Movie Review: News of the World (2020)

After a while, I am here to share another review, this time for a drama.

News of the World - starring Tom Hanks

This 2020 movie was nominated for 4 Oscars and has 80 nominations.
A beautifully created movie with realistic direction, great costumes and photography and a good, touching scenario.

It takes place during the civil war and Tom Hanks is a veteran who agrees to deliver a girl taken by the Kiowa people years ago to her aunt and uncle against her will.

The girl, raised by the Kiowa (now dead) had lost all her family in the past and does not have other relatives.

Together, they travel hundreds of miles and face grave dangers as they search for a place that either can call home.

The move genre is action, adventure, western, drama.

I will tell you one thing.
It was late and I wanted to sleep, but I stayed and watched the full movie.

Apart from some moments when I could not dare to watch, I watched all the movie to the very end.

If you enjoy westerns, dramas, if you like Tom Hanks as an actor - then I fully recommend it. And if you are a bit sentimental as me, get ready to shed a few tears.

I would give this movie a full 7 out of 10, maybe a little more.
