Sharing my thoughts about the participants of Single's Inferno 3.
I am a fan of watching some Korean dating shows. I don't know why, but I enjoyed watching it as I can relate to some'situations' sometimes. I also watch this dating show MAYBE because I wanted to learn some things about dating because, when I started to have a boyfriend, I never learned how to date, as I was still young during that time. This Korean dating show that I'm addicted to is called Single's Inferno. I became addicted to this Korean dating show after watching the first season.
This Korean dating show was so interesting to me at first because I was curious why they called it "Single's Inferno." Then I realized that it was because the single participants who joined this show will experience an inferno life: not just how they live for several days in a beach or forest, but they will also experience heartbreak, which is one of the most cruel things to experience in our lives as human beings.
In Season 1, my favorite participant is Song Jia.
I really like her vibe. I can sense that she is a badass, and she doesn't need a man. Which is what really happened because the man she chose was a jerk at the end, and all of the participants who turned their backs when she had an issue with her fashion on that show didn't even become successful enough to achieve the fame that they wanted. Now, she is living her good life, and she still continues to endorse a lot of famous brands, and a lot of people follow her social media accounts. She faced the issue on her own, being brave enough to face a lot of bad comments toward her, which is why I admire her more now.
In Season 2, My favorite participant is Lee Nadine.
I still remember my first impression of her when they introduced her was, "Oh, I think this girl is genius." Because on her introduction, she said that she can speak English and the photos that she shared were taken abroad, so I guessed that she was an intelligent and talented person, and I was right! When she said her job, which is that she's still a student and studying at Harvard University, I couldn't help but admire her. Plus, she has a sense of humor! I thought that some genius people didn't have time to spend on nonsense things. But I really admire those who can spend both (studying and hanging out with other people).
Now, that season 3 has aired, I wonder who is my new favorite participant in this season. I won't review the scenes, and I will just share my impressions and thoughts about them after watching them until the end of the episode.
Let's start with the first participant who arrived on the Inferno.
Her name is Kim Gyuri and The first question that came to my mind after seeing her was, "Is she copying Song Ji-A?" Because when Ji-A arrived on Inferno, she also dressed like a doll, she wore some expensive outfits, and her hair was curled like that, plus her eyes are also the same as Ji-A. Every time I saw her on each episode, some of the outfits she wore were the same as Jia's.
Anyway, I admit that she is pretty. But I also sensed that she was a scary person because not all people who have an angelic face show their true personalities. Every time she gets interviewed about her opinion, it makes me think she's weird.
But! There is also a thing that I like about her when, in one episode, she shows that she is a mature person and knows her worth, which makes me feel shocked because I didn't know that she could do that.
The second female participant is Choi Hyeseon. My first impression when I saw her was that she was cute and maybe a kind of positive person in life. She laughed and smiled at small things, which I really like, and I also remembered Lee Nadine to her. I really like to have a friend like her. I wanted to talk to her so that she could pass on her positive energy to me every time I felt down.
But you know what? I believe that sometimes cute and energetic people are the scariest when you make fun of their feelings. Because I knew someone who has a cute personality turned into a beast when they got mad, they're so scary, like they are straight-forward. So what I am looking forward to at that time is when Hyeseon will get upset about something or some situation, to see if she is also the same as some bubbly people I know when she gets mad.
What I also admire about Hyeseon in season 3 of Single's Inferno is that she is true to herself and especially to her feelings. I admire her for not bragging about her other job as an influencer and model, unlike the other participants. I think some participants from Seasons 1–3 are just aiming for popularity and not a real date in real life because they gain some followers after the show, and some participants only promote themselves or their businesses. I am happy because, finally! I saw someone in the show who was showing her true self, and she is true to getting to know someone to be her lover in real life.
An Minyoung. The funny thing is that the first thing that I noticed was her chest. As a person who has a flat wall in front, I can't relate. I couldn't stop saying, "Hope all is blessed." But anyway, for me, she's pretty! I really like her eyes and checks.
I was really mad at her in the beginning because of her attitude. I already knew that she would act like that because, behind her smiles, Sorry but her eyebrows are bothering me. Hahaha
When I first saw Hajeong, I thought they could have a similarity with Hyeseon. Because she is always smiling and showing her small dimples. But when I knew her personality, I liked her more because she's funny and hillarous. And the way in which she flirts with someone makes me laugh a lot every time she shows that in each episode.
Anyway, this season, Hajeong is one of the best participants that I enjoyed watching. I also want her to be one of the panelists on the next season!
Just like the host's reaction after seeing Yu Sieun, I saw her like Jennie Kim of Blackpink. She is pretty and cute at the same time, and the way she talks with her mouth is similar to that of Jennie, and I think she would be popular among men in Inferno because of that.
I think some of the episodes I watched about her on the show show that nothing's wrong with the way she acts; however, I think there is a battle inside of my mind because of her habit of communicating with other people, and that's good to show her real expression to someone or to learn how to hide it so that she won't hurt someone's feelings.
Okay, this girl was the last to be introduced. The first time that they showed her, all I could say was that she's pretty and soft because of the way she communicates with others. But then, later on, I changed my mind about liking her because of her personality.
What's worse is that she has all of the attributes that I despise in girls, and I'm sorry, but every time I see her, I can't help but dislike her because of her attitude.
She doesn't know how to respect others feelings, like how the other participants understood and respected her. She is also one of the reasons why my blood boils on Season 3 of the show.
