Writers' Strike #2 / Strajk scenarzystów #2

A week ago, I wrote briefly about the actors' strike. Today I will refer to the recording of the Ending Credits, Oscar and Radek. I don't always agree with them (mainly on ideological issues), but when it comes to movies, series, box office, etc. They're better than me in every way, and by listening to them, I've gotten better at it. This video explains the whole subject at length and shows how profound its consequences will be. Most of the things you probably didn't even think about, I was surprised myself. And for the first time I understood why they were criticizing capitalism - although I consider most of their arguments to be flat-earth crap, but they were right about a few things. In matters of the main topic, they also did not tell the full truth several times. For example, saying that poor effects are only the producers' fault - not true, it is also our fault, or rather the fault of those who eat like mindless pigs, everything that corporations throw at you. And I'm not talking about people who like and watch them, because it's nothing abnormal. And I say this only because the left sees greed in some (those they don't like) and they don't see it in themselves. Like right-wingers and conservatives who deny that some girls want to be whores (not that they enjoy it, but these people enjoy almost nothing). I will also skip the cretinisms that they said and wrote about gender in this live, because all the facts testify against women in sports competition with men in most categories. And you can't get around them with exercise or money or whatever. There were a few other issues, such as a slight hypocrisy about A.I. (It's about comparing an excavator doing the work of a thousand people to using A.I for work - there is no difference between 1 and 2, both steal people's work), but I'll skip that.

As for the strike itself... Apart from what I already wrote about A.I, earnings and taking every opportunity to take some cash from you (say, you work in a kind of warehouse and office like me, every now and then they take away one competence you agreed to and without which you don't have 250 PLN from your salary, they did it 4 times - you don't have 1K, and 6-7K is a small / almost medium Polish city good pay. ), the gap between the earnings of actors, writers and producers has increased significantly. For years I have defended (and still do) the right of the rich to be rich - even if they inherited that money, they have the right to be rich. The world is not fair and will NEVER be fair. However, while the difference of 1:40 in earnings (in the sense of actor - producer, and such numbers were mentioned by Oskar) is ok, because the actor is responsible for only one thing, and the producer throws money at the whole event (which means he has to show more talents and skills), a few or a dozen (!!!) times greater, it's a gross exaggeration. And here, being a 100% capitalist who sees nothing wrong with throwing people under the bridge when they don't pay their bills (in a civilized form, so that it's not unrestricted, but still - the problem is not the person throwing it, but the person KICKED OUT FOR NOT PAYING THE SERVICE) - this is simply wrong. However, it is a completely natural process that we experience from the beginning - as children. The older we get, the more we can do, and our parents can do less and less. This increases the responsibility, if not for your children, then for a part of society. Producers are such spoiled and spoiled brats who want to get more and more all the time. They do it because they can, because they have no limits that will hit them over the head other than cutting them off from revenue. Therefore, for example, if you really care about their well-being, then stop eating like mindless pigs, the feed they give you like cattle on D +, Netflix or other corporations. You have to vote with your wallet, they don't understand any other language. And if you really have the pressure (which I don't mind, everyone has the right to like what they want) and you just have to see it, then you have pirated copies. As long as you don't live in Germany or (I don't know what it's like there) in the USA, you're unlikely to face any consequences.

It is equally natural that everyone is drawn in their own direction. Contrary to what the left and the right claim (each group for different reasons, both for equally stupid reasons), people usually, even the less intelligent, are well aware of this, they are just cheating. Sometimes they deceive themselves, but subconsciously they know it's selfishness. And what is a good deterrent to selfishness? What makes normal people (or at least thinking people) take their hand away as if from white-hot metal? Punishment and consequences, as long as they are inevitable and quite painful (neither too weak nor too strong). Teach the pain is one thing, but the vision of being caught is another. And if someone makes some mistakes unconsciously (like me, which is very sad, but you have to be a man and embrace it), then you just have to watch twice. Therefore, on every such occasion, when two parties agree on something, the rules and framework in which we operate must be carefully written down. It helps everyone, I wrote about it in the text about GTA, which will appear soon on the blog. Anyone who says otherwise has no clue what they're talking about. And such agreements have to be written down every time there is any major change or the matrix on which we operate changes completely.

