¡Holaa holaa, mis queridos amigos de Hive! Espero estén teniendo un tenebroso y maravilloso inicio de octubre. Finalmente llegó octubre, uno de los meses que más me encantan, el clima comienza a cambiar, se acerca mi cumpleaños jajajaja y lanzan los especiales de Halloween que tanto amo. Por ello el día de hoy les recomendare algunas de mis películas favoritas para ver en esta época del año junto a su familia. Aquí no hablaré sobre nada de terror (eso ya será parte de otro blog jaja), les hablaré sobre mis películas favoritas de Disney de Halloween que nunca me perdía cuando ellos hacían sus tan esperados especiales (cosa que ya no hacen, lástima). Pero bueno, para no hacer las cosas más largas comenzaremos ¡ya!
Hello hello hello hello, my dear friends of Hive! I hope you are having a spooky and wonderful start of October. October is finally here, one of the months I love the most, the weather is starting to change, my birthday is coming up hahahaha and they are releasing the Halloween specials that I love so much. So today I will recommend some of my favorite movies to watch this time of the year with your family. Here I won't talk about anything horror (that will be part of another blog haha), I will talk about my favorite Disney Halloween movies that I never missed when they did their long awaited specials (which they don't do anymore, too bad). But well, not to make things longer we'll start now!
Brujillizas
Brujillizas, brujillizas. In-vencibles. Amaba demasiado esta película cuando era niña y es por ello que comienzo recomendandoles esta joyita para ver en familia con niños pequeños. Es divertida, fantasiosa y tiene una segunda parte que nos dejará muy feliz con su final.
Ahora, les hablaré un poco de lo que trata esta película: Hace un tiempo atrás en un mundo llamado Coventry la luz y la oscuridad se encontraban en plena guerra. Ese día dos gemelitas nacieron pero para protegerlas y proteger el futuro de esa dimensión las llevaron al mundo de la tierra sin magia y las separaron, veintiún años después se reencuentran y descubren que son hermanas pero la felicidad les dura muy poco puesto que la oscuridad descubrió que ellas continuaban con vida y ahora las busca para acabar con ellas por lo tanto Camryn y Alex deben ahora prepararse y luchar para devolver la paz a su mundo, salvar a su madre biológica y devolver la luz a Coventry.

I loved this movie too much when I was a child and that's why I start by recommending this little gem to watch as a family with young children. It is fun, fantasy and has a second part that will leave us very happy with its ending.
Now, I will tell you a little bit about what this movie is about: Some time ago in a world called Coventry, light and darkness were at war. That day two twins were born but to protect them and protect the future of that dimension took them to the world of earth without magic and separated them, twenty-one years later they are reunited and discover that they are sisters but happiness lasts very little since the darkness discovered that they were still alive and now seeks to kill them so Camryn and Alex must now prepare and fight to restore peace to their world, save his birth mother and return the light to Coventry.
Abracadabra
La siguiente película de las que le hablaré es un clásico de estas fechas y se trata de Abracadabra. Tal vez no tenga mucho de qué hablar ya que quien no haya visto este largometraje no tuvo infancia jaja es broma, pero definitivamente es una de las películas que siempre pero siempre veo en estas fechas, nunca puede faltar además de que Sara Jessica Parker y Bette Midler hacen un trabajo espectacular. Recientemente vi la película en Disney+ pero hubo algo que me chocó y probablemente lo haga también para aquellos que disfrutan tanto de esta historia como yo y es que el doblaje con el que crecimos mientras vimos su transmisión a través del televisor por cable es completamente diferente en su remasterización para streaming, lo cierto es que me molestó, ya no podía repetir los diálogos con comodidad y me pregunté ¿por qué lo habrán hecho? se que probablemente fue remasterizada para poder verla con una mejor calidad pero ¿por qué cambiar el doblaje que ya estaba? Leyendo sobre el tema, no encontré la razón real pero si tengo mis conjeturas puesto a que ya ha pasado antes con películas clásicas como Blancanieves y otras y se debe al contrato de los actores de doblaje con la productora ya que ellos para ese tiempo (estamos hablando de 1993) en su contrato probablemente especificaron que prestaban su voz para la producción televisiva pero con la llegada del streaming ya ese contrato no era válido por lo tanto decidieron regrabarlas por ese factor y por la mejora de la calidad del audio. Pero bueno, son cosas pequeñas que le chocarían a aquellos que crecimos con esta película pero para quienes la vean por primera vez la van a disfrutar muchisimos, ademas de que con este doblaje cambiaron ciertas frases que le darán sentido a la segunda parte.
