BENDICIONES a todos los amigos de la Comunidad Hive. Hoy les traigo una película, Tragicomedia Titulada: BEAU TIENE MIEDO 2023, escrita y dirigida por: Ari Aster, Producida por: Lars Knudsen y Ari Aster, Protagonizada por Joaquín Phoenix, Carril Nathan, Amy Ryan, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Hayley Escuderos, Denis Menochet, Kylie Rogers, Patti Lupone y Parker Posey.
¿De qué trata?
Trata de la vida de Beau Wassermann (Joaquin Phoenix) un ser nervioso, cuando era niño fue maltratado psicológicamente por su madre, convertido en hombre vive solo en un apartamento descuidado, el visita al Terapeuta ya que se prepara para realizar un viaje para ver a su madre por el aniversario de la muerte de su padre, pero al momento de salir, se regresa y ya la maleta ha desaparecido al igual que las llaves de su apartamento. A partir de allí comienzan las situaciones presentadas o alucinadas, hasta es atropellado en la calle cuando salía desnudo del apartamento.
Opinión Personal
Beau tiene miedo, es una de las películas más complicadas que he visto, la trama te atrae, siente curiosidad de indagar que sucederá, cuando inicia todo normal, una persona nerviosa está visitando a su terapeuta, quien le recomienda un nuevo fármaco, ya que próximamente piensa viajar a reunirse con su madre, todo bien hasta los momentos, pero cuando ya estaba a punto de salir, se regresa para buscar un hilo dental, y no encuentra ni la maleta, ni las llaves del apartamento, comienza la pesadilla para él y para nosotros.
Inicia una historia tras otra, sin pie ni cabeza, la película dura 3 horas, a mi parecer excesivamente larga, Alicia en el País de las Maravillas se quedó atrás, en cuanto a historias, yo seguía viéndola esperando un desenlace que encajara con el rompecabezas vivido, como en la película Babel, que todo va encajando poco a poco, pero tristemente no fue así.
Lo bueno de esta complicada película fue la excelente actuación de Joaquín Phoenix, como Beau Wassermann, quien demostró profesionalismo en el personaje, hacía sentir la confusión, ansiedad y angustia de cada escena, pero si bien beau también intentaba darle sentido a lo que le ocurría, pero terminaba siempre más confundido que resuelto.
Beau tiene miedo, presenta muchas historias como el edificio donde supuestamente vivía, plagado de cuanta persona trastornada existiera, locos esquizofrénicos, drogadictos, meretrices, personas muertas, parecía una calle repleta de zombis, yo lo vi como real, pero creo que me perdí.
Si bien no quiero decir que esta película sea mala, sino que es subjetiva, todo está en la forma en como tú lo veas o la forma en tu interpretes las escenas. En lo personal para mí son extrañas y poco comprensibles a la vista, en esta película nos sumergimos en la vida de un personaje que además de sufrir traumas y tener una relación complicada con su madre, sufre de alucinaciones que se representan como pensamientos tormentosos que lleva cargando con ellos toda su vida, y que su mecanismo de defensa siempre ha sido huir en lugar de enfrentarlos, el personaje es de carácter pasivo en toda la película, nunca muestra característica de decidido, intrépido o audaz, simplemente se deja llevar por las circunstancias de lo esté pasando, sin voz, ni voto.
Algo que me gustaría añadir es que los medicamentos por lo general que le recetan a las personas que sufren este tipo de enfermedades es que vuelven a la persona como soñolienta, hacen que la persona entre en un estado de pasividad, distante, retraído, poco vivaz, en vez de sacar a la persona de ese estado daría la impresión de que lo sumergen aún más, prácticamente teniendo un vida fuera de sí mismo, en modo piloto automático, porque las pastillas a mi parecer hacen que su mente esté ausente, este personaje que es víctima de sus propios pensamientos, traumas y delirios y por supuesto del cierto control que tiene su madre en su vida.
La película tiene escenas donde se quedan demasiado simples y se tornan aburridas, para luego sorprenderte con algo extraño y volver a cautivar al espectador nuevamente, por naturaleza el espectador busca siempre una película que guarde relaciones una escena con la otra, pero esta película pareciera no tenerla, es difícil describirla si solo la miras una vez, tendría que observarla más si quisiera poder entender algo.
