Our Oceans is a documentary recently released on Netflix and little has been said about it, with this review I echo that production recently released on Netflix where I see the marketing effort to get these documentaries with their valuable knowledge and love in this case for the Oceans to large audiences using as the core of the documentary episodes to know how the different Oceans of our Planet work and have been shaped.
Una Reflexión bajo el mar, pienso que los océanos son como nosotros mismos porque muy poco conocemos de como verdaderamente funcionamos, sabemos que nuestro corazón late pero de allí en mas te haz preguntado el como es ese proceso natural del recorrido de la sangre en tu organismo, con esa pregunta en mente la curiosidad la extrapolo al océano ya que admiramos lo azul que es, disfrutamos de las playas, tomamos muchas fotos de esos paisajes que nos inspiran pero te haz preguntado alguna vez como funcionan los Océanos de nuestro planeta....
Our Oceans es un documental recientemente estrenado en Netflix y del que poco se ha hablado, con esta reseña me hago eco de esa producción recientemente estrenada en Netflix donde veo el esfuerzo en marketing para lograr hacer llegar estos documentales con su valioso conocimiento y amor en este caso por los Océanos hacia grandes audiencias usando como núcleo de los episodios del documental el conocer como funcionan y se han moldeado los distintos Océanos de nuestro Planeta.
It is a documentary that adorns its scientific pillar with the beauty of nature and the life of the various fish in it, in itself all natural documentaries use this as a hypnotic element that captures all those who admire the wonders of our planet.
Now this documentary has as an added value the explanations of how the ocean currents complement the correct functioning of the ecosystems, this is the horizon that wants to teach and make Our Oceans known to the viewers.
I loved the approach because I have seen several ocean documentaries where the vast majority focus on marine life, for example how they are born, live, courtship cycle of various species, in other documentaries focus on preservation and awareness for the care of global waters but this documentary gave me something I had not seen, the stages in detail of these famous ocean currents and how its passage around the globe shapes the landscapes and life.
In detail and with their names throughout the oceanic route you will know in this documentary the influence of these ocean currents in the life of the planet, this is the biggest attraction offered by the documentary.
Es un documental que adorna su pilar científico con la belleza de la naturaleza y la vida de los variados peces en ella, en sí todos los documentales naturales usan esto como elemento hipnótico que captura a todos aquellos que admiran las maravillas de nuestro planeta.
Ahora este documental tiene como valor agregado es las explicaciones de como las corrientes oceánicas complementan el correcto funcionamiento de los ecosistemas, esto es el horizonte que quiere enseñar y dar a conocer Our Oceans a los espectadores.
Me encanto el enfoque porque he visto variados documentales de océanos donde la vasta mayoría se enfoca en la vida marina, por ejemplo como nacen, viven, ciclo de cortejo de variadas especies, en otros documentales se enfocan en la preservación y concientización para el cuidado de las aguas mundiales pero este documental me dio algo que no había visto, Las Etapas a detalles de esas famosas Corrientes Marinas y el como su paso por todo el globo moldea los paisajes y la vida.
En detalle y con sus nombres por todo el recorrido oceánico conocerás en este documental la influencia de esas corrientes oceánicas en la vida del planeta, este es el mayor atractivo que ofrece el documental.
- The Underwater Cameramen
I see the cameramen themselves as heroes without a cape, they are like nameless faces that capture the best moments of the scenes and stories, in the cinema they can go unnoticed because everything is more prefabricated but I share with you in the youtube video the Behind The Scenes where one of them tells us his experience, the work of these great professionals in the case of documentaries where for the natural topic the artificial scenarios change drastically to real scenarios with latent dangers which is something that always shocks me.
Just imagine being in the ocean filming and that various marine species pass by you, if you have ever been afraid of a dog while walking in the street because you think it might bite you, imagine what these cameramen have to face underwater.... always when I watch these documentaries I say to myself with great impression WoW!!! this scene I just saw someone recorded it, someone was there and filmed that Humpback Whale or other marine species in various dangerous marine scenarios.
