(ENG/SPA) Kaoru Kamiya is The Feelings of Kenshin Himura Character Review
Kaoru Kamiya is a character of various versions of Rurouni Kenshin that despite being the representation in soul and ideals of the Samurai with an X-shaped scar on his cheek goes somewhat unnoticed before the show in battles that this story offers, in this review I dedicate a tribute to her because I think she is more than a character who embraces the protagonist in emotional moments because it is she who allows us to truly know Kenshin's conviction to make people live happily.
I think this is one of the many true messages that this story wants to convey, which is why it reaches so many people and will continue to do so for generations in more adapted versions that are released over the years. I recently re-watched the first chapter of Rurouni Kenshin in the version that has just been recently released on Netflix where I noticed an ideal of power in that 'first chapter, a reflection that I will share with you below.
Kaoru Kamiya es un personaje de variadas versiones de Rurouni Kenshin que a pesar de ser la representación en alma e ideales de El Samurai con una cicatriz con forma de X en la mejilla pasa en cierta forma desapercibida ante el espectáculo en batallas que ofrece esta historia, en esta reseña le dedico un tributo a ella porque pienso es mas que un personaje que abraza en momentos emocionales al protagonista porque es ella quien nos permite verdaderamente conocer la convicción de Kenshin por lograr que la gente viva feliz.
Esto último pienso es uno de los tantos verdaderos mensajes que quiere transmitir esta historia, por eso llega a tantas personas y lo seguirá haciendo por generaciones en mas versiones adaptadas que se van estrenando con el pasar de los años. Recientemente volví a ver el primer capítulo de Rurouni Kenshin en la versión que recientemente se acaba de estrenar en Netflix donde note un ideal de poder en ese primer capítulo, una reflexión que a continuación compartiré con ustedes.
The most important thing in life is to be happy surrounded by people who want you to be happy.
We live in an environment that pressures us to look for money constantly and this last one makes us too realistic which brings as a consequence that we are cruel, that we forget those who helped us, we forget how they supported us because we are blind in achieving greater stability and comfort, the conflicts that in that first chapter are reflected with battles of swords, at the present time are executed with battles of ideals where our voices hurt those closer to us.
Kaoru is just that Light Feeling that speaks and transmits an innocent, pure, crystalline ideal that is not to fight, not to hate each other, the famous No Killing that in so many stories varied characters of other franchises in conviction fight to achieve but I think they are not honest as in this anime.
Kenshin I think assimilates Kaoru's feelings, Kamiya's ideal and embraces him, that's where this story begins so beautiful in feelings between the two of them where it is true that Kenshin is the protagonist but Kaoru is the horizon of the true message that this anime seeks to leave in us which is that you should be happy.
Lo mas importante de vivir es ser feliz rodeado de las personas que quieren de corazón que seas feliz.
Vivimos en un entorno que nos presiona a buscar dinero constantemente y esto último nos hace demasiado realistas lo cual trae como consecuencia que seamos crueles, que olvidemos a quienes nos ayudaron, olvidemos el como nos apoyaron porque estamos ciegos en lograr mayor estabilidad y comodidad, los conflictos que en ese primer capítulo se reflejan con batallas de espadas, en la actualidad se ejecutan con batallas de ideales donde nuestras voces hieren a aquellos mas cercanos a nosotros.
Kaoru es justamente ese Sentimiento de Luz que habla y transmite un ideal inocente, puro, cristalino que es el no pelear, el no odiarse, el famoso No Matar que en tantas historias variados personajes de otras franquicias en convicción luchan por lograr pero pienso no son honestos como en este anime.
Kenshin pienso asimila los sentimientos de Kaoru, el ideal de Kamiya y lo abraza, es allí donde inicia esta historia tan linda en sentimientos entre ellos dos donde sí es verdad que Kenshin es el protagonista pero Kaoru es el horizonte del verdadero mensaje que este anime busca dejar en nosotros el cual es que seas feliz.
Yes, it is true that this is a story with a well established narrative depth by bringing philosophies and politics to sword battles but at the end of that true happiness is in what Kaoru's character represents, at the end of the day you too struggle to make someone happy that is not you, a someone that can be your wife, your husband, your sons, your daughters, your mother or your father.... in the end there is always someone that drives us to follow.
Kaoru Kamiya is a beautiful character and well written in her moments of impact because as I said before, to follow her ideal is to follow fantasy, the reality is another and at some point in our lives we are destined to do emotional damage to those closest to us, it is part of the experiences because if there is something that forges eternal bonds is forgiveness.... Kaoru teaches with the purest of naivety all this.
She is a character that I think anime fans sympathize a lot with her but she does not have the great relevance she deserves because the visual spectacle of the battles predominates.... us men always focused on the fights haha.
- Kaoru Represents The Family
What I recommend when watching or thinking about this anime, is to observe beyond the fights, when the story takes the calm while it guides us to the following conflicts, that's when we can notice the family nucleus that Kaoru forges.
She is the emotional pillar of the anime as she holds all the characters and keeps them together, constantly Kenshin is tormented by his past and she is the one who balances the scales, she takes all the characters and makes them a family.
