Waiting for the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, let's remember the Trilogy (Eng-Esp)

I have always liked the Planet of the Apes films and I have seen them in their premieres, each one showing off the best makeup and technology resources of its time, and of course the support of a great story.

Given the premiere of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, I wanted to see the Trilogy corresponding to the reboot again, and as always when watching a movie or series for the second time, we see details that we had gone unnoticed before, and when we liked them a lot we enjoyed it even more. This Planet of the Apes Trilogy were the following:

Rise of the Planet of the Apes of the year 2011
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes of the year 2014
War for the Planet of the Apes of the year2017

Las películas del Planeta de los Simios, siempre me han gustado y las he visto en sus estrenos, cada una haciendo gala de los mejores recursos de maquillaje y de tecnología de su momento, y por supuesto el respaldo de una gran historia.
Dado el estreno de El Reino del Planeta de los Simios, quise volver a ver la Trilogía correspondientes al reboot, y como siempre al ver una película o serie por segunda vez, vemos detalles que habíamos pasado desapercibidos antes, y cuando nos gustaron mucho la disfrutamos aún más. Esta Trilogía de El Planeta de los Simios fueron las siguientes:

La Guerra del Planeta de los Simios, del año 2017

For this publication I want to mention only some aspects of each film in this Planet of the Apes Trilogy, and although it is not imperative to have seen them before to enjoy this year's premiere of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, I highly recommend that you watch them. You see, first because it really is a great story that has been beautifully divided, each one of them can be enjoyed, each one is a perfect narrative, with incredible performances and deployment of resources, color palettes, makeup, etc.

In this Trilogy we will have the hero's journey as the filmmakers say (someone ends up talking like that too) of our main character Cesar, whom I will truly always miss.

[Spanish Version] Para esta publicación quiero mencionar solo algunos aspectos de cada película de esta Trilogía del Planeta de los Simios, y aunque no es imperativo haberlas visto antes para disfrutar del estreno de El Reino del Planeta de los Simios de este año, si te recomiendo altamente que las veas, primero porque realmente es una gran historia que ha sido dividida hermosamente, cada una de ellas de puede disfrutar, cada una es una perfecta narración, con actuaciones increíbles y despliegue de recursos, paletas de colores, maquillaje, etc.
En esta Trilogía tendremos el viaje del héroe como dicen los cineastas (ya uno termina hablando así también) de nuestro personaje principal Cesar, a quien de verdad que extrañaré siempre.

The story begins with Will Rodman (James Franco), a scientist who works for GEN-SYS Laboratories, a company that experiments with monkeys, his almost personal goal is to find a cure for Alzheimer's since his father suffers from it. He develops a retrovirus called ALZ-112, which makes monkeys more intelligent, and tests it on a monkey named Bright Eyes, who at one point becomes aggressive, disrupting a meeting with investors. They send her and all the monkeys she was experimenting with to kill her. The reason for her aggressiveness was that she had just given birth to her child and they did not want to be separated from him. Will manages to save his son and raises him in his house, names him CESAR and realizes that he inherited his mother's intelligence. Will administers ALZ-112 to his father and miraculously improves his Alzheimer's.

At the age of 5, Will's father relapses with the disease and Will develops the more powerful ALZ-113 virus. After some unfortunate events Cesar is separated from Will and taken to a monkey reserve where he is mistreated like all the monkeys there, and Cesar dreams of setting them all free, he manages to unite them, searches for ALZ-113 and administers it to make them all smart.

The problem is that ALZ-113 makes monkeys intelligent, but makes humans sick, and after a series of situations the virus spreads throughout the world, rapidly causing hemorrhages and death in humans. Caesar's principle was to make the apes free and not harm humans, although this is something that is not possible in this first film, nor in the following ones.

La historia comienza con Will Rodman (James Franco) un científico que trabaja para Laboratorios GEN-SYS una empresa que experimenta con monos, su objetivo casi personal es conseguir la cura del Alzhéimer ya que su padre la padece. Desarrolla un retrovirus llamado ALZ-112,que hace a monos mas inteligentes, lo prueba en una mona llamada Ojos Brillantes, quien a se muestra agresiva en un momento perjudicando una reunión con inversionistas. La mandan a matar a ella y a todos los monos con lo que experimentaba. La razón de su agresividad fue que acababa de dar a luz a su hijo y no querían que la separaran de él. Will logra salvar a su hijo y lo cría en su casa, lo llama CESAR y se da cuenta que heredó la inteligencia de su madre. Will administra el ALZ-112 a su padre y mejora milagrosamente su Alzahéimer.
A los 5 años el padre de Will, recae con la enfermedad y Will desarrolla el virus ALZ-113, mas potente. Tras unos eventos desafortunados Cesar es separado de Will y llevado a una reserva de monos donde es maltratado al igual que todos los monos de ahí, y Cesar sueña con lograr hacerlos libres a todos, logra unirlos, busca el ALZ-113 y lo administra para hacerlos a todos inteligentes.
El problema es que el ALZ-113 vuelve inteligente a los monos, pero enferma a los humanos, y tras una serie de situaciones el virus se esparce en el mundo ocasionando hemorragias y muerte rápidamente en los humanos. Cesar tenía como principio hacer a los simios libres y no lastimar a los humanos, aunque esto es algo que no es posible ni en esta primera película, ni en las siguientes.

