Currently being discussed, a drama that is said to be able to entertain in February. As we know that February is called the month full of love, so, it is not uncommon for people to wait for this month to find their favorite love drama. Since the beginning of the year, I have been waiting for a drama from South Korea, of course because there is Park Bo-Young.

Melo Movie (2025), tells the story of a romance between two young people who are living their lives, but their story becomes very interesting because of the intrigue. Park Bo-Young plays Kim Moo-bi and Choi Woo-shik as a man named Ko Gyeom. Almost similar to the story of Our Beloved Summer with shots and settings about love, like spring with lots of flowers.

The two lovers who broke up for almost 5 years did not meet, I even thought Ko Gyeom disappeared as if swallowed by the earth. Kim Moo-bi hopes he is dead and will not return, but Ko Gyeom comes again and takes Moo-bi's heart and then turns around.

This series consists of 10 episodes, but I almost cried in almost every episode, especially in episode 7 to the end. Why is this kdrama so sad? I thought this was an ordinary romance drama, but it turned out to be far from it. No, this is not even said to be about young love but love for whoever you love in your life.

Do you have someone you love besides your partner? Of course. Everyone has their own love. This kdrama is much deeper in showing a love story. I think they raise many stories, especially the psychological condition of someone when left by their loved one because they disappear or maybe die.

Which love story is more painful if separated between death? When longing has to collide with a body that is no longer in this world? How can we live without the one we love? Or even how to live a day without the one we love?

This kdrama also raises the issue of mental health. Although it is not shown directly, the delivery is very precise and invisible. I can see how Kim-Moobi who bury his feelings of guilt over his father's death and then that triggers his character later on which makes him persist in showing his father that he can do what he should do.

This Kdrama is not only a story about two lovers, because there is another couple whose love story is even more exciting. Two people who have ambitions but have to give up their relationship for success, will it work?

I think you should watch this, a kdrama that has a light but deep story. Like water in the ocean without waves, but you can drown in it.