Sí, es verdad que esta es una historia con una profundidad narrativa bien establecida al llevar las filosofías y la política a batallas con espada pero al final de eso la verdadera felicidad esta en lo que representa el personaje de Kaoru, al final del día tu también luchas por hacer feliz a alguien que no eres tu, un alguien que puede ser tu esposa, tu esposo, tus hijos, tus hijas, tu madre o tu padre.... a la final siempre hay alguien que nos impulsa a seguir.
Kaoru Kamiya es una personaje preciosa y bien escrita en sus momentos de impacto porque como dije anteriormente, seguir su ideal es seguir fantasía, la realidad es otra y en algún punto de nuestras vidas estamos destinados a hacer daño emocional a aquellos mas cercanos a nosotros, es parte de las experiencias porque si hay algo que forja lazos eternos es el perdón.... Kaoru enseña con la mas pura de las ingenuidades todo esto.
Es un personaje que los fan del anime considero simpatizan mucho con ella pero no tiene la gran relevancia que merece porque predomina el espectáculo visual de las batallas.... nosotros los hombres siempre enfocados en las peleas jaja.
- Kaoru Representa La Familia
Lo que recomiendo al ver o pensar en este anime, es observar mas allá de las peleas, cuando la historia toma la calma mientras nos guía a los siguientes conflictos, allí es cuando podemos notar el núcleo familiar que forja Kaoru.
Ella es el pilar emocional del anime ya que sostiene a todos los personajes y los mantiene unidos, constantemente Kenshin se ve atormentado por su pasado y es ella la que equilibra sí o sí la balanza, toma a todos los personajes y los hace ser una familia.
These types of elements are things to highlight because the author managed to make all of the above appealing. As I mentioned earlier, I've been watching the episodes and there are several where the battles take a while but watching Kaoru go about her daily life in her Dojo isn't boring to me, in fact it's very entertaining and that's only accomplished by a well constructed mother element narratively speaking.
- Kaoru is Sentimentally Amusing
Just this point that I want to talk about can be seen in the gif where you can see how a moment or dark scene, with emotional depth in what she wants to convey, Kaoru fits and complements perfectly the humor of the anime, I will always rescue that of her because it was what I valued the most when I was a child and I met her in this story, now as an adult I value the other elements and ideals that make up the character and that I already named in previous points of this review but the way of representing her humor is characteristic of the character and should be named.
- Details to criticize about Kaoru
I'm a man and I want to see battles so Kaoru interrupts me some of them haha, this at least twice happened to me, I admire Kaoru for all the feelings she has but there are moments that escalate in the anime to maximum adrenaline levels and Kaoru is like a bucket of cold water haha, maybe someone while reading me laughs and that's the idea because I'm sure she knows it's like that.... Kaoru please don't interrupt my battles haha.
I hope this detail of humor in my opinion about the character made you laugh to balance the seriousness in emotions with which I started the post associated with the naive and fantastic convictions of Kaoru but it is a character with a lot of tenderness, does not fall into the vulgar giving category and many feelings to this great story.
Este tipo de elementos son cosas a destacar porque el autor logro hacer atractivo todo lo anterior. Como mencione anteriormente, he estado viendo los episodios y hay varios que las batallas se hacen esperar pero ver a Kaoru hacer su vida cotidiana en su Dojo no es aburrido para mi, de hecho es muy entretenido y eso solo lo logra un elemento madre bien construido narrativamente hablando.
- Kaoru es Sentimentalmente Divertida
Justo este punto del que quiero hablar lo pueden ver en el gif donde notan como un momento o escena oscuro, con profundidad emocional en lo que quiere trasmitir, Kaoru engrana y complementa perfectamente el humor del anime, siempre rescatare eso de ella porque fue lo que mas valore cuando estaba niño y la conocí en esta historia, ya ahora de adulto valoro el resto de elementos e ideales que componen al personaje y que ya nombre en anteriores puntos de esta reseña pero la forma de representar su humor es característico del personaje y se debe nombrar.
- Detalles a Criticar de Kaoru
Soy hombre y quiero ver batallas entonces Kaoru me interrumpe algunas de ellas jaja, esto por lo menos dos veces me paso, admiro a Kaoru por todos los sentimientos que tiene pero hay momentos que escalan en el anime a niveles de adrenalina máxima y Kaoru es como un valde de agua fría jaja, puede alguno mientras me lee se ría y esa es la idea porque estoy seguro sabe que es así.... Kaoru por favor no me interrumpas las batallas jaja.
Espero este detalle de humor en mi opinión sobre el personaje te haya hecho reír para equilibrar la seriedad en emociones con la que inicie el post asociado a las convicciones ingenuas y fantaseosas de Kaoru pero es un personaje con mucha ternura, no cae en lo vulgar dándole categoría y muchos sentimientos a esta gran historia.

I'll admit, I didn't really pay attention to Kaoru when watching, but I just might might view her in a new light now.
as a child my attention was drawn to the battles but it is now as an adult that I understand Kaoru's social sensitivity, which is vital to the story and complements Kenshin to justify the fact that she does not kill..... for me that Kenshin kills haha but who justifies in the narrative that conviction of not killing I think is Kaoru, I loved seeing Kaoru again to understand her better

Kaoru forever, I used to focus on the battles but now that I have seen her again I fell in love with Kaoru's conviction 😍 because she is not just words, she acts as far as her willpower can and complements Kenshin's intention