And yes, for years I myself was an opponent of trade unions. I was a child, I looked at it like a child, I believed the right-wing crooks. The fact is, sometimes they exaggerate and there must also be a law over them that will temper them, but someone has to protect the least organized employees. Not everyone is a talented, tough specialist with strong genes, who has a mega talent or a rich family. There are 1% of such actors, similarly with people. They need some help, support, assurance. Not too much, because every human would like to sit, do nothing and get paid for it, but you know what I mean. And if you don't know, you will understand in the first financial crisis in your life (over which you had no influence) and producers / heads of companies / presidents of corporations will stick their asses out in front of you and say: "we don't have your money, what will you do to us? Therefore, I am a supporter of trade unions and it's better when they are than if they are not there. There are few honest and good people, most of us are more or less false and cynical, remember that. Also remember that many of them do not have such possibilities - do you think you would be better in the place of Bob Iger, David Zaslav and the like? Apart from people who are completely unsuitable for such work (even let's assume that in theory), I guarantee you that if given such a choice to every person, 90% of humanity would not even hesitate with a light hand.

And what will I say in the end... This strike cured me for life of positive feelings towards corporations, large multinational companies and rich people. Sometimes I'll buy their stuff, go to their movies, but only when I really have to. I've already given up on Netflix, it's actually good that they made this decision, I'll say goodbye to D+ next year. This year I also arranged for friends to freshen up, so I didn't want to act like an asshole. But in July 2024, I'm not going to give them my money anymore. I prefer to pay, for example, Sony, who are also cold, pained pricks, but at least they don't tell these people "we'll wait until the end of the strike until you lose your homes, you'll be an easier target." I recommend the same to you - if you have views like mine, do what you want, but if you are anti-capitalist left and you pay Disney, you are (partially) as bad as Bob Iger. Because you allow it and you pay for it. With your money. Which no one is forcing you to do. And when you cry for LGBT emotions, show similar dignity towards people who get a pitiful fee for hard work. If you don't, your praise for protest and your criticism of capitalism will be worth shit. What else... And finally, this action shows how much our own ego hurts us. If the manufacturers had thrown them literally meager pennies (measly pennies for them, big sums for us), they would have settled the dispute, and so the consequences would be long-lasting.

Tydzień temu, napisałem krótko o strajku aktorów. Dzisiaj odniosę się do nagrania Napisów Końcowych, Oskara i Radka. Nie zawsze się z nimi zgadzam (głównie w kwestiach światopoglądowych), ale w kwestii filmów, seriali, boxoffice etc. - są lepsi pod każdym względem ode mnie i dzięki słuchaniu ich, stałem się lepszy w tym temacie. Ten film wyjaśnia obszernie cały temat i pokazuje, jak głębokie będą jego konsekwencje. O większości sprawach, pewnie nawet nie pomyśleliście, sam się zdziwiłem. I po raz pierwszy zrozumiałem, dlaczego krytykują kapitalizm - co prawda większość ich argumentów uważam za bzdury na poziomie płaskiej ziemi, ale w paru kwestiach mieli rację. W kwestiach głównego tematu, też kilka razy nie powiedzieli pełnej prawdy. Np. mówiąc, że słabe efekty to tylko wina producentów - nie prawda, to również nasza, czy raczej wina tych, którzy żrą jak bezmyślne świnie, wszystko co podrzucą wam korporacje. I nie mówię tu o ludziach, którzy je lubią i oglądają, bo to nie jest nic nienormalnego. I mówię to tylko dlatego, że lewica dostrzega zachłanność u jednych (tych których nie lubią), a nie dostrzegają ich u siebie. Tak jak prawica i konserwatyści, którzy negują fakt, że niektóre dziewczyny chcą być dziwkami (nie żeby sprawiało im to radość, ale tym ludziom prawie nic nie sprawia radości). Kretynizmy, które mówili i pisali na temat płci w tym live, też pominę, bo wszystkie fakty świadczą przeciw kobietom w rywalizacji sportowej z mężczyznami w większości kategorii. I nie da się ich obejść ćwiczeniami, pieniędzmi, czy czymkolwiek. Było jeszcze kilka innych kwestii, jak np. lekka hipokryzja ws. A.I (chodzi o porównanie koparki wykonującej pracę tysiąca ludzi do wykorzystania A.I do pracy - nie ma różnicy między 1, a 2, obie rzeczy kradną pracę ludziom), ale to już pominę.