El hablar de un personaje principal que sufre algún tipo de paranoia o enfermedad mental, ya es para mí motivo suficiente para causarme curiosidad y verla, para comprender mejor la vida de estas personas y su día a día, el cómo procesan la información y como perciben todo lo que les rodea, un personaje que sufre de paranoia y al parecer un miedo irracional hacia el mismo concepto de la propia vida, o que tiene agorafobia también a defraudar o no poder cumplir las expectativas de su madre, que de alguna forma lo hacía sentir culpable, pero que también de alguna manera es posesiva con su vida y con sus decisiones, las película te muestra escenas o acontecimientos que te hacen pensar un poco más allá de lo que observas y darle un sentido o significado con el personaje, así que por eso repito si tiene significados pero ocultos o muy dispersos, honestamente no creo ver esta película de nuevo, no porque la considere mala, sino porque simplemente no es de mi gusto, supongo que soy del tipo de persona que le gusta ver algo con sentido o buscarle sentido a las cosas que veo.,
El nombre en lo personal me parece demasiado rematado “Beau tiene miedo” me parece un nombre demasiado básico, pero que a su vez representa bien al protagonista, en todo momento parece siempre tener miedo de lo siguiente que pueda suceder, es un sin fin de continuas huidas despavoridas.
Si eres una persona que le gusta ver cosas con sentido o lógica, no la recomendaría, pero si eres una persona que prefiere las cosas impredecibles pues entonces mírala, no quiero sonar como el rebaño que por que unos cuantos aplaudan algo, yo también lo haré, pues No!, prefiero dar mi opinión, donde si algo no me gusta pues simplemente lo pensare así, de igual manera respeto las opiniones ajenas si a otras personas les encanto, pues perfecto, en si la película es el retrato de las alucinaciones y tormentos de una persona con paranoia, si bien no es terror del típico, sino terror psicológico, lo cual es más curioso aun, el cómo tus pensamientos te pueden devorar una y otra vez, en un bucle sin fin, lo cual si lo pensamos bien de cierta forma si es terrorífico, levantarse todo los días con el mismo pensamiento acechándote constantemente en tu mente ya para una persona que no sufre estas enfermedades mentales es difícil entonces imagínense a alguien que sufre de estas enfermedades el no poder controlar tu mente y emociones y ver cosas que para ti parecen tan vividas, porque las observas sientes y escuchas, cuando en realidad no están allí, no me quiero imaginar el infierno que tendrá que vivir día tras día, para luego tomar unas pastillas y estar como zombis si pensamiento propio o vida, realmente es triste y lamentable, espero no molestar a nadie con mi opinión
Para finalizar diré que la película retrata la mente de una persona enferma desde la niñez, y considero que maltratar a un niño, por presentar un problema mental, hace más daño y aumentan sus problemas, es importante brindar apoyo y ayudarlos a superar un trauma, me pregunto? Es así como trabaja la mente de una persona con trastornos mentales. Bueno Amigos sino quieren perder 3 horas de su valioso tiempo y dinero no la vean, NO LA RECOMIENDO, ahora si le gusta las películas complejas VEANLA coménteme al respecto Besos y Abrazos.

What is it about?

From that moment on, the situations that are presented or hallucinated begin, he is even run over in the street when he was leaving the apartment naked.
Personal Opinion
Beau is afraid, is one of the most complicated movies I've seen, the plot attracts you, feel curious to find out what will happen, when it starts all normal, a nervous person is visiting his therapist, who recommends a new drug, because soon he plans to travel to meet with his mother, all good so far, but when he was about to leave, he returns to look for a dental floss, and finds neither the suitcase nor the keys to the apartment, the nightmare begins for him and for us.
It starts one story after another, without head or foot, the film lasts 3 hours, in my opinion excessively long, Alice in Wonderland was left behind, in terms of stories, I kept watching it waiting for a denouement that would fit with the puzzle lived, as in the movie Babel, that everything fits together little by little, but sadly it was not so.
The good thing about this complicated film was the excellent performance of Joaquin Phoenix, as Beau Wassermann, who showed professionalism in the character, he made you feel the confusion, anxiety and anguish of each scene, but although Beau also tried to make sense of what was happening to him, he always ended up more confused than resolved.
Beau is scary, he presents many stories like the building where he supposedly lived, plagued by every deranged person there was, crazy schizophrenics, drug addicts, prostitutes, dead people, it looked like a street full of zombies, I saw it as real, but I think I got lost.
