El Hoyo y el Hoyo 2, dos buenas opciones para ver [ESP-ENG]

Saludos estimados amigos de Movies and TV Shows,
Hace unos días vi la promoción del Hoyo 2 y me llamó la atención que sonaba fuerte entre las tendencias, así que esto me tentó a verla. Cuando comencé a verla, supe de inmediato que para entenderla tenía que comenzar por el principio, ver el Hoyo para poder seguir con la secuela de esta película de ciencia ficción y thriller.
Quienes eligen estar en el hoyo, lo hacen para saldar una culpa u olvidar una pena, estar arrepentidos, tal vez?. Lo cierto es que tienen la opción de ingresar a este recinto en lugar de ir a una cárcel, un hospital psiquiátrico o hacer labores comunitarias. Parece fácil estar en un lugar tranquilo con otro compañero y solo esperar a que llegue la comida, supuestamente comer lo que puedas. Además, en este lúgubre lugar se te permite llevar un artículo, quizás para distraerte. Yo misma llegué a pensar “qué fácil es permanecer en ese hoyo”, cualquiera podría pagar por un crimen que haya cometido, pero las cosas no son tan simples como parecen.
El hoyo no es más que un edifico conformado por varios pisos, con un agujero en medio de forma cuadrada donde una plataforma de la misma configuración geométrica viaja desde los pisos superiores hasta los inferiores con una cantidad cuantiosa de comida. Antes de entrar al hoyo, los seleccionados para el reto son entrevistados para conocer sus gustos y disgustos por la comida, como alergias y la comida que más les gusta, así que en esa plataforma verán bajar su comida favorita en el menú. Serán varios meses el tiempo que permanecerán allí, ah, solo deben comer durante el tiempo que han establecido para que esa plataforma permanezca en cada piso. No se permite retener comida para más tarde, eso se castiga una sola vez, sabes lo que eso significa?.
El Hoyo y su secuela me hizo recordar Mad Max, película que protagonizó Mel Gibson en sus años de juventud y que luego en el 2015 nos traen una nueva versión que tiene a Charlize Theron entre sus personajes principales. El Hoyo es un recinto cerrado, es como una pequeña fracción de lo que simula ser un mundo post-apocalíptico, donde la lucha se centra en comer para poder sobrevivir. Los de arriba son lo que tienen el poder y quieren obtener lo mejor, mientras que los de abajo, son sometidos y olvidados.
Si en una sociedad normal es difícil organizarse, imagínate en un edificio donde sus habitantes viven como en un mundo post-apocalíptico, el caos es más que inminente. En el Hoyo no hay equidad, ni empatía, ni solidaridad, la locura por el hambre se apodera de las masas que solo buscan poder y la destrucción de los demás para poder sobrevivir, aquí la consigna es matar o morir. La película es bastante entretenida, eso sí, muy sangrienta y es algo que no disfruto en lo absoluto. Obvio, también quería saber cómo terminaba todo, si era posible sobrevivir al hoyo o si quienes entran nunca logran salir.
Una de las cosas que no me gustó del Hoyo es que casi no le entendía a uno de los personajes principales, su dialecto español no era claro, eso me molestó un poco. Tampoco entendí el supuesto “mensaje”, la verdad es que es bastante confuso. Ver el Hoyo 2 complementó la primera parte, me ayudó a entender varios elementos que no fueron explicados en el Hoyo. En cuanto a los actores principales y el reparto, fueron buenas sus actuaciones, aunque no reconozco a ninguno para destacarlos y mencionarlos en trabajos anteriores. El Hoyo y el Hoyo 2 son buenas opciones para ver, obvio, si te gusta la sangre y la lucha por el poder, aunque me decepcionó algo que siempre busco en las películas, entender el “mensaje”.

A few days ago I saw the promo for The Hole 2 and it caught my attention that it sounded strong among the trends, so this tempted me to watch it. When I started watching it, I knew right away that to understand it I had to start at the beginning, watching The Hole to be able to continue with the sequel of this sci-fi thriller movie.
Those who choose to be in the hole, do so to settle a guilt or forget a penalty, to be repentant, perhaps? The truth is that they have the option of going to this place instead of going to a prison, a psychiatric hospital or doing community service. It seems easy to be in a quiet place with another companion and just wait for the food to come, supposedly eating what you can. Also, in this dreary place you are allowed to bring an item, perhaps to distract yourself. I myself came to think “how easy it is to stay in that hole”, anyone could pay for a crime they have committed, but things are not as simple as they seem.
The pit is nothing more than a building made up of several floors, with a square-shaped hole in the middle where a platform of the same geometric configuration travels from the upper floors to the lower ones with a large amount of food. Before entering the hole, those selected for the challenge are interviewed to know their likes and dislikes for food, such as allergies and the food they like the most, so on that platform they will see their favorite food on the menu. It will be several months the time they will stay there, ah, they must only eat during the time they have set for that platform to remain on each floor. You are not allowed to hold food for later, that is punished only once, do you know what that means?.
The Pit and its sequel reminded me of Mad Max, a movie that starred Mel Gibson in his youth and then in 2015 brought us a new version that has Charlize Theron among its main characters. The Hole is a closed enclosure, it is like a small fraction of what simulates to be a post-apocalyptic world, where the struggle is focused on eating in order to survive. Those at the top are the ones who have the power and want to get the best, while those at the bottom are subdued and forgotten.
If in a normal society it is difficult to organize, imagine in a building where its inhabitants live as in a post-apocalyptic world, chaos is more than imminent. In the Hole there is no equity, no empathy, no solidarity, the madness of hunger takes over the masses who only seek power and the destruction of others in order to survive, here the slogan is kill or be killed. The movie is quite entertaining, yes, very bloody and it is something I do not enjoy at all. Obviously, I also wanted to know how it all ended, if it was possible to survive the hole or if those who enter never manage to get out.
One of the things I didn't like about El Hoyo is that I almost didn't understand one of the main characters, his Spanish dialect wasn't clear, that bothered me a little bit. I also didn't understand the supposed “message”, the truth is that it's quite confusing. Watching Hole 2 complemented the first part, it helped me to understand several elements that were not explained in the Hole. As for the main actors and cast, their performances were good, although I don't recognize any of them to highlight and mention them in previous works. The Hole and The Hole 2 are good choices to watch, obviously, if you like blood and power struggle, although I was disappointed with something I always look for in movies, to understand the “message”.

Uhiii que emoción llego la segunda parte y no sabía, jeje no es que me guste la sangre, pero si me gusta ver personajes con conflictos, la primera película me marco nunca la olvide, creo que entendí el mensaje, pero es una suposición mía, tal vez no lo entendí.

Oye alguien me habló de esta película más no me dio tantos detalles. Me parece interesante aunque hay dos cosas mencionadas con las que tampoco me identifico, lo sangriento y ese lenguaje español de poco entendimiento jeje. Buscaré para verla. Gracias por tu recomwndacion
