Greetings, appreciated, cinephiles and seriophiles, I am in tune with the sonorous and frequent tuning of the C/ Movies & TV Show. The ease of enjoying an excellent movie is comfortable, I can easily have home cinema nowadays. In particular, Netflix, which provides the option to use the command to turn on a TV, select the one I like. Settle down in bed, in the armchair or on a sofa. Duly nestled, with hot cotufas and a refreshing drink, I select, Don't look up. The cast is stupendous, the main protagonists are anthology. An array of stars make up the cast of the performance.

La facilidad para disfrutar una excelente película, es cómodo, puedo de manera sencilla tener cine en el hogar, en la actualidad. En especial, Netflix, que brinda la opción de utilizar el comando para encender un televisor, seleccionar, la que me guste. Acomodarse en la cama, en el sillón o en un sofá. Debidamente anidado, con las calientes cotufas y una refrescante bebida, selecciono, Don't look up. El elenco es estupendo, los principales protagonistas son de antología. Un abanico de estrellas conforma el elenco de la actuación.

The lights in the hall are dimmed. The first scenes show two astronomers. Kate Dibiasky (Jennifer Lawrence); first, the lady, and Dr Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio), discover the movement of an immense comet heading abruptly, directly and spectacularly towards the earth. The comet, named after the astronomer Dibiasky, has a diameter of 10 kilometres and is about to hit the globe in six months.

The situation reaches the White House, but US President Janie Orlean (Meryl Streep) is insensitive to the lethal and devastating meteorological phenomenon, which is more at the centre of her re-election than the comet threat. Here, I am struck by the presence of the media, which manipulates the situation with disdain. For, they focus on capturing the sensationalist coverage of the weather event that is brewing for the months ahead, rather than communicating effectively about the real serious implications.

Los eminentes astrónomos promueven a la humanidad del peligro inminente e irrefutable, pero su mensaje es ignorado, por el hegemón de las naciones. La situación llega a la Casa Blanca, pero La presidenta de los Estados Unidos, Janie Orlean (Meryl Streep), es insensible ante el letal y desbastador fenómeno meteorológico, que está más zanjada en el centro de su reelección que por la amenaza del cometa. Aquí, se me destapa la presencia de los medios de comunicación, que manipulan con desdén la situación. Pues, se centran en capturar la cobertura sensacionalista del acontecimiento meteorológico que se fragua para los meses que se avecinan, en vez de comunicar efectivamente sobre las graves implicaciones reales.

I like the filmic format, it is engaging. Comet Dibiasky is a latent global threat from the millions of objects of various sizes moving in and out of the earth's atmosphere. Today, humanity has the knowledge and technology to avoid this and any other disaster in our ecosystem, but the hegemon is indifferent to the impending global catastrophe.

Me agrada el sustento del formato fílmico, es atractivo. El cometa Dibiasky es una latente amenaza global por las millonadas de objetos de diversos tamaños que se desplazan cerca y fuera de la atmosfera de la tierra. Actualmente, la humanidad tiene el conocimiento y la tecnología para evitar este y cualquier desastre en nuestro ecosistema, pero el hegemón es indiferente ante la inminente catástrofe mundial.

In the political context, President Orlean and her son Jason (Jonah Hill) are shown as the ultimate representation of a political elite that is more immersed in turmoil than in the welfare of the population.
Within the framework of mass information, the media fulfils its role of maintaining disinformation. This makes it difficult for people to understand the reality of the situation.
The film comes to an end with the savage packing of the comet Dibiasky, impacting and shattering the Earth. Most of humanity dies, but a group of people survive and begin to rebuild humanity.
I am motivated to review the colour palette because, through it, messages are conveyed that shape mass behaviour.

Here, I am moved by the thought, the power of the media that has the power to shape public opinion and the perception of reality, as it pleases. The media inject themselves into the sensationalist coverage of the Dibiasky comet story. They do not describe the raw threat, instead they are skilled in distorting and hilarious entertainment controversies. This blocks people from understanding the significance of the situation. That is, they are controlled by the dominant sector. They obscure the closeness of the comet's onslaught and engage in intense political proselytising.
The film, Don't look up, is a clear and real call about the perverse contents of disinformation and media manipulation.

Acá, me mueve el pensamiento, el poder de los medios de comunicación que tiene la fuerza para modelar la opinión pública y la percepción de la realidad, a su antojo. Los medios de comunicación se inyectan en la cobertura sensacionalista de la historia del cometa Dibiasky. No describen la cruda amenaza, por el contrario, son diestros en las deformantes e hilarantes controversias del entretenimiento. I love this actress, Kate Dibiasky whenever I enjoy her performance, it gets me into the blood system, her fluid spirit, she is talented Jennifer Lawrence, she is busy showing herself as a young astronomer who discovers a comet heading for Earth. She is intelligent and passionate, but she has her bumpy, emotional side. She is naïve and impulsive. Her message is ignored by most people.
Lawrence's performance is powerful and moving. Lawrence manages to embody Kate's emotion and determination, as well as her vulnerability and naivety. Her performance is one of the shining lights that make the film intense and fantastic.

My conjecture and interpretation of the film's, ending is an eminently personal matter. I perceive it as a warning for the ignorance and indifference of the system. Humanity is capable of creating plans with optimistically thinking international bodies to live in a better world. Living in this world. Not to live outside this planet. The dystopian approach to travel outside our natural environment must be uprooted.
The scene where the survivors descend naked from the ship is a powerful image. It represents the vulnerability of humanity. They arrive preconceived on a planet with dreams of reaching Eden, paradise. It begins immediately with the debut of the maelstrom consuming the divine visitors. They arrive naked and naïve, unaware of the threats that surround them, and we are not prepared to face them.

Mi conjetura e interpretación del final de la película, es un asunto eminentemente personal. Lo percibo como un alerta por la ignorancia y la indiferencia del sistema. La humanidad es capaz de crear planes con los organismos internacionales que piensan con optimismo para vivir en un mundo mejor. Vivir en este mundo. No vivir fuera de este planeta. Se debe desarraigar el planteo distópico de los viajes fuera de nuestro ambiente natural.
La escena en la que los supervivientes descienden desnudos de la nave, es una imagen poderosa. Representa la vulnerabilidad de la humanidad. Llegan preconcebidos a un planeta con los sueños de llegar al edén, el paraíso. Se inicia de inmediato con el debut de la vorágine consumiendo a los divinos visitantes. Llegan desnudos e ingenuos, desconocen las amenazas que les rodean, y no estamos preparados para afrontarlas.

Don't look up, is a seductive and thought-provoking film about the challenges humanity faces for survival. The film makes a resounding call to raise awareness of the dangers that threaten humanity in the face of hubris and the absence of plans of action in the face of the deterioration of the environment, humanity and the planet in general with all its inhabitants.
It is not more of the same, because it forces us to reflect on our commitment and responsibility for planetary conservation. We are the only ones who can save our world, but we are also the promoters of its destruction. This film is a commendable spiritual reflection.
Don't look up, es una película seductora que invita a la reflexión sobre los retos que enfrenta la humanidad para la supervivencia. La película hace un clamoroso llamado para sensibilizar sobre los peligros que amenazan a la humanidad ante la soberbia y la ausencia de planes de acción ante el deterioro del medio ambiente, la humanidad y el planeta en general con todos sus habitantes.

No es más de lo mismo, porque obliga a reflexionar sobre el compromiso y la responsabilidad que se tiene de conservación planetaria. Somos los únicos que podemos salvar nuestro mundo, pero también somos los promotores para poder destruirlo. Es una encomiable reflexión espiritual esta obra cinematográfica.