Aunque ya me extendí mucho hablando de la pelicula jaja les contaré un poco de qué trata para aquel que me lee y aún no la ha visto: Hace mucho tiempo atrás en un pueblo llamado Salem, Binx despierta una mañana y nota que su hermana no está en la habitación, descubre que fue raptada por tres brujas quienes la hechizaron para robarle su juventud y así mismo convirtiéndolo a él en un gato negro condenado a la inmortalidad y la culpa por no haber podido salvar a su hermana pequeña. El pueblo descubre las fechorías de las tres hermanas y las llevan a la horca, sin embargo, antes de su condena ellas lanzan un hechizo: Un virgen encenderá la vela negra la noche de Halloween y ellas volverán para vengarse. Esa noche finalmente llega en 1993, Max enciende la vela y ahora él, junto a su hermanita Dani y Allison deben conseguir la manera de acabar de nuevo con las brujas y acabar con su maldición.
Esta película también tiene una segunda parte que disfrutarán muchísimo y probablemente lloren en su final como yo.
Hocus Pocus
The next movie I will talk about is a classic of these dates and it is Hocus Pocus. It may not have much to talk about since anyone who hasn't seen this movie didn't have a childhood haha just kidding, but it's definitely one of the movies I always but always watch around this time of year, you can never miss it plus Sara Jessica Parker and Bette Midler do a spectacular job. I recently watched the movie on Disney+ but there was something that shocked me and probably will also do so for those who enjoy this story as much as I do and that is that the dubbing with which we grew up while watching its transmission through cable TV is completely different in its remastering for streaming, the truth is that it bothered me, I could no longer repeat the dialogues comfortably and I wondered why they have done it? I know it was probably remastered to see it with a better quality but why change the dubbing that was already there? Reading about it, I didn't find the real reason but I have my guesses since it has happened before with classic movies like Snow White and others and it is due to the contract of the dubbing actors with the production company since they probably specified in their contract (we are talking about 1993) that they lent their voice for the television production but with the arrival of streaming that contract was no longer valid so they decided to re-record them for that factor and for the improvement of the audio quality. But well, these are small things that would shock those who grew up with this movie but for those who see it for the first time will enjoy it a lot, plus with this dubbing they changed certain phrases that will make sense to the second part.
Although I have already extended myself a lot talking about the movie haha I will tell you a little of what it is about for those who read me and still have not seen it: A long time ago in a town called Salem, Binx wakes up one morning and notices that his sister is not in the room, he discovers that she was kidnapped by three witches who bewitched her to steal her youth and thus turning him into a black cat condemned to immortality and guilt for not having been able to save his little sister. The town discovers the misdeeds of the three sisters and takes them to the gallows, however, before their condemnation they cast a spell: A virgin will light the black candle on Halloween night and they will return to take revenge. That night finally arrives in 1993, Max lights the candle and now he, along with his little sister Dani and Allison must find a way to put an end to the witches and end their curse.
This movie also has a sequel that you will enjoy very much and probably cry at the end as I did.
El Extraño Mundo de Jack
Ahora le toca al Extraño mundo de Jack, otro de los clásicos y una de las películas o mejor dicho, la película más vista en estas épocas. Una gran joya de Tim Burton.
Les hablaré un poco de qué trata esta película. Nuestro querido Rey Calabaza ha culminado con éxito otra noche de Halloween pero siente que algo le falta en su vida, atrapado en la rutina pierde el rumbo por el bosque sumido en sus pensamientos cuando llega a un lugar con diferentes puertas cada una marcada con una celebración diferente, Jack cae por una de estas puertas aterrizando en una tierra de nieve, duendes, luces brillantes y ornamentos. Emocionado con lo que descubre vuelve a la ciudad con una nueva idea, ya nunca más celebrarían la noche de brujas ahora se encargaría de la Navidad y será ¡Horroroso! Sally, una dulce joven enamorada en secreto de Jack, preocupada por su bienestar, sabe que nada de esto saldrá bien por lo tanto hace todo lo posible para salvar la situación y ayudar a Jack.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Now it's the turn of The Nightmare Before Christmas, another classic and one of the most watched movies, or rather, the most watched movie of these times. A great jewel of Tim Burton.
I will tell you a little about what this movie is about. Our beloved Pumpkin King has successfully completed another Halloween night but he feels that something is missing in his life, trapped in the routine he loses his way through the forest immersed in his thoughts when he arrives at a place with different doors each marked with a different celebration, Jack falls through one of these doors landing in a land of snow, goblins, bright lights and ornaments. Thrilled with what he discovers he returns to town with a new idea, never again would they celebrate Halloween, now he would be in charge of Christmas and it would be Horrifying! Sally, a sweet young girl secretly in love with Jack, concerned for his well being, knows that none of this will go well so she does everything she can to save the situation and help Jack.
Mansión Embrujada
Para finalizar, les recomendaré también la más reciente producción de Disney destinada para estas fechas, aunque se estrenó hace unos pocos meses en cines, desde el día de hoy cuatro de octubre la tenemos disponible para ver en la plataforma de Disney+.
