Rebel Ridge | Review [ENG |ESP]
A story that starts well, entertaining, but nothing is what it promises.
Una historia que empieza bien, entretenida, pero nada es lo que promete.
I got carried away again by the reviews and the trailer, I thought it looks good, and with a lot of action, as I like, but what do you think, nothing is what it seems...
The movie Rebel Ridge, shows us a rebellious man who arrives in a town to pay the bail of his cousin who was unjustly arrested, but on the way he is stopped by some policemen, who confiscate the money, and it will cause him conflicts with the law.
Everything starts like this, calmly, slowly, and the protagonist of this story is shown as a calm man, of course somewhat upset by what is happening, what these policemen did to him, that is why he tries to reach an agreement with them, to recover part of the money and thus help his cousin; but as is the law, they do what they want, they have the power and control of everything.
I think that this is practically the message that is conveyed to us in this film, those who work with the government, with the law, believe themselves to be the owners of everything, and no one can contradict them or confront them.
In this case, this man who seemed calm, trying to avoid violence, was forced to react, when he found so many injustices, abuses, not only with him but with the people who tried to help him, and as they say, the innocent are always the ones who pay and get the worst part.
Back to the protagonist, the role is played by actor Aaron Pierre, a black man, robust, strong, with an intense look, as I mentioned, he appears calm, trying to keep control with everything that was happening to him, however, he could not help it any longer, and literally exploded.
I won't deny it, the story is interesting, with this message, but it seemed a bit long to me, for something that could have been summarized and presented in another way, as they always leave the action for the end.
And it all starts like this, a lot of slow, dissolving scenes, when you think something is going to happen emotionally, it falls short, and you stay there, waiting for the end, to see if it moves a little more, and yes of course, it happens, not how you imagined it, but hey, something is something.
It could have been better... maybe, I'm not saying it was bad, but I definitely wouldn't watch it again.
Well, that's my opinion on this film, I won't say more, I invite you to watch it and make up your own mind, maybe I demanded more, but that was the objective of the plot, what I can tell you is that wherever we look there is corruption, theft, injustice, and if it could be resolved how this man acted, well the world would be different, but we have to know how to identify the good guys from the bad guys.

Me deje llevar nuevamente por las reseñas y el tráiler, pensé se ve buena, y con mucha acción, cómo a mí me gusta, pero que creen, nada es lo que parece...
La película Rebel Ridge, nos muestra un hombre rebelde que llega a un pueblo para pagar la fianza de su primo el cuál fue detenido injustamente, pero en el camino es detenido por unos policías, los cuales les confiscan el dinero, y le causará conflictos con la justicia.
Todo empieza así, con calma, lento, y es que el protagonista de esta historia se muestra cómo un hombre tranquilo, claro algo molesto por lo que está pasando, lo que le hicieron estos policías, por eso el trata de llegar a un acuerdo con ellos, para recuperar parte del dinero y así ayudar a su primo; pero cómo es la ley, ellos hacen lo que les da la gana, tienen el poder y control de todo.
Pienso que prácticamente esto es el mensaje que nos transmiten en esta película, los que trabajan con el gobierno, con la ley se creen los dueños de todo, y nadie puede llevarles la contraria o enfrentarlos.
En este caso, este hombre que se veía tranquilo, tratando de evitar la violencia, se vio obligado a reaccionar, al encontrarse con tantas injusticias, atropellos, no sólo con él sino con las personas que trataban de ayudarlo, y cómo dicen por allí, los inocentes son siempre los que pagan y llevan la peor parte.
Volviendo al protagonista, el papel es protagonizado por el actor Aaron Pierre, un hombre de color, robusto, fuerte, con una mirada intensa, cómo mencioné, se muestra todo calmado, tratando de mantener el control con todo lo que le estaba pasando, sin embargo, no pudo evitarlo más, y literalmente explotó.
No les niego, la historia se muestra interesante, con este mensaje, pero me pareció un poco larga, para algo que se pudo resumir y presentar de otra forma, cómo siempre dejan la acción para el final.
Y es que todo empieza así, mucha escenas lentas, disueltas, cuando crees que va a pasar algo emocionante, se queda corta, y te quedas allí, esperando el final, a ver si se mueve un poco más, y si claro, sucede, no cómo te lo imaginaste, pero bueno algo es algo.
Pudo ser mejor... quizás, no digo que fue mala, pero definitivamente no la volvería a ver.
Bueno hasta aquí mi opinión sobre esta película, no les diré más, los invito a verla y que emitan su propia opinión, quizás yo exigí más, pero esa era el objetivo de la trama,lo que sí les puedo decir, que a dónde miremos existe la corrupción, el robo, las injusticias, y si pudieran resolverse cómo este hombre actuó, bueno elmundo sería otro, pero hay que saber identificar a los buenos de los malos.

Mira las películas de Netflix, en su mayoría son así. Parecen ser buenas pero en realidad son malas y dejan con mucho que desear al espectador. Me pasó así con una de Jessica Alba que tenía tiempo sin ver, el trailer se veía buenisimo pero al verla quedé asi como que: Meh! Saludos! 💕
