Because Pump doesn't last long, some sell everything, while staked HIVE takes about 3 months to become liquid. So there is no way of knowing if it fell because it was a Pump and Dump, or because some holders sold and the price dropped.
that's just typical human foolishness and greed. It's a certain type of people, and there's nothing you can do about it. They want to earn from staking, and sell immediately during a pump. If you want to sell, just power down in advance, and there won't be any problems.

It's #monday. Time flies. I managed to get a post out this morning before work and stumbled across the badges. Green for weekly author because it's monday.
Gonna give it a try to get a daily post out this week. Challenging with the holidays. If I can do that, I can do every week.
Made about 55 #Hive trading on the internal market in the last week. Trying to do a better job of tracking it so the exact number is still a little fuzzy. Never been much of a trader so I am cautiously optimistic that I can continue with some gains. 🤑
I'm using pretty small amounts (50-100 Hive, 2 or three trades at a time) and the worst I think can happen is some hive will get stuck as HBD. Then I will just stick it in savings and earn 15% APR. :)
Yeah, I'm keeping it as low key as possible. Mostly set up small trades with the advance tab and check back every so often. A lot of them happen while I'm asleep so I can't screw it up. lol.
It seems the business model of charging $70, selling season pass, and other nonsense. Then delivering a buggy game is not working out. Who could of guess? Anyone with 2 brain cells.
You would think they could at least make a decent game with that kind of money. It being a Star Wars game how much effort should it have even taken to get fans to play it.

Rumors are floating around of some games looking into going F2P. While also dropping: season passes, and P2W. Along with making major game changes in favor of selling cosmetic only items.
It's so funny how, when a cryptocurrency is cheap, people see it as a scam, something nobody wants, with no prospects. But once its price increases 10, 50, or 100 times, that's when it suddenly becomes a promising investment. 🤣

Their new GPUs are the best value for your buck and will definitely end up in many budget builds until something like 5060 comes along which is at lest 5-6 months our from now.

Gamers are not buying Intel gpus. They don’t even want to buy their cpus after what they pulled previous generation.
They are buying, you should be more up to date in your research. B580 already sold out. There is a very high demand for it.
It’s a $250 gpu in a market where $400 is the bottom of the barrel. Of course they will sell out. But no one wants an Intel gpu. They are settling. Besides I highly doubt the b580 even makes a dent on their bottom line.

Every time HIVE has a Pump I read some posts, comments and there are always some who are a bit resentful and angry...
Are they angry because the hive has gone up? What exactly are they angry about?
Because Pump doesn't last long, some sell everything, while staked HIVE takes about 3 months to become liquid. So there is no way of knowing if it fell because it was a Pump and Dump, or because some holders sold and the price dropped.
that's just typical human foolishness and greed. It's a certain type of people, and there's nothing you can do about it. They want to earn from staking, and sell immediately during a pump. If you want to sell, just power down in advance, and there won't be any problems.
I understand the logic, it makes sense. I don't usually make trades or anything like that, I just post, vote and comment on people's snaps or posts. I just prefer the low value hive so I can build up HP.
Alway's going to be some negatives with the positives! Just frustration with most of these peoples views I believe, as everybody would like to make money when we can

I suppose the ones who complain are those who weren’t prepared for it. Hive, like any other crypto, is volatile. Price pumps and dumps are bound to happen from time to time, and they should simply accept it.

The web version works—I haven’t tested the scheduled publishing feature, but drafts work perfectly. As for the counter, I don’t think it’s possible to create one because "quality content" is a subjective term. Personally, I access PeakD through the Keychain wallet, convenient.

like i imagine having like 5 different posts going where i spend the week building them each in a different community (example: skatehive, nature, foodies, garden, travel)
There are some people who do this, posting in a different community every day. I think it's interesting, although it's a lot of work, and you'll certainly be seen in lots of different places.
This is a great strategy to demonstrate versatility in producing content for the ecosystem, get more visibility and create networking (which is a key factor, I would say).
so many hive users still dont realize they get rewarded for upvoting content. its one of the most amazing things about the protocol.
A lot of people only think about posting and don't interact much. I've learned over time that voting and interacting is also good for helping and motivating people.
Maybe because in caveman times there was no such thing as an upvote with curation rewards, all this stuff was just created in the blink of an eye and is going to take evolution a lot more time to catch up.
Many people have not yet learned this "magic".
Everything is going very well, without missing a single claim day. We are suddenly approaching Christmas. Yes, the month is passing quickly and a new year full of adventures and emotions awaits us!

Walden by Thoreau. A) It was such a peaceful read and I often imagine being able to do what he did. B) A couple of years after reading it, I found out it was my grandfather's favorite book! I didn't know my grandfather intimately, so this commonality brings me comfort.

I have the problem of having so many videos and photos to share, but I have to export them, then turn them into jpg from RAW, export again in the new format, then all the writing stuff. Suddenly half the day is gone. I don't do posts like this most of the time for that reason. 😅
This is kinda sad. I mean, we delivery quality post and most of the times don't get the recognition we deserve (and I'm not even talk only about money).

It seems someone cashed out a load of points from our Nectar loyalty card. I've heard other cases of this, but no idea how it happened. We should get them back anyway. It's not worth a huge sum, but it's a nice little bonus. The crooks seem to find it worthwhile.

I preferred to create just one big challenge, I think I can manage 8k in a year, but if you think about it, the more effective hp the faster it will be achieved, I think it's possible to reach 20k in 12 months, so I think it's simpler to focus on that.
Definitely! For myself though I lack the inspiration to post a lot of the time, only had 2000- some HP previously from author rewards/curation until my Power UP a few months back. So I don't think even in a year I could gain 5,000 without purchasing to powerup 😂
The important thing is that you've done a tremendous power up and that's made your profile much stronger and helped the community. If more people had the same desire to grow as you did, it's already more complicated for me to buy, so I'll just go for the posts and interaction.

It's #monday. Time flies. I managed to get a post out this morning before work and stumbled across the badges. Green for weekly author because it's monday.
Gonna give it a try to get a daily post out this week. Challenging with the holidays. If I can do that, I can do every week.
Made about 55 #Hive trading on the internal market in the last week. Trying to do a better job of tracking it so the exact number is still a little fuzzy. Never been much of a trader so I am cautiously optimistic that I can continue with some gains. 🤑

I'm using pretty small amounts (50-100 Hive, 2 or three trades at a time) and the worst I think can happen is some hive will get stuck as HBD. Then I will just stick it in savings and earn 15% APR. :)
I have never been a trader, and even though those occasional gains look (potentially) tempting, I am not planning to become one.
Yeah, I'm keeping it as low key as possible. Mostly set up small trades with the advance tab and check back every so often. A lot of them happen while I'm asleep so I can't screw it up. lol.

Rumors are floating around of some games looking into going F2P. While also dropping: season passes, and P2W. Along with making major game changes in favor of selling cosmetic only items.
In Gaming: The moment you see a surprising success and you try to emulate it/chase the trend, you already failed.
Games take too long to develop to be this plausible strategy at all...
