Hello everyone! I feel like this is my first time publishing a blog here again after months of not posting here in this community. But this time, I came back after watching a lot of Korean dramas.

For the past few months, watching Korean drama has also been one of the things that I have done to cure my depression. Because, you know, watching movies, dramas, or even any other videos on different social media helped us deflect our attention from thinking negative thoughts and entertain us when we felt unwell, am I right?

Actually, since I became active in writing and earning, I became busy, so I just had a little time to watch the new releases of dramas and movies. I also changed my perspective on Korean Dramas. Just for example, when I watched some romance drama, instead of feeling thrilled by the sweet scenes, My reactions were different. I cringed watching it; I even laughed, and I couldn't continue watching it anymore. I don't know if it's also the same right now, though. Hmm.. Let's see if I can explain everything about my reactions to what I've watched in recent months.

But before we start, let me warn you that before you continue reading this blog, I hope that you accept spoilers.

So guys, I have watched Six Korean dramas in the past few months, and I will also include the ongoing drama.

So the first one that I will discuss is this Korean drama named "Celebrity". Did you know that this is the first Korean Drama series that I watched for just two days? You read it right. I spent my two days watching their 12 total episodes.

It's been a long time since I've watched a romance drama again. And the drama that will make you thrilled because of the young, cool, rich, and badboy type of male lead and watching this Korean drama made me remember when I was still in high school. Of course I was a fan, and I became one of the younger girls out there who were hoping for a Cinderella life. And this Korean drama made me feel that again after a very long time.

But why did I give this Korean drama a rating of 8.9 instead of 10?

First, this Korean drama series is good. It's all about the influencer's life in reality. How those influencers on social media work behind the camera. And we all know that not all of the influencers on social media are true, or, should I say, they aren't honest about what they show in front of the many people who are watching them. They maintained their appearance, looks, and behavior for the sake of their popularity.

And this series will serve as a lesson for everyone, with the main goal of letting everyone know that influencers lives are not that great.

Second, I like the character's visuals, and it's my first time watching Kang Min Hyuk. He is so handsome and very hot in this Korean drama, and he reminds me of someone I knew every time I watch each episode's scenes where he was there.
I also love the character of the girl here a little bit. I love how strong she was. Though she was poor (which is where those influencers started before they tasted fame), she still managed to climb up and fight the issues where they started.

What disappoints me in this series is the lack of explanations. I was lacking and disappointed in something while watching the other episodes, which made me not satisfied in the flow of the story. I didn't focus only on the visuals of the characters; I also focused on the story of the series that I am watching. Another thing is that I hate that the director and/or writer made the female lead's character dramatic. She really got my annoyance, and I feel like sometimes those days that I watched it made me stop watching it because of her, but still I continued watching. And I think when one character in the series that we are watching makes your emotions change, it means that they are doing their job right. Right?

If you are looking for a Korean drama that will give you some peace of mind about love, I think this is the right series for you. This Korean drama is all about a relationship, and I like it because I learned something about dating, different kinds of relationships, how to love myself more, and being strong independent woman.

Watching this made me remember my past relationships, when I was broken every time my ex cheated on me, and I was glad because I didn't do what the girl in this drama did.

Another reason why I like this Korean drama is that the genre is Rom-Com. It made this drama balance the emotions of the viewers. From feeling the pain and the comedy of the characters to still make the story more fun and interesting.

But why did I only give this kdrama a rating of 7?

Yes, I learned something after watching this drama. However, sometimes I got bored in the other episodes because I had already seen and watched some of the same situations in other Korean dramas that I had watched in the past, and that's the reason why It took me a long time to finish this Korean drama compared to Celebrity, which I finished in two days.

This Korean drama is the same as the Celebrity Kdrama. It was a rich man and a poor girl, and it was a fairytale love story that couldn't actually happen in real life. But yeah, some of the girls who are working at hotels and companies can experience that IF they are beautiful and intelligent. Am I right?

Anyway, let us talk about the things that I like about this kdrama.