Jeśli chodzi o sam strajk... To pomijając to, co już napisałem o A.I, zarobkach i wykorzystywaniu każdej okazji, by Wam zabrać część gotówki (powiedzmy, pracujesz w czymś w rodzaju magazynu i biura, jak ja, co jakiś czas odbierają ci jedną kompetencję, na którą się zgodziłeś, a bez której nie masz 250 PLN z wypłaty, zrobili to 4 razy - nie masz 1K, a 6-7K to małym / prawie średnim polskim mieście dobra wypłata. Nie powiecie mi, że to jest w porządku wobec pracownika.), znacząco zwiększyła się różnica między zarobkami aktorów, scenarzystów i producentów. Przez lata broniłem (i nadal bronię) prawa bogaczy do bycia bogatymi - nawet jeśli dostali te pieniądze w spadku, to mają prawo być bogatym. Świat nie jest sprawiedliwy i NIGDY nie będzie. Natomiast, o ile różnica 1:40 w zarobkach (w sensie aktor - producent, a o takich liczbach mówił Oskar) jest ok, bo aktor odpowiada tylko za jedną rzecz, a producent rzuca kasę na całą imprezę (przez co musi się wykazać większą liczbą talentów i umiejętności), o tyle kilka lub kilkanaście (!!!) razy większa, to już gruba przesada. I tu będąc 100% kapitalistą, który nie widzi nic złego w wyrzucaniu ludzi pod most, gdy nie płacą rachunków (w pewnej ucywilizowanej formie, by nie był to proceder bez ograniczeń, ale nadal - problemem nie jest osoba wyrzucająca, a osoba WYRZUCANA ZA NIE OPŁACENIE USŁUGI) - to jest po prostu złe. Jest to jednak totalnie naturalny proces, którego doświadczamy już od początku - jako dzieci. Im starsi jesteśmy, tym więcej możemy, a rodzice mogą nam coraz mniej zrobić. Rośnie za to odpowiedzialność, jak nie za swoje dzieci, to za część społeczeństwa. Producenci to takie rozkapryszone i rozpieszczone bachory, które chcą dostawać ciągle więcej i więcej. Robią tak, bo mogą, bo nie mają żadnych ograniczeń, które uderzą ich po głowie, poza odcięciem ich od przychodów. Dlatego np. jeżeli realnie zależy Wam na ich dobrobycie, to przestańcie żreć jak bezmyślne świnie, paszę którą wam dają jak bydłu na D+, Netflixie lub inne korporacje wciskają. Trzeba głosować portfelem, oni innego języka nie rozumieją. A jeżeli już naprawdę macie ciśnienie (o co się nie obrażam, każdy ma prawo lubić to co chce) i po prostu musicie to zobaczyć, to macie pirackie kopie. Dopóki nie mieszkacie w Niemczech lub (chyba, nie wiem jak to tam wygląda) USA, to raczej nie spotkają was za to konsekwencje.

Równie naturalnym jest to, że każdy ciągnie w swoją stronę. Wbrew temu, co twierdzi lewica i prawica (każda grupa z różnych przyczyn, obie z równie głupich powodów), ludzie zazwyczaj, nawet ci mniej inteligentni, doskonale sobie z tego zdają sprawę, tylko oszukują. Czasem oszukują samych siebie, ale podświadomie wiedzą, że to egoizm. A co dobrze powstrzymuje egoizm? Co sprawia, że normalni ludzie (lub przynajmniej ci myślący) zabierają rękę jak od rozgrzanego do białości metalu? Kara i konsekwencje, o ile są nieuchronne i dość bolesne (ani za słabo ani za mocno). Uczcie bólu to jedno, ale drugie to wizja zostania złapanym. A jak ktoś popełnia niektóre błędy nieświadomie (jak ja, co jest bardzo smutne, ale trzeba być mężczyzną i ogarniać to), to musi się po prostu podwójnie pilnować. Dlatego przy każdej takiej okazji, gdy dwie strony się na coś umawiają, muszą zostać dokładnie spisane reguły i ramy, w których się poruszamy. To pomaga wszystkim, napisałem o tym w tekście o GTA, który pojawi się niedługo na blogu. Jeżeli ktoś twierdzi inaczej, to nie ma bladego pojęcia, o czym mówi. I takie umowy trzeba spisywać za każdym razem, jak zajdzie jakakolwiek większa zmiana lub kompletnie się zmieni matryca, na której operujemy.

