The Super Mario Bros. Movie was so good that it made me want to play my Nintendo Switch again

I should have known that this new Mario Bros. movie was going to be amazing, but I kind of slept on it. I finally got a chance to watch it last night and I really must say that it is outstanding. This movie is not only a great nostalgic callback to one of the most beloved Nintendo characters ever, but it's also just a really hilarious film.
Just by looking at the cast list on IMDb, you can tell that this one was going to be funny. Just take a look at all of the different actors voicing these characters.
This is an animated film, but don't let that scare you off. It's absolutely worth your time, whether you played Mario as a kid or not. The art style actually really made me wish they'd make a new Mario game with these same graphics. Just think of a beautiful Unreal Engine 5 Mario game, that would do some crazy numbers in terms of sales.
I talk more about why this movie is so good in today's video. I also mention the fact that watching the movie made me want to fire up my Nintendo Switch for the first time since I got my launch-day PS5. I had already completed Super Mario Odyssey and I couldn't find Super Mario 3D All-Stars for a fair price, that's the one that includes Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy. I figure they'll eventually bring Super Mario Galaxy 2 to Switch, but who knows when.
This left me with two options. It was either New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe or Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. Watch my video to find out which of the two I decided to buy and how I was able to find it for a super cheap price.

I have not seen it yet, but all the hype around the brand has made we want to play more too.
I refused to pay to see it or anything in theaters. My patience paid off letting me enjoy this from the comfort of my own home without having to pay a thing.
It's quite impressive how big this ended up being, given how much outcry there was over Pratt voicing Mario.
People hating on Pratt was to be expected, but I think he nailed the whole Mario act.
Our family rarely go to the movies, but we took the whole family (all eight of us) to see this one. They all loved it, except my 1-year old who has never been to a theater before.
I have to be forced to pay a premium to watch on theaters. I usually just wait until I can pirate a copy with good picture quality. Glad you and you family were able to get out and see this one together.
It's such very lovely movie. Though I watched few part. It let me feel like getting it from the source to also enjoy. My pleasure 😂

Greetings dear friend, I also had the opportunity to see this new Mario bros classic and I really enjoyed it a lot and every second of the movie is a spectacle. In addition, the way they recreate that story from those video games is incredible and especially the animation in each of the characters in it. I've played Mario Bros on consoles and it's something on another level and I always have a good time. Great that you enjoyed all of that.

I loved the movie, I saw the movie with my son in a non-legal way 🤫 because in my city they closed the only cinema a few years ago. My son and I really enjoyed the game, he and I still play Mario on a retro console, but my son is 7 and he's better than me, he passes the levels very quickly while I'm always left behind, he got used to being the one Luigi's character because Mario's is used by me 😄
I think this movie came to unite both generations, people of more or less my age who share with their children or nephews, the movie is very funny, the Donki Kong scenes made me laugh a lot, in addition to the Bowser song on the piano he was in my head every day 🤣 his character is a rockstar
I see nothing wrong with watching movies online for free. Especially when you don't have any other option.
