Breaking Every Chain... Movie review.

After the loss of his father as a young boy, facing countless horrific death scenes in the line of duty, and the death of his son, Jonathan turned to the world for answers, but finds only darkness.

It's not often I watch a Christian movie that touches me deeply but I tell you this one is definitely worth watching. It has won 25 awards in international film festivals and Christian film festivals, and is based on a true life story of a man who struggles against his personal demons before finding redemption, through faith.

Story Plot;

Jonathan Hickory is a dedicated police officer who had everything going for him, a good job, a loving wife, and a great family. But beneath the surface, he's cracked up by years of exposure to crime and the pressures that come with his job.

At the darkest moment of his life, he sits all by himself, his gun in his hand, ready to pull the trigger and blow his brains off. Just as he is about to give in to despair, he is overwhelmed by a divine presence, he felt that small still voice speaking to him. He breaks down in tears, realizing he cannot continue down this path, to destruction.

He went from being an alcoholic, cheating on his wife, nearly losing his job, and nearly committing suicide, to being saved by the power of Christ, and then becoming a man whose life is completely turned around.

My review;

When life happens, forces beyond our control can shape our responses, either for good or for bad! This movie reminds us that something greater than us exists and even in the darkest times, we can be guided back home by his shining light,

For me, this is a very strong spiritual and emotional message, of redemption and of second chances. A very inspiring one at that! Don't miss this!!!

I rate it 9/10.

I always appreciate your comments and support.

Looks like something the Kendrick brothers would do. I'm a huge fan of their work. Nice review