- Los Camarógrafos Submarinos
Veo a los camarógrafos en sí como héroes sin capa, son como rostros sin nombre que captan los mejores momentos de las escenas e historias, en el cine pueden pasar mas desapercibido porque todo es mas prefabricado pero te comparto en el video de youtube el Behind The Scenes donde uno de ellos nos cuenta su experiencia, el trabajo de estos grandes profesionales en el caso de documentales donde para el tópico natural los escenarios artificiales cambian drásticamente a escenarios reales con peligros latentes lo cual es algo que siempre me impacta.
Solo imagina estar en el Océano filmando y que variadas especies marinas pasen junto a ti, si le haz temido alguna vez a algún perro mientras paseabas en la calle porque piensas te puede morder, imagina lo que estos camarógrafos tienen que enfrentar bajo el agua.... siempre que miro estos documentales me digo a mi mismo con mucha impresión WoW!! esta escena que acabo de ver alguien la grabo, alguien estuvo allí y filmo a esa Ballena Jorobada u otras especies marinas en variados escenarios marinos peligrosos.
- Barack Obama is The Narrator
This really surprised me haha, I think it seems right for this documentary in order to make it reach more people the inclusion of Barack Obama former president of the United States as Narrator, I saw the documentary when Netflix suggested it to me, I did not look much into the details and just started watching, the voice of the narrator seemed right but I did not recognize it, I emphasize listen to the documentary in its original language and for a moment I thought of Morgan Freeman haha I've heard him in other documentaries like Our Universe.
The point is that I enjoyed Our Oceans without knowing who the narrator was and when I happily go to look for the details of the documentary I see the picture of Barack Obama there promoting Our Oceans haha, are those things that you do not expect, I like how in documentaries they play with the narrators to generate more marketing or advertising for that documentary.
I think Obama does a good job as a narrator, the humorous moments under the ocean are told with jocularity which is accurate for a general light audience and the moments that require the scientific approach I managed to understand what he wanted to convey and I think that applies to that part of the audience more demanding as I am in the elements of knowledge offered by this product.
Enjoy Our Oceans on Netflix, it's 5 one-hour episodes with underwater adventures for everyone and I applaud Netflix's intention to keep bringing this type of material that truly enriches the minds of its general audience.
- Barack Obama es El Narrador
Esto vaya que me sorprendió bastante jaja, pienso me parece acertado para este documental con el objetivo de hacerlo llegar a mas personas la inclusión de Barack Obama ex presidente de Estados Unidos como Narrador, vi el documental cuando Netflix me lo sugirió, no me fije mucho en los detalles y solo empecé a ver, la voz del narrador me pareció acertada pero no la reconocía, hago énfasis escuche el documental en su idioma original y por un momento pensé en Morgan Freeman jaja que lo he escuchado en otros documentales como Our Universe.
El punto es que disfrute de Our Oceans sin saber quien era el Narrador y cuando voy felizmente a buscar los detalles del documental veo la foto de Barack Obama allí promocionando Our Oceans jaja, son de esas cosas que no te esperas, me agrada el como en los documentales se juega con los narradores para generar un mayor marketing o publicidad de ese documental.
Pienso que Obama hace una buena labor como Narrador, los momentos jocosos bajo los océano los relata con jocosidad lo cual es acertado para una audiencia general ligera y los momentos que requieren el enfoque científico le logre entender lo que me quería transmitir y pienso eso aplica para esa parte de la audiencia mas exigente como yo en los elementos de conocimiento que ofrece este producto.
Disfruta de Our Oceans en Netflix, son 5 episodios de una hora con aventuras submarinas para todos y aplaudo la intención de Netflix de seguir trayendo este tipo de material que verdaderamente enriquecen la mente de su audiencia general.
