What a crazy week...

I returned to Kyiv Monday morning ("You are Mondays of my life..."), and while I was drowning in the boundless sea of work tasks and chores I could briefly see the posts of my old and new fellows Hivians about Krakow meetup are passing by the window of my life... I barely had time to ckeck out all them so first my apologizes to those to whom I could not devote enough time.

On Tuesday evening I read in the @phortun's post - "I was very busy on Monday but still thinking about the HiveBeeCon. Today, I could finally ...", and I was like "WHAT?? ? You mean it's not a Monday already?"

Truth to be said, I also have been thinking about you guys all these days. And maybe this is another reason why I failed in one of the three projects I worked on. 😜 Or it was another argument to confirm the rightness of my school chemistry teacher who used to say that "rush is needed only in catching fleas". But I still did at least one good deed - today I sent a large parcel of clothes for a military hospital in the Kharkiv region. Yes, my trip to Krakow was possible because of those courageous guys.🙏

You know, I have no clue whose idea it initially was to hold HiveFest in autumn, but it's a perfect time for it. It's like one extra sunny and warm day before it snows for a long time.

Speaking about HiveBeeCon, I must say that it still had one significant drawback and you must agree with me - there was not enough time! I wish I could talk to everyone, play all games and participate in all activities. 🙂 But what I know it is never late for good words, so ... here is what I missed saying and still want to say.

I believe that Autumn was invented for warm words and hugs. But dear @delishtreats, I have no doubts that if there was a fair hugging contest, @gtg would win it.😁 And thanks a million to you and Stefan for the big and small talks and all the great time I had with you [another hug].

@livinguktaiwan. Your cookies saved me and Nick from starving to death. And thanks to you for he was able to defeat the virus, which, as he claims, I left for him especially when I left - thanks to your medicine! 😉 So, right now I am having my first tea since I returned and gonna eat the last cookie!

@gtg, you are the best host of all times. I would like to do the same for you someday (and preferably more). But I discovered that you are not the only magician I know because @hallman apparently invented or found a time loop. Without a doubt, his kingdom @krolestwo is a magical place when time stops... The more you stay the more you don't want to leave. Only when you somehow get out of there you realize how much you miss it.

@m31 I feel like want to thank you again for the tiny Hive badge you brought to everyone from Rosarito. 🤗 And I thank you so much for our talk...❤️

@priyanarc I was so happy to know you are coming. I know it might be a big step for you and you're well done. Take care of yourself.

@phortun I was wrong in our scientific argument. Belarusian is the closest language to Ukrainian followed by Polish and Slovak. Ukrainian and Czech languages have 56% of common vocabulary and at least 70% of grammar. Also, I have to say that in real life you are not what I thought but much cooler!👍💪

By the way, I had such an interesting feeling in @krolestwo - you can pay Hive/Hbd for anything. If I look at it not from the point of view of technology (which is awesome), but in terms of the budget... Since I do not consider my Hive/HBD as profit, therefore payment in Hive/HBD is not an expense! 😇😊 Isn't it cool?!

You know, comparing HiveFest and HiveBeeCon, the latter has a completely informal and homey atmosphere. If you come with your non-Hive partner, there is no single moment when he or she could feel the difference because everyone is a member of a big family.

To be honest, this second Hive meetup in my life is now a precious memory that I will remember with a smile and warmth in my heart.💖 Until next time. Because someone said that HiveBeeCon Will Return!

This is all I guess.

Let me finish my post with a song that captures my mood today. One of the best versions (as for me) of the "Autumn Leaves"

I'm glad you reached safely. It was nice having you there and spending, even if a few, moments around lovely people. I know it wasn't easy for you, but you kept smiling and cherishing every moment. Thanks for coming and making the fest even better, and thank you for not forgetting kharkov and sending a package!

Let's be honest, it is not easy for you as well. And I am very glad that we can take care of our people, each in its place. Thank you! 💙💛

This meetup indeed had a completely homey atmosphere and the people who made it come will remember it for a long long time, if not forever! The first HiveBeeCon should have also a second name, like a subtitle - The Hugging Contest Without Limits 🤗

avatar

Damn, I would have loved this, I didn't look into it enough, I thought it was gonna be boring lectures and stuff like that
DAMN DAMN DAMN, roll on the next one.

avatar

Next time, hopefully. I would be glad to meet you in real life 🙂

You took some really interesting photos of the KBK! I didn't recognize some of them at all... The Kingdom is huge! 😃

It was nice to meet you and see you soon at the next Hive Meetup! 😘

I suspect that the inside is much larger than the outside.☝️ 😉

I very much hope that I can make it next year. It's such a great feeling! ❤️

I hope it will be at @krolestwo ;)

The King of KBK can travel too! 😃

There is no King of KBK :) I am only the governor ;)

Meet ups really connects, and the atmosphere it creates is heavenly.

I hope you found some new connects

I been reading all the HiveBeeCon posts since Saturday, and it's like I'm still at the event, jumping into everybody's thoughts and still wandering around the Kingdom from room to room, scene to scene.

It's was so nice to see you again Galyna, and you look a bit more relaxed compared to last year. Although we can't do enough physically, just remember we have your back, if you ever need a virtual hug

I feel like we were never strangers even though we are from different cities in Ukraine. When we saw each other on Hivefest for the first time, we couldn't be more happy to see each other. I feel so happy to see you whenever I see you and we have unlimited topics to talk about without boundaries. :D I really hope one day (hopefully soon) we both will have our time in Kyiv and Kharkiv and will make everybody jealous :D...

When the language discussion was happening, I was there looking at each one of you pretending like I understood the conversation :D

I am glad that you are safe and healthy because I was waiting for your post (not gonna lie and you are really special to me). Huggss and love dear...

avatar

It was a pleasure to meet you. And Ukraine is "next door", so I hope there will be more visits to the Kingdom. Next time you can plan some kind of meeting for Ukrainians living in Krakow to tell them more about Hive.

avatar

I would like to come again so much, especially while my memories are vivid ) Maybe with my daughter. And to meet with other Ukrainians is a very good idea indeed. We will see.

avatar

So, we have a plan.

avatar

At least I like what starts with that phrase 😅

HiveBeeCon is a more of a reunion. It's a big family reunion.

avatar

I think that you two huggers are at the same level 😘

I found your cigarettes! Might get them framed as a memento 😂

Brilliant idea! This would be the rare case where cigarettes are something good 😀

Aww, this is one of the sweetest HiveBeeCon reports I have read :) Lovely words from a lovely person.

As for that language debate, I always say that when it comes to communication between strangers, where there is a will, there is a way and with us, Slavic nations, it´s true even more :)

"Also, I have to say that in real life you are not what I thought but much cooler!"

Ok, I better not ask you what you originally thought of me hahaha :D

Can't remember now 😇 And... who cares? LOL

We never really crossed paths at HIVE, but I knew of your existence for quite some time. So great to see your positivity, taking all the effort to come and join whilst at home there is too much to do. Our conversation was brief, but I really liked it.

Indeed rushing is something we should not do, but honestly, I usually work against deadlines since that puts me in thinking efficiently and executing the tasks at hand effectively. I suppose I need the pressure of a deadline to get my few grey cells as well as my body active 🙃

avatar

I liked our conversation as well and I hope to meet you again. 😉

I used to have deadlines, but I am a kind of person... I enjoy my job actually, and often my tasks are done before a deadline but sometimes I just can't force myself to do anything, and when it happens I don't care about deadlines. 😆 Things became like this since the big war starts and I am looking forward to living in peace again and have my normal state of mind back.

Thank you so much for checking my post and for your meaningful comment 🤗❤
