We tried to not judge on directing as it’s different because Rod only wrote this and didn’t produce/have final say…

The good news is since it’s not Twilight Zone CBS isn’t policing it’s being posted on YouTube and you can watch full episode below!

This was the script Rod Serling pitched to CBS for first twilight zone episode. It was used for a different anthology show In 1958 a year prior to the Twilight Zone Pilot…

Remember this isn’t shot as a Twilight Zone so it has some glitches in my opinion comparing it to #TwilightZone but it’s still a Rod Serling written episode that was used to pitch Twilight Zone and it’s definitely a part of Twilight Zone history!

It has one of my favorite Twilight Zone actors in it! -Ashlee

Not broadcast as TW? This explains why I have never seen this episode before.

Indeed it does. Thought was the original pilot script for his pitch. Sorta a test run instead done as a one off for a different program. Not bad though! Script is good. I kinda wish Rod re did it years later but maybe he figured what’s done is done.

Just watched this episode, certainly has Rod's finger prints all over.
