As a lover of comics I am a DC fan and that's one one of my best DC movies or series is the flash which premiered on The CW on October 2014 It was primarily based on the DC comic character Barry Allen , Starting from today I’m going to start a weekly analysis or summary of the flash season starting from the season 1 serially so let’s get into it
The flash series was based on the DC comic book character Barry Allen, Who gets superhuman speed after being struck by lightning in his office involving a particle accelerator explosion at the famous “S.T A.R. LABS“ The first season off the flash series introduce the audience to Berlin a forensic scientist working at the central city Police Department Who becomes the fastest man alive but that doesn’t end there it turns out he wasn’t the only one affected

This season begins with Barry Allen waking up from a nine months coma, after he was struck by lightning at his lab from the particle accelerator explosion at star labs Soon enough he finds out about his new powers he could now move at speeds beyond human comprehension after the incident at his lab, he was taken to star labs, where he met Francisco Ramon(Cisco), Caitlin Snow (Caitlin), Dr Harrison Wells( Dr Wells), who help him test and improve on his newfound powers , though initially his foster dad and Dr Wells were against him being a superhero, but he was able to finally convince them into it, there they all became friends, and he took Dr Wells as his mentor. Barry to control his powers thus becoming the superhero known as the flash,

However it doesn’t take long for Barry and the crew to find out to that Barry wasn’t the only one affected by the particle accelerator explosion, a ton of bad guys had been gifted different abilities, thanks to the dark matter the explosion released , through out the season Barry faces quite a number of evil intentioned villains, starting from his archenemy, the reverse flash(Eorbard thawne)a speedster from the future,who was later found out to be the one impersonating as a crippled Harrison Wells in a wheelchair , to a wide array of a other villains notably captain cold and Tony Woodward,

Interesting enough according to the comics he lost his mom when he was little and his dad got imprisoned for her death, As things unfold in season 1 we see that actually the reverse flash travelled through time to the past in an attempt to eliminate Barry and stopping him from becoming the flash later ,he fails in that attempt and ends up killing Barry’s mom ,and getting his dad in prison in the process, However, thawne’s access to the speed force which grants speedsters their speeds gets severed, thus disabling him from catapulting himself back to the future, and he gets stuck in tbat timeline, he resorts to killing the Original doctor wells to speed up the establishment of star labs, and with the help of a futuristic device he was able to gain wells’ physical characteristics. image source Barry must learn to confront his past to be able to defeat the reverse flash and save central city

In addition, to fighting villains, Barry also has to deal with his normal life through the season, as we see him appear as both the flash and a forensic scientist of the Central City Police Department (ccpd) , he is in love with his childhood friend and foster sister Iris West who at that time was dating Eddie thawne a Police officer too working at ccpd also.

He is burdened with the ultimate responsibility of dealing with his feelings for Iris his job as a forensic scientist, and his job as the ‘’fastest man alive’’ . Later in the season Barry finds out his dad was wrongfully imprisoned,and was innocent, leading him to seek for justice for his father and family.
