#Monomad Challenge - Avenida 24 Julho, Lisboa

Good evening, #Monomad friends

Lisbon is a bustling city, not to be confused with Madrid, which is certainly much busier... But on the scale of the country, it certainly has a marked movement, differentiation and culturality.

When I was at secondary school, I always heard my English teacher say that London was a real melting pot. I heard her say it so often that, although I didn't really understand the concept, two years later, in my tenth year, when I visited London I understood it immediately!

More than 27 years later, the city of Lisbon has, in a way, acquired that kind of liveliness and multiculturalism that in 1995 we only saw in the most developed European cities.

Today I want to share with you a small set of photographs in which I tried to capture all the diversity of faces and people on one of my trips to Lisbon. These photos were taken in the Cais do Sodré area, on Avenida 24 de Julho, at the entrance to the Ribeira Market.
What about you, do you also like to take this kind of photo?

The light that reaches this wide avenue by the river is phenomenal

A slightly colder passer-by ended up providing the necessary contrast and drama

Unfortunately, Tuk Tuks and electric scooters are a trend that has taken over the city of Lisbon... Well, we have to accept it as long as it's beneficial to some. As far as I'm concerned, it ends up being very uncharacteristic of the city, but it's a necessary "cost"

@xrayman The images you show us today are interesting. Do you usually adjust to these proportions in the photography you take? Greetings

Good evening, @crisvictorero ! Thank you for your comment!
I photograph with my Samsung S40... Not a special lens or even equipment... But i try always to follow the rules of photography, rule of the thirds, and composition. Some fine details like hue, contrast, light I adjust in a free online available app named PhotoScape X. I don't know if I answered your question. Fell free to reply, if I haven't, my friend!

I think the most important thing is to take photography (regardless of the equipment you use). Thank you for responding and sorry for my delay. Keep doing it, I hope to continue seeing your images.
