Cine TV Community Spotlight #21
Hello and welcome to the 21ST edition of Cine TV Community Spotlight. The Cine TV Spotlight Series has begun in a bid to boost engagement and interaction in the community and showcase the work of deserving authors.
And it’s all simple. At the end of every week, we spotlight works by authors based on the content, originality, style, and word count. It is not a contest but just our way of creating exposure for the works we enjoyed throughout the week and boosting exceptionally written content by our authors. Simply put, give it your best and have fun while at it, and then we showcase your work here.
So, in no particular order, here are the authors spotlighted for this week:

Title: Who's Your Favourite
Adam Elliot is an incredible artist and director. I think he has only made two films telling the story of a snail, but his two films are extraordinary, with a beauty and an innocence that reminds me a little of Forrest Gump's narration telling his life story. Memoirs of a snail shows us the life of Grace, who was separated from her Siamese brother at birth, and from there we see how with humor and with a simple but cute story, Grace takes confidence in herself telling us parts of her life in a stop motion that is as tender as hypnotic.

Title: Prisoners
If I give my suggestions about this movie, then in the beginning I found the movie quite boring because you will see that in the beginning the movie is limited to only a few people. Like the agent who is investigating this case does everything alone and he does not have any team and I do not understand how a single agent can do so much. This movie could have been better in the beginning and those people could have done something in it due to which many people do not get interested in the beginning and they lose interest and skip the movie.

Title: Adele Red
Uche Montana is a great actress. Her face card is one that keeps delivering. Her facial expressions, body language and diction are impeccable. I must say that I’m impressed by John Ekanem’s performance here as the pastor. He interpreted that role believably well. I’m even more impressed at the narrative this film gave about the fact that some Pastors actually are able to fight the urge to commit sexual immorality.

Title: Lisabi
One thing I love is the storyline. I mean, the history and the way they acted it. They did it in a way that it portrays a typical olden days movie and if you’re the type that gets carried away by movies, you are likely to think that you are in the ancient days realm. Here, I mean the language, mode of dressing, way of living and so many more. Unfortunately, there is something I hate about the movie and it is that not all of them were good with the dialect. At some point, some of those actors started to switch dialets in just a movie that they all were supposed to have a uniform dialect because the history it tells is about a place where they all speak a particular dialect.

Title: The Night Clerk: Captivating Yet Underwhelming
Like most murder mysteries, there's always a femme fatale and Ana de Armas plays this role beautifully. She often does in all her movies. She's sexy, appears vulnerable even and convincing such that Bart becomes infatuated with her. Their chemistry is sizzling and convincing. They are interesting and keep the audience's attention such that we almost missed the killer and don't immediately realise Andrea's connection in the story until later. I enjoy how the story unfolds and particularly commend Ana de Armas’ and Sheridan's acting but I kept waiting for the film to go a little further.

Title: Hijack '93
What I loved about the movie was the decision by the Nigerian Army to negotiate for the release of only 10 passengers. At first, I thought it was a selfish move to only care for the lives of some well-known people while leaving the rest to fight for themselves, but it turned out to be a strategic move. Getting the release of the passengers was their way of building trust with the hijackers. Selecting the release of the hostages allowed the authorities to buy time, gather intelligence and plan a rescue operation.

Title: Sing Sing
But, what do I mean by this? I already said that it brings an interesting proposal and that it has a different production, but I have not explained why, and that is that the characters in the film, not counting Divine G, were cast by the same prisoners who attended the Sing Sing reformation program. It is a true story shown with the real people on which the film is based and that seems to me already incredible, but from my soul it has something that touches me personally, and that is that living in Venezuela and at some point in my life having done a play, you understand that theater DOES change your life, and not only that, but in turn (at least me) you connect with that theater production that is all rushed, poorly made and with low costs.

That's funny @cinetv 😊😁👍. You rushed and created a little confusion.