I don't want to say that this movie is bad, but it's subjective, it's all in the way you see it or the way you interpret the scenes. Personally for me they are strange and not very understandable to the eye, in this film we are immersed in the life of a character who in addition to suffering trauma and have a complicated relationship with his mother, suffers from hallucinations that are represented as tormenting thoughts that he has been carrying with them all his life, and that his defense mechanism has always been to flee instead of facing them, the character is passive throughout the film, never shows characteristic of determined, fearless or bold, simply carried away by the circumstances of what is happening, without voice or vote.
Something I would like to add is that the drugs usually prescribed to people suffering from this type of disease is that they make the person sleepy, they make the person enter a state of passivity, distant, withdrawn, not very lively, instead of getting the person out of that state would give the impression that they submerge him even more, practically having a life outside of himself, in autopilot mode, because the pills in my opinion make his mind absent, this character who is a victim of his own thoughts, traumas and delusions and of course of the certain control that his mother has in his life.
The film has scenes where they stay too simple and become boring, and then surprise you with something strange and captivate the viewer again, by nature the viewer is always looking for a film that has a relationship between one scene and the other, but this film does not seem to have it, it is difficult to describe it if you only watch it once, I would have to watch it more if I wanted to understand something.
The talk of a main character who suffers from some kind of paranoia or mental illness, is already for me enough reason to cause me curiosity and see it, to better understand the life of these people and their day to day, how they process information and how they perceive everything around them, a character who suffers from paranoia and apparently an irrational fear towards the same concept of life itself, or who has agoraphobia also to disappoint or not being able to meet the expectations of his mother, who somehow made him feel guilty, but also somehow she is possessive with her life and her decisions, the movie shows you scenes or events that make you think a little beyond what you observe and give a sense or meaning to the character, so I repeat if it has hidden or very scattered meanings, I honestly do not think I will see this movie again, not because I consider it bad, but because it is simply not to my taste, I guess I'm the kind of person who likes to see something with meaning or make sense of the things I see. ,
The name in the personal thing seems to me too much topped "Beau is afraid" seems to me a name too basic, but that in turn represents well the protagonist, at all times always seems to be afraid of the next thing that can happen, it is an endless continuous terrified escapes.
If you are a person who likes to see things that make sense or logic, I would not recommend it, but if you are a person who prefers unpredictable things then watch it, I do not want to sound like the herd that because a few people applaud something, I will do it too, well No. I prefer to give my opinion, where if you prefer to see things that are unpredictable, then watch it, I prefer to give my opinion, where if I don't like something I will simply think so, in the same way I respect the opinions of others if other people love it, well perfect, if the film is the portrait of the hallucinations and torments of a person with paranoia, although it is not the typical terror, but psychological terror, which is even more curious, how your thoughts can devour you again and again, in an endless loop, which if we think about it well in a certain way if it is terrifying, getting up every day with the same thought constantly stalking you in your mind and for a person who does not suffer from these mental illnesses is difficult then imagine someone who suffers from these diseases not being able to control your mind and emotions and see things that for you seem so vivid, because you observe them feel and hear, when in reality they are not there, I do not want to imagine the hell you have to live day after day, and then take some pills and be like zombies without own thought or life, it really is sad and unfortunate, I hope not to bother anyone with my opinion.
To conclude I will say that the film portrays the mind of a sick person since childhood, and I consider that mistreating a child, because he has a mental problem, does more damage and increase their problems, it is important to provide support and help them to overcome a trauma, I wonder? This is how the mind of a person with mental disorders works. Luego de leer las críticas a la película, perdí mi interés en ella, pero luego de tu reseña, me está volviendo la curiosidad de ver que hizo Ari Aster con esta película. Me interesa ver la actuación de Joaquin Phoenix, desde Joker quedé flechado con él, aunque luego me di cuenta que he visto películas mucho más viejas con su impecable actuación.
A decir verdad es algo que esperaría de la persona que produjo Midsommar y Hereditary, espero que haga otra obra maestra del terror como esas, pues han sido de mis favoritas. Es una lástima que no haya tomado el mismo rumbo con esta, pero quiero darle la oportunidad. Muchas gracias por compartir tu opinión honesta al respecto. Un saludo, nos vemos en otro post!^^