Esta película está basada en el parque temático de Disney con el mismo nombre. Al ver el título de esta producción a muchos les aseguro que pensaron en la película de la Mansión Embrujada de Eddy Murphy pero no, aunque tiene ciertos guiños de esa película, ambas están inspiradas en la misma atracción, sin embargo, la trama la abarcan de una manera diferente. Una Madre y su hijo se mudan a una casa abandonada, esa misma noche descubren que el lugar está embrujado e inmediatamente huyen de allí, no obstante, vuelven a la casa puesto que los fantasmas los persiguen a donde sea que vayan. Con el fin de terminar con ello contactan a Ben quien fue un astrofísico que desarrolló una cámara que puede detectar la materia oscura pero se encuentra retirado y escéptico sobre todo lo sobrenatural. Ben, llega a la casa y sin creer en nada de lo que le cuenta la mujer hace el trabajo que le pidió y se va pero corre con la misma suerte que corrió la familia, los fantasmas lo acosaron hasta que volvió a la mansión. Ahora creyente, descubre que los fantasmas lo que quieren realmente es ayuda y Ben junto a los demás que se encuentran en la casa comienzan con el plan que acabará con el ser oscuro que se encuentra en la casa y no permite que los espíritus sigan su camino hacia el más allá.
Solo les diré que Owen Wilson forma parte del elenco y sabemos que eso significa que la película será buena. A mi me encantó, su elenco de actores es buenisimo y cumple su función de entretener, confío en que esta película será agregada a muchas listas de cosas que ver para los siguientes Halloween.
Haunted Mansion
Finally, I will also recommend the most recent Disney production destined for these dates, although it was released a few months ago in theaters, as of today, October 4th, we have it available to watch on the Disney+ platform.
This movie is based on the Disney theme park with the same name. Upon seeing the title of this production I assure you that many thought of the Eddy Murphy's Haunted Mansion movie but no, although it has certain nods of that movie, both are inspired by the same attraction, however, the plot is covered in a different way. A Mother and her son move into an abandoned house, that same night they discover that the place is haunted and immediately flee from there, however, they return to the house since ghosts haunt them wherever they go. In order to put an end to it they contact Ben who was an astrophysicist who developed a camera that can detect dark matter but is retired and skeptical about everything supernatural. Ben, arrives at the house and without believing in anything the woman tells him, does the work she asked him to do and leaves, but meets with the same fate as the family, the ghosts haunted him until he returned to the mansion. Now a believer, he discovers that what the ghosts really want is help and Ben along with the others who are in the house start with the plan that will put an end to the dark being that is in the house and does not allow the spirits to continue on their way to the afterlife.
I will just tell you that Owen Wilson is part of the cast and we know that means the movie will be good. I loved it, its cast is great and it does its job of entertaining, I am confident that this movie will be added to many lists of things to see for the next Halloween.

Una excelente selección y recomendaciones para este Halloween! Amo todas esas películas, a excepción de abracadabra xD, pero el extraño mundo de Jack y brujillizas me gustaban mucho de pequeño! Sobre todo el extraño mundo de Jack, mi mamá me cuenta que solía verla varias veces en un día. Saludos!
Sii, yo de hecho cada año intento ver algunas de las peliculas, no he dejado mi niña interior jajaja. Vimos recientemente abracadabra y ahora nos la pasamos cantando las canciones a cada rato tanto de la primera como de la segunda😂
Me parece interesante tu lista y muy canónica. La de Tim Burton es un clásico, igual que Hocus Pocus. La verdad no suelo prepararme para ver ese tipo de películas en esa fecha, pero tengo unos amigos que sí lo hacen y a veces me invitan y con ellos vi El Conjuro en una noche de brujas e Insidious en otra y me parecieron buenas películas para esas noches.
Ah! y ¿cómo olvidarlo? También puedes incluir Beetlejuice en tu lista, otro clásico del género y de la fecha. Saludos y gracias por compartir tu lista.
Lo cierto es que no soy muy amante de las películas de terror, aunque recientemente con mi esposo vimos algunas que a él si le encantan y me entretuvieron la verdad. De hecho esta lista fue más de películas de halloween de Disney para ver en familia con niños y planeo hacer una parte dos con películas pero ya más variada en incluir ese clásico que no puede faltar y otras más recientes como la de Adam Sandler. En un post leí que al extraño mundo de Jack le iban a hacer un restreno en 4k por un aniversario sería interesante verlo en alta definición.
Ay eso sería buenísimo. Yo vi que ya reestrenaron varias de sus películas clásicas por el 100 aniversario en el cine, sería algo muy lindo volver a verlas como la primera vez allí. También he notado que muchas de las películas clásicas fueron remasterizadas para verlas en streaming y la verdad parece como si las hubieran hecho recientemente.
