! [Spoiler Alert] esta reseña contiene spoilers sobre la película además de un análisis sobre la misma y su forma artística de presentar un todo.
Hola a toda la comunidad cinéfila, el día de hoy quiero hablar sobre una película bastante interesante desde el punto de vista del hambre, no solo por el nombre de esta película ya que no trata explícitamente sobre esto, sino de ir más allá de lo que conocemos en referencia a la alta cocina y como esta es presentada para diferenciar las diferentes clases sociales que existen actualmente en la humanidad.
La película para hacer de un país tan lejano como Tailandia nos da entender que la humanidad desde cierta perspectiva está dañada, me recordó mucho a los juegos del hambre ya que trata también sobre la diferencia de clases sociales.
Hello to all the film community, today I want to talk about a very interesting movie from the point of view of hunger, not only for the name of this film as it is not explicitly about this, but to go beyond what we know in reference to haute cuisine and how it is presented to differentiate the different social classes that currently exist in humanity.
The film to make of a country as far away as Thailand gives us to understand that humanity from a certain perspective is damaged, it reminded me a lot of the hunger games as it also deals with the difference of social classes.

No recuerdo el nombre de la protagonista (Aoy), pero sí recuerdo mucho lo que hace, es una experta con el wok (una especie de sartén) dónde prepara fideos en el negocio familiar, un día como cualquiera sirve la comida que vende a uno de los sub chef del aclamado chef Paul.
Hunger es el nombre de su servicio de catering o una especie de contratación de servicio de chef, al ver lo aclamado que es este chef da una especie de intriga saber por qué su comida es tan solicitada, además de ser tan exuberante y costosa, una forma de ver cómo el arte culinario puede ir más allá de solamente saciar el hambre.
I don't remember the name of the main character (Aoy), but I do remember a lot of what she does, she is an expert with the wok (a kind of frying pan) where she prepares noodles in the family business, one day like any other she serves the food she sells to one of the sous chef of the acclaimed chef Paul.
Hunger is the name of her catering service or a kind of chef service contracting, seeing how acclaimed this chef is gives a kind of intrigue to know why his food is so sought after, besides being so lush and expensive, a way to see how the culinary art can go beyond just satiating hunger.

Esta película muestra muchas historias detrás de todo lo que tiene que ver con este tipo de mundo, donde no solo se puede vender comida, si no en cuánto está dispuesta la gente pagar por algo y mantener un estatus ante todos, ser capaces de dar muchísimo dinero por sentirse saciados de poder. Una forma de ver el mundo donde a veces creemos que no existe este tipo de cosas; sin embargo, sí, ya que existen personas que le gusta lo excéntrico y digamos desde cierta manera decir que son valiosos por tener mucho dinero o al menos creer que lo son mientras alardean hacia otros.
This film shows many stories behind everything that has to do with this kind of world, where you can not only sell food, but how much people are willing to pay for something and maintain a status before everyone, being able to give a lot of money to feel satiated with power. A way of seeing the world where sometimes we believe that this kind of things do not exist; however, yes, because there are people who like eccentric and let's say from a certain way to say that they are valuable for having a lot of money or at least believe they are while bragging to others.
Esta película guarda muchos mensajes, ya que buscar la superación de una persona al tratar de ser lo más especial posible, se enfoca como sea lograr satisfacer sus ansias de ser un chef digamos profesional, tratar de cocinar los mejores platillos y arriesgar incluso su vida para poder lograr este objetivo.
Es indiscutible ver la cantidad de referencias que hay desde el punto de vista dado por el mismo chef Paul, donde decidió digamos de cierta manera burlarse de los ricos mientras da de comer algo que prácticamente no costaba ni un dólar, jugar con el paladar de personas que simplemente compran un estatus y no una experiencia culinaria. Esto va muy ligado a las grandes marcas de ropa donde simplemente se compra un nombre y no un producto en sí ya que puede existir ropa con mejor o la misma calidad a un precio totalmente económico.
Esta película realmente se convirtió en una muy recomendada para mí, si pudiera otorgarle alguna puntuación le daría un 9 de 10, pues retrata muchas experiencias en referencia a este tipo de excentricidades mostrando así una realidad que vive la humanidad, donde los más ricos no desean solo hacer más dinero, sino gastarlo de la forma más absurda y estúpida de imposible.
This film has many messages, as it seeks to overcome a person trying to be as special as possible, it focuses on how to satisfy his desire to be a professional chef, trying to cook the best dishes and even risking his life to achieve this goal.
It is indisputable to see the amount of references that there are from the point of view given by the same chef Paul, where he decided to mock the rich while giving to eat something that practically did not cost a dollar, playing with the palate of people who simply buy a status and not a culinary experience. This is very much linked to the big clothing brands where you simply buy a name and not a product itself since there can be clothes with better or the same quality at a totally economic price.
This movie really became a highly recommended for me, if I could give it a score I would give it a 9 out of 10, because it portrays many experiences in reference to this type of eccentricities showing a reality that humanity lives, where the richest not only want to make more money, but spend it in the most absurd and stupid way impossible.

Saludos por aquí 🤗 hace poco ví una escena de esa película y me dejó intrigada: justo cuando ella está aprendiendo a cortar finamente los filetes y el chef le dice que lo está haciendo mal, que debe demostrar que es más que una cocinera de fideos. Todo eso pero de forma bastante ruda.
Con la reseña me hace recordar a 'The Menu' porque el chef es bastante engreído, la comida y el restaurante en sí son un guiño a cómo funcionan las clases sociales.