In this third Planet of the Apes film, Cesar continues to be our protagonist Ape and, as always, the actor and film director Andy Serkis with the responsibility of bringing him to life. It takes place two years after the previous film and as the title tells us, it is clearly a war between the few humans organized by the Colonel, played by none other than Woody Harrelson, a ruthless military man who kills his wife. from Caesar, Cornelia, and his eldest son Blue Eyes, from this attack his youngest son, Cornelius, manages to save himself, who manages to hide, with this event Caesar feels deep hatred for the first time and wants to avenge the death of his family, he loves the Colonel.

As for humanity, we already know that it is very scarce. The monkey virus, as they call it, has mutated and to make matters worse, it causes humans to begin to lose qualities such as speech and will increase in fatality. We meet Nova, a girl with the virus who joins them when she is left alone and she no longer speaks.

Cesar, looking for the Colonel, arrives with a small clan at a military base where they have enslaved apes and are building a wall. Caesar is captured by the military and the next thing is to save the apes and destroy that military base. The objective of the wall and the Colonel's story are quite interesting and tells us about how humanity is experiencing this pandemic and fighting for the race to survive.

[Spanish Version] En esta tercera película del Planeta de los Simios, Cesar sigue siendo nuestro protagonista Simio y como siempre el actor y director de cine Andy Serkis con la responsabilidad de darle vida. Transcurre dos años después de la película anterior y como el título nos adelanta, ya es claramente una guerra entre los pocos humanos organizados por el Coronel, interpretado por nada más y nada menos que Woody Harrelson, un militar despiadado que acaba con la vida la esposa de César, Cornelia, y a su hijo mayor Ojos Azules, de este ataque logra salvarse hijo menor, Cornelius, quien logra esconderse, con este evento Cesar siente por primera vez un profundo odio y quiere vengar la muerte de su familia, quiere al Coronel.
En cuando a la humanidad, ya sabemos que es muy escasa. El virus de los monos como lo llaman, ha mutado y para colmo hace que los humanos comiencen a perder cualidades como el habla e irá aumentando en su fatalidad. Conocemos a Nova una niña con el virus que se une a ellos al quedarse sola y que ya no habla.
Cesar buscando al Coronel, llega con un reducido clan a una base militar donde tienen a simios esclavizados y construyendo un muro. Cesar cae preso por los militares y lo siguiente es lograr salvar a los simios y acabar con esa base militar. El objetivo del muro y la historia del Coronel son bastante interesantes y nos habla sobre como la humanidad está viviendo esta pandemia y lucha para que la raza sobreviva.

The Planet of the Apes Trilogy is simply fascinating, each film had the best technology available, they have aged very well, they look very current and the effects look very good. Andy Serkis' performance as Cesar has been masterful, his movements, his face, the personality he managed to imprint on him. Each human character in each of the 3 films has been spectacular, with Will and Malcolm representing in many ways the best intentions of humanity, and with the Colonel not only his evil but also the consequences of this virus and the urgent need for the humans to regain supremacy.

La Trilogía del Planeta de los Simios es sencillamente apasionante, cada película contó con la mejor tecnología disponible, han envejecido muy bien, se ven muy actuales y los efectos lucen muy bien. La actuación de Andy Serkis como Cesar ha sido magistral, sus movimientos, su rostro, la personalidad que logró imprimirle. Cada personaje humano de cada una de las 3 películas ha sido espectacular, con Will y Malcolm representando de muchas formas las mejores intenciones de la humanidad, y con el Coronel no solo su maldad sino también las consecuencias de este virus y la necesidad imperiosa de los humanos por recuperar la supremacía.

In my opinion, none of them have been better than the other, they all tell an impressive story that is worth knowing to also learn from it. Now, more excited than ever, I'm going to see the premiere of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

Let us remember that Caesar's legacy and his philosophy was that humans and apes could live in peace.
