Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F Review(2024)
After many years Axel Foley is back! In case you didn't know this movie was on pause for many many years but the time has come and on the 3rd of July 2024 the new movie was out. Note that this is the 4th movie of the popular title and ofc the star of the show is Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy). Now i don't know about you but i grew up with that guy and in my opinion, he is a great comedian and actor.
Now the plot is pretty straightforward as with every title. A lot of years have passed and Axel Foley is still living and working his way as a cop in Detroit. At the same time, in LA lies his daughter Jane that he doesn't actually have a good and healthy relationship. There also lives Billy Rosewood who works as a private detective and is involved in a serious case along with Jane who works as a lawyer. Both of them are getting in danger and Foley returns back to LA for another adventure, trying to save his friend and daughter, solve the case and build again his relationship with his daughter.
Now in general the movie is pretty entertaining if you grew up with movies like this one and with Eddie Murphy then you will feel some nostalgia as well. Also get ready to meet once again many popular characters from the other movies like Serge for example. The acting is great, there are cool fight scenes and jokes but don't expect anything much about the plot. What i mean by this, is that the narrow and plot is pretty straightforward since the movie starts.
No plot twists, no shocking turn of events, it's more like a movie for all of those wanted to see another Beverly Hills Cop one and feel the nostalgia i mentioned above. Even though we are talking about a 2 hours movie it runs pretty smoothly and with no gaps or boredom phases. In general, if you like that type of action/comedy movies just to have some fun, kill some time and bring back memories, especially with the song below, then this movie is for you!
Todos los filmes que he visto de este actor me fascina, Es polifacético todas sus actuaciones son buenísimas.
Saludos @filotasriza3
Murphy's fall from grace was pretty rapid in the early 2000's and he doesn't really do a great deal anymore. I haven't felt really compelled to watch this but I think the nostalgia would hit me right in the feels.
Nostalgia will hit you for sure!
dolemite is my name was another recent one (2019) that i quite enjoyed!