The first thing that I liked about it was the art at the beginning, since you know that I like to learn about art and how to draw. The first thing that came to mind after I watched the animation at the beginning of episode 1 was that I think the art and animation were made using Procreate. Haha

I mean, it's because some of the things that had been drawn in the animation were drawn, like when I watched some artists using the Procreate app. It looks like that. The brushes work. And it amazed me because of the characters in the animation, especially how the main leads in the cartoon art look.

Another thing that I like about this K-drama is its true-to-life and relatable lessons. Like how it actually looks when you work, being an adult, and marriage.

What I also like about this kdrama is that the story about the female lead's friend makes me angry. I am not a hater of men because I believe that there are still good men out there, but this kdrama triggered my belief in not getting married. My gosh!

But why did I only give this kdrama a rating of 7.5?

Because the female lead role is making her feel so important. I mean, the writer or the director didn't even consider the feelings of the other character. What I mean is, I get it. I get that she is the female lead, but why did the writer make her so special? Which is why I more understand the feelings of her co-workers than the female lead. And then, I almost forgot that this kdrama is a rich and poor love story, so I realized that this has a Cinderella vibe. Lol

That's also the reason why I didn't visit this kdrama always and just watched it when I had nothing to watch. Anyway, This is still an ongoing kdrama and is not finished yet.

I watched this k-drama because of the influence of TikTok. I watched the trailer there, and I also watched the reviews of some of the viewers, and It made me curious to watch it. Also, I saw Yeri of Red Velvet, and she is one of the characters in this Korean drama, and I like to see and watch her as an actress.

So like the "King the Land" kdrama, I was surprised by the art and animation at the beginning of this drama. I really like how it draws well and feel amazed.

The animation also looks cool because of the sound that they included, and I think this helped the viewers feel the vibe of the story of the characters having a luxury life. I forgot, and it's hard to explain, but you know what the feeling of an expensive aura is, right?

A lot of people are mad at Yeri's character here. But for me, I understand her role in this drama. I am not new to this kind of drama anymore because I have watched a lot of kdramas since I was in senior high school, and back then, I was also the one who made my female classmates addicted to watching korean dramas, which I was also influenced by my older Sister.

So her role here is not making me mad like how the other viewers said in their content about this drama. We know that all the villains have their own backstories for why they are acting that way.

Now, Why did I give this kdrama a rating of 10 out of 10?

I really like the story of this kdrama! For me, this is the best Korean high school drama that made me feel amazed because I liked the vibe of the characters. The story made me curious, and I became a detective while watching this, and after watching the first episode, I couldn't stop but to watch the next episode because every ending of each episode made me feel left hanging, and to be honest, I would like this to have a second season because I am not satisfied with the ending. I want more episodes of this kdrama!

And let's add the reason that I like a Korean drama that has slapping faces

and brutal fights between female characters.

After watching the First Love Japanese drama, I promised myself not to watch a Korean or Japanese drama that would make me cry and hurt. Because the last time that I watched the First Love jdrama, I didn't eat for almost a day, and I lost my energy for doing anything, and it's hard for me to move on.

Then, I saw a post on Facebook, and people said that this drama was good to watch, and they even couldn't wait for the next episodes. So I said to myself, "Oh, okay, I will give it a try!"

But when I started to watch it at the beginning of this drama, I couldn't help but cry. I was like,

to those people who recommend this drama. Because I thought that this drama was a rom-com drama too.

But I still continued to watch it until episode 3. But I stopped watching it because I couldn't stop crying because of the story. Imagine that when I was in the situation of the female lead, I couldn't stand seeing my past, and after I watched the three episodes, I was thankful because I couldn't remember what happened in my past lives.

Why did I give this kdrama a rating of 9 out of 10?

To be honest, I am not sure if I will give this drama a rating or not yet because I didn't continue watching the next episodes because it hurt to watch them. But since this drama made me cry the most because of the story and the Actor and actresses are good at acting, I still give it a 9. But right now, this drama is already finished, and I didn't continue watching it again because I was preparing myself for the emotional scenes. I know that it will give me trauma after watching it again, like the other historical dramas that I have watched, and I couldn't move on until now...