I tak, przez lata sam byłem przeciwnikiem związków zawodowych. Byłem dzieckiem, patrzyłem na to jak dziecko, uwierzyłem prawicowym oszustom. Fakt, czasem przesadzają i nad nimi też musi stać prawo, które ich utemperuje, ale ktoś musi chronić najmniej ogarniętych pracowników. Nie każdy jest zdolnym, twardym specjalistą o mocnych genach, który ma mega talent lub bogatą rodzinę. Takich aktorów jest 1%, z ludźmi podobnie. Oni potrzebują jakiejś pomocy, wsparcia, asekuracji. Nie za dużej, bo każdy człowiek chciałby siedzieć, nic nie robić i dostawać za to kasę, ale wiecie o co chodzi. A jak nie wiecie, to zrozumiecie w pierwszym finansowym kryzysie w swoim życiu (na który nie mieliście wpływu) i producenci / szefowie firm / prezesi korporacji, wypną przed wami dupy i powiedzą: "nie mamy waszych pieniędzy, co nam zrobicie?. Dlatego też, jestem zwolennikiem związków zawodowych i lepiej jest, gdy są niż jak ich nie ma. Uczciwych i dobrych ludzi jest mało, większość z nas jest mniej lub bardziej fałszywa i cyniczna, pamiętajcie o tym. Pamiętajcie też o tym, że wielu z nich nie ma takich możliwości - myślicie, że bylibyście lepsi na miejscu Boba Igera, Davida Zaslava i im podobnych? Pomijając ludzi, którzy kompletnie się nie nadają do takiej pracy (nawet przyjmijmy że w kwestii teorii), to gwarantuję wam, że gdyby dać taki wybór każdemu człowiekowi, to lekką ręką 90% ludzkości by się nawet nie wahała. Parę % może by się zawahało, części nie dałoby się faktycznie złamać, ale to byłby promil promila.

I co powiem na końcu... Ten strajk dożywotnio wyleczył mnie z pozytywnych uczuć wobec korporacji, dużych międzynarodowych firm i bogatych ludzi. Czasem będę kupował ich przedmioty, chodził na filmy, ale tylko wtedy, gdy naprawdę muszę. Z Netflixa już zrezygnowałem, w sumie dobrze się stało, że podjęli tę decyzję, z D+ pożegnam się za rok. W tym roku jeszcze się umówiłem z przyjaciółmi, że odświeżymy, więc nie chciałem zachowywać się jak dupek. Ale w lipcu 2024 nie zamierzam im więcej dawać moich pieniędzy. Już wolę zapłacić np. Sony, którzy co prawda też są chłodnymi, zbolałymi kutasami, ale przynajmniej nie mówią tym ludziom "poczekamy z końcem strajku aż stracicie domy, będziecie łatwiejszym celem". Wam polecam to samo - jeżeli macie poglądy jak ja, róbcie co chcecie, ale jeżeli jesteście anty-kapitalistyczną lewicą i płacicie Disneyowi, to jesteście (częściowo) tak samo źli jak Bob Iger. Bo dajecie na to przyzwolenie i płacicie za to. Swoimi pieniędzmi. Do czego nikt was nie zmusza. A jak już płaczecie o emocje dla LGBT, to wykażcie się podobną godnością względem ludzi, którzy za ciężką pracę dostając żałosne honorarium. Jeżeli tego nie zrobicie, to wasze pochwały w kierunku protestu oraz krytyka kapitalizmu, będą gówno warte. Co jeszcze... A tak na koniec, ta akcja pokazuje jak bardzo nasze własne ego nam szkodzi. Gdyby producenci rzucili im dosłownie nędzne grosze (dla nich nędzne grosze, dla nas duże sumy), to by rozwiązali spór, a tak konsekwencje będą długotrwałe.
