar y a cuestionar nuestras propias creencias. ¿Podemos apreciar el arte sin considerar las acciones de su creador? La película no te ofrece una respuesta exacta, o fácil.. sino que te plantea estás cosas para que tú mismo puedas reflexionar al respecto, viendo las dos caras de la misma moneda. Sin duda, Cate Blanchett, es el corazón de la película.. Su interpretación es multifacética, y llena pasión. Es fuerte, y al mismo tiempo vulnerable.. admirada, y odiada. Logra capturar todas estas facetas con mucha precisión, una actuación espectacular. Merece mucho todo el reconocimiento y nominaciones a premios que obtuvo.

In addition to the leading lady, the supporting cast also does very well. Noemi Merlant and Nina Hoss deliver very solid performances that serve to support Blanchett perfectly. Every interaction between these characters is filled with their text... which adds that touch of collusion to the plot. With haunting, and beautiful compositions, with great performances and wonderfully staged, I still feel that it is not a film for all audiences, nor will it surely please everyone.. It is a film that touches a lot the psychology of its main character, which requires patience to be able to enjoy it... But I'm sure that if you invest a little effort and time, the reward is very good...

I liked it a lot, I saw it on a Sunday where I didn't have many plans, so I could take my time without thinking about many things, and I think this position is the best to watch this movie. It can certainly make you think about the issues it addresses, and all the emotions that are perceived. I give it a rating of 8/10. Además de la protagonista, el reparto de apoyo también lo hace muy buen. Noemí Merlant y Nina Hoss ofrecen actuaciones muy sólidas que sirven para apoyar perfectamente a Blanchett. Cada interacción entre estos personajes está llena de su texto.. lo que le añade ese toque de confabulación a la trama. Con composiciones inquietantes, y hermosas, con grandes actuaciones y puestas en escena de maravilla, aun así considero que no es una película para todos los públicos, ni seguramente agradará a todos.. Es una película que toca mucho la psicología de su personaje principal, que requiere paciencia para poder disfrutarla.. Pero estoy seguro que si está en ti, invertir un poco de esfuerzo y tiempos, la recompensa es muy buena..

A mí me gustó mucho, la vi un domingo donde no tenía muchos planes, por lo que pude tomarme mi tiempo sin pensar en muchas cosas, y creo que esta posición es la mejor para ver esta película. Sin duda puede hacerte reflexionar sobre los temas que aborda, y todas las emociones que se perciben. Le doy una calificación de 8/10.
