i think it would be a useful option to be able to choose (in settings) the default view. So for instance, on my mobile PWA and probably laptop too, i would choose Snaps as the page to open. You could even set Snaps to be the default post for all.

I honestly lost count of all of the days but it happens at least once a week (last 2 days were missed) and I also didn't receive the payouts from several weeks ago when payouts were not distributed for over a week. Not blaming leo per se, but don't want this to happen again.

I would like to believe that, but that has not been my experience so far. I have had this problem over the years; opened tickets etc. Either I am very unlucky or there is a more systemic error with more users affected. Either way, thanks for the hard work with inleo!

Recording birdsong in the park this morning (in Hoquiam, Wash.), and this tiny Douglas squirrel came by to announce my presence. Too bad I only had my wide angle lens on the camera. The sound came out great though; I'll be sharing on my 3Speak channel.
This particular shot was taken without any macro, with my “regular” lens (Canon EF-S 18-135mm), which is never macro. I also sometimes use my 70-300mm to take pictures of insects, especially dragonflies, and it turns out really well.
It's a good thing when you don't have time to fiddle with all this macro stuff, and you need to do something on the fly - like if it works, it's good. Although I also have macro rings and a reversible ring, I use them when I have time and inspiration.

I have a zoom lens on my mirrorless camera and also extension rings which allows me to make nice macros.
I usually take it with me in my backyard in summer to shoot some bugs.
So in macro, light is pain. I even bought myself an old manual fast lens - it's three years older than me, but it gives good results. And also another side is my laziness, because I'm a little bit lazy, which macro requires, or, for example, birdwatching.

A snap that I created in a community yesterday didn't appear in the "generic newest snaps" feed. I didn't' think too much of it but reading this makes me wonder if snaps in communities are only visible when explicitly browsing to those communities' snaps feed.

A snap that I created in a community yesterday didn't appear in the "generic newest snaps" feed. I didn't' think too much of it but reading this makes me wonder if snaps in communities are only visible when explicitly browsing to those communities' snaps feed.

Zomboid is so good. I played it for roughly 10 hours and feel like I only scratched the surface with how deep and realistic it is. I got to like 8 or 9 days survived.

I think that guy is probably exaggerating. From my understanding there will be some minor issues with satellites and power grids, probably more skin cancer than we'd like, but nothing causing us to plummet into extinction.

Natural chaos. The real reset. One that is outside all of our control, but how we respond is our choice.

What is your solution for today against that?
The fact this mindset of 'the ruling class should save us' perpetuates, is probably why we're in a lot of the mess we're in, but that's another topic.
If such a fantastical concept did happen... sounds like the kind of situation most people would have to improvise, including me!

If I had to pinpoint one moment that signaled the fall of Ubisoft I'd have to point to The Fate of Atlantis DLC for AC Odyssey. While the DLC is somewhat meh, it paved way for the Odin storyline in Valhalla which sucked ass. They never should have went full into mythology.
My brother played Valhalla and he liked it, so I thought it's maybe decent. Still, there's a lot of hate for it online, so I dunno what to think.
I think Assassin's Creed peaked at IV Black Flag.
Valhalla is the furthest thing from an AC game that you could get. It was really bad mostly because the game felt so drawn out.
I tried Valhalla since it was in the PS+ catalog but didn't even get through the intro. Forgot how much I dislike stealth based games.
Oh you probably would have hated valhalla if you kept playing it. Turns out the protagonist is really "Odin" it just goes completely off the rails.

What are your thoughts on the use of AI for #book covers? do you think it is less creative?
I'm starting to feel less negatively about AI than I used to. There's a different kind of art to prompting well. It's like a tech nerd seeing code as a form of art where musicians might not. I don't like artists being replaced by AI simply for publishers to spend less.
I think that is where people draw the line. We've been reading about a case in Indonesia where a big publisher was using AI to promote books. We think it can be quite distasteful.

I don't have an easy way to completely fix it. But will make it better in the next update so at least the original link is visible 🙏
