Seven Doors
Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗
I am not someone who watches movies because of the hype; mostly when movies are overhyped, I usually lose interest watching them, but somehow I had to watch this particular movie because of the number of reviews about it online, and a few days ago I got a glimpse of a scene while my younger sister was watching the movie, so last night I decided to also watch the movie. I must say i didn't regret watching it
Seven Doors (2024) is a limited Nollywood series that is produced by Femi Adebayo.
Summary of the movie
Seven Doors tells a story about a man called Adedunjoye who lived a simple life with his lovely wife and two beautiful children (a boy and a girl).
He was visited by some elders who told him they wanted him to be their king, but he turned down the offer. After several persuasions from his wife, he agreed to be their king.
After he became the king, he started experiencing different challenges, including losing his only beloved daughter to the cold hands of death. He spoke to the ifa (chief priest) about it, who told him he needed to knock at seven doors to appease the spirit of the late seven wives of his forefather, who were wrongly killed.
My review and rating
I must say that the cast did a wonderful job; everyone of the actors brought their A game.
The opening of the scene was a bit scary for me, the sight of seven women falling from a waterfall height and dashing their bodies on rocks and with blood spilled everywhere.
The movie shows that life is spiritual; either people accept it or not. A lot of people fighting battles they know nothing about. There are some heights that if you don't attain In life, your life will be at peace, but the moment you choose to grow, all the whole problems come knocking at your door. Adedunjoye's world turned upside down the moment he agreed to become the king.
In all seven doors is a good movie i would recommend. I rate the movie 9/10

Honestly, Nigerians are doing well in the movie industry now and I love that for we Africans. The recent Nigerian shows are of high quality and the plots are just amazing.