Actually, I already saw this before watching the dramas that I reviewed above. Of course! It is one of the dramas that I saved first and neglected to watch until it had already had four episodes because Kim Taeri is my favorite actress, and I really don't like watching her dramas that leave me hanging when the first two episodes are done.

When I saw the poster of this drama, My first impression was that it was a fight, gangster, and brutal killing genre of drama. But when I watched the beginning, which is the animation, I was surprised because I have a feeling that this drama is a horror.

But it's not a problem for me since I like watching horror dramas too. But sometimes, I also feel a little scared if the horror series that I am watching is based on a true story. What I don't like is horror that will shock me because I have a weak heart when it comes to those kinds of scenes.

Why I give this drama a rating of 100/10?

First, I was impressed by how the animated opening looks.

And speaking of animated opening and art in the beginning of the episodes, I really admire whoever the artist of the animation is for this drama. Because it's just a simple drawing, yet it was good art because they drew it well, and from what I observed, I think the brush that was used to draw is a charcoal.

I really admire those artists who can draw easily without the help of a pencil and lines. Like it was just basic for them to draw things without even caring if it turned out to be just a drawing of a kid.

Second, I was impressed with the flow of the story.

Every episode made me curious about what happened next, and this drama's previous episodes are always aired every Friday and Saturday, so it's hard for me to wait for the next episodes after watching the two latest episodes.

I also became interested and invested in knowing "who, what, when, and why" while watching the kdrama; in short, I also wanted to guess who the culprit was.

Third, I was impressed and fell in love with how Kim Taeri played her role in this drama.

What I really admire about this actress is that she really brings her talent to her role in any drama she chooses. The act, the expression of her face, the voice, and anything else. That's why I really like watching her in any drama or movie where she is one of the cast.

I remember her drama called "Twenty-Five, Twenty-One", in which she is also the female lead and her male lead is Nam Joo Hyuk. I really like her facial expression in this drama, and I always see in her eyes the pain and sadness.

Meanwhile, in this drama, I saw something different in her eyes, which is scary because of her different role.

Every time that I watch each episode of this drama, my breath stops. Because of how tense this drama was. I know that it's a horror, but I also focused on the story of what actually happened, so I can also answer the question, "Why?".

But I am disappointed in this Korean drama because I am not satisfied with the ending, AND I also didn't expect that the ending would look like that. But I see that the writer of this drama series is not into romance, so I will never hope for my ship's ending. lol

CONLUSION:

These are the six Korean dramas that I have watched in the past few months. I really did enjoy watching them, though some of the scenes and characters disappointed me. I really didn't expect that Korean dramas were improving now. I mean, sometimes I don't like watching Korean dramas since they have the same plot or stories. They keep repeating the story and just changing some of the scenes, but now I am thankful to the Revenant director because Finally! It's been a long time since I've watched a good Korean drama series.

Anyway, We have all our thoughts and opinions about what we are watching, and I hope that you understand my own opinions and thoughts about these k-dramas that I have watched.

THANKS FOR READING!

You really love arts, I think you will also like Manhwa/Manhua, especially those in full colored. Have you tried it naba?

Anyways I saw these series sa fb and lahat sila nagustuhan ko base lang dun sa short video na napanood ko, yong Celebrity na astigan ako dyan, but I'm not sure if I will start to watch ba. Yong Bora Deborah actually downloaded na yong first two episode nyan sa cp ko, kaso may scene talaga na boring sya kaya diko matapos tapos yont episode 2. Mas nagagandagan pa ko sa Doctor Cha, bat di yon kasama? Maganda din yon, kaso diko pa tapos, naaagaw ng manhwa ang oras ko huhu.

Yong see you something, ayaw ko panoorin yan mapanakit huhu, yong King The Land, nagbabalak ako pero not sure if itutuloy ko. Mas inaabangan ko The Uncanny Counter 2 ngayon, uwu
