La película tiene escenas tristes, conmovedoras, que te hacen enojar y también otras que te harán reír mucho como la del pie de 💩, estoy segura de que si te has visto esta película aunque sea una vez, te vas a acordar de esa mítica escena, que la verdad a mi me hace sentir un poco de satisfacción. Si bien en su mayoría, las personas blancas en esta película son hostiles, también hay buenas personas como lo son Celia o Skeeter.
One thing I don't quite understand (and this may be a bit of a spoiler) is that in one part of the movie, one of the women from white families makes a proposal to make a separate bathroom exclusively for the maids because "they have different diseases" that is, they could transmit different diseases to them as if they were an animal, but, even so, if they had to clean their house, make their food and even raise their children, then if they didn't transmit diseases? That definitely doesn't make any sense to me and I don't think it would to anyone in their right mind.
Una cosa que no entiendo muy bien (y esto puede ser algo de spoiler) es que en una parte de la película, una de las mujeres de familias blancas hace una propuesta de hacer un baño alejado exclusivamente para las sirvientas porque "tienen enfermedades distintas" o sea, podían transmitirles enfermedades diferentes como si de un animal se tratase, pero, aun así si tenían que limpiar su casa, hacer su comida e incluso criar a sus hijos, ¿ahí si no transmitían enfermedades? If there is something I have to highlight about this movie, it is the splendid performances, especially Viola Davis, but also Bryce Dallas Howard who really made us hate Hilly Holdbrook with her great performance. The film manages to reflect both the good and the bad in human beings. "The Help" is relevant even today as it tackles themes of discrimination, friendship and bravery.
Si algo tengo que destacar de esta película, son las esplendidas actuaciones, especialmente la de Viola Davis, también hay que reconocer a Bryce Dallas Howard que realmente nos hizo odiar a Hilly Holdbrook con su estupenda interpretación. La película logra reflejar tanto lo bueno como lo malo del ser humano. "Historias Cruzadas" es relevante incluso hoy, ya que aborda temas de discriminación, amistad y valentía.