Okay, now let's jump about my impressions and thoughts to the boys in Inferno! Oh my God! This is what I am excited about because, why not? I'm also single and looking forward to meeting some of the world's most attractive men. Charought!
Okay! Let's see whether this show features a guy who is my ideal type.
The first time I saw him, he was handsome, and I guessed that he was young. Then, when I watched him act toward other participants, he was kind of soft and cool, like how young boys act. I can't sense a strong and mature personality in him. And I noticed and know all of that about him because maybe we are the same age.
When it comes to looks, I don't think he's my ideal type, but his calm and gentle personality is what I like about men. I mean, I like the type of man who is quiet and calm, and that makes me interested in him.
One of the things that I like about men is Moreno. But sometimes, I am also into white. But I find a man more attractive when they have a darker skin type because I can see them more handsome.
While watching this man in the show, I loved watching him because of his sense of humor. I couldn't stop laughing, especially when he had conversations with Hajeong, and I think a man like this is one of the best to date since he can make his girlfriend happy. What I also like about him is that he cares for and shows respect for the girl he likes.
The first thing that came to mind when they showed him was that I think this man is a basketball player because of his haircut, and he is tall too. I also said that he was cute.
But nevermind. I changed my mind when I called him cute because, when I watched him on this show, all I got were wrinkles and stress. My godness! But I really like how he is true to his feelings, like when he joined Single's Inferno to meet women to date. In previous seasons, the guys just stuck to one or couldn't hide that they were just choosing beautiful and charismatic women.
But this man came to Single's Inferno because he wanted to be sure that he could choose the best woman whom he could date. He didn't join this show to play, and when I watched the episodes again last night, I already understood him. At least he made sure and clarified to the women he talked with that he is unsure of his feelings and that he is being open to them, so I don't think that he is playing with them because the show is open to meeting one person to another.
What just makes me disappointed in him is that he doesn't know how to respect women, and he is full of himself. But later on, he realized and admitted that it was his fault.
If you will ask me if I could date a man like him, No. Because I really don't like men who are unsure of their feelings. I don't like to be a toy. I don't know why the three girl participants are so attracted to him. He already showed her red flags, yet they're color blind. Lol
Wait! I couldn't believe that I said that. Even I, myself, became color blind to someone I liked. Like, he showed me the red flags, yet I'm still into him. Lol
Waaaa! I really like his small face. He is cute and handsome! Watching him on this show made me assume that he is in his 30s because of how he acts, and I was correct since he is a genius and looks mature. Maybe it's not obvious from his looks, but it was shown when he behaved.
But I feel him a little bit scary because on the episodes that I watch and observe him, I guess he is the type of man who locks his girlfriend like he is obsessed and doesn't want the other guys to get her.
I couldn't stop giggling when he arrived on the inferno because he's so adorable.
When I watched him on the show, I couldn't stop myself from laughing because of how he acts and behaves. He is just sitting beside the other participants and listening to other people talk about their opinions and thoughts. I think he is the type of person who likes to observe other people, and I am right! Because he sensed the other female participant was a liar. But when he is looking at the female participant he likes, he is showing his talkative side and showering her with compliments. So I am guessing that words of affirmation are his love language.
This man's first appearance made me in awe because he looks hot and handsome.
Wait!
I don't know, but among all the men who participated in this show, he is the one for me. Charought! He is the one I like the most because he is the greenest. Green flag because he can treat a woman gently, he has respect, and he is also loyal to someone he likes. He waited patiently and didn't force any girls to like him back.
But my throat suddenly pulled back when I found out about his job.
Who do I like the most?
When we talk about my ideal type, none of the men above had it. But I like a man who has a combination of Jinseok, Habin, and Minkyu.
But when we talk about my favorite in this season, I chose Hyeseon because she is very honest, she shows her true self, and I can't sense any plasticity in her, and even the other participants agree and like her more after filming Single's Inferno.
Things I learned from girls about how to flirt with or seduce men:
Gyuri is always holding her hair every time she is on a date with someone in Paradise. Sometimes it's natural for women with long hair to hold or comb their hair using their fingers when they're shy. I sometimes did that back then, when I was still a high school student. I have long, straight hair, and when I was with or saw my crush, I always combed my hair using my fingers.
For me, doing this makes me feel comfortable, especially when I talk with someone I meet for the first time.
What made me laugh so hard this season is Hajeong's sign or way of flirting with men in Inferno. The way she looks or flirts seductively like this made me laugh. I'm not sure, but this is either scary or funny to me.
Every time I see her do this while talking, I feel pain in her neck. I'm not sure if I can do this while talking on a date. I have terrible bones. I can't even endure my back pain as a sign of aging. Lol
In this third season of Single's Inferno, I enjoyed it a lot. It's very different from the two previous seasons last year. I really enjoyed it because of Gwanhee, Hajeong, and Jinseok; they make this season more interesting and fun.
Another reason why I enjoyed this show's third season was because they added another panelist from the previous season, which is Dex. I like how he conveys his expressions and thoughts about the situation as a man, and the panelists always heard his opinion too. I also like him being extra and making the show not boring.
I think he is only the Season 2 participant who made his debut as a host and gets a lot of promotion in the Korean industry.
And because I enjoyed it! I am waiting for Hajeong to appear in the next season as one of the panelists because of how she acts in this season and because a lot of viewers enjoyed her humor. I hope she can work with Dex too.
Anyway, I already said all my thoughts after watching Single's Inferno 3, and I hope you enjoyed reading this blog.
