Reseña - Serie The Boys "Análisis perspectivo" // Review - The Boys Series "Perspective analysis".

Toda mi vida he disfrutado de series y películas basadas en Superhéroes, dónde nos fue vendida la imagen de ser personas con una fuerte moral y sentido del honor para hacer el bien y ayudar a los necesitados, aun a costa de sus propias vidas y seres amados, haciendo gala a esa célebre frase “Un gran poder, conlleva una gran responsabilidad”.

All my life I have enjoyed series and movies based on Superheroes, where we were sold the image of being people with a strong moral and sense of honor to do good and help those in need, even at the cost of their own lives and loved ones, displaying that famous phrase "With great power comes great responsibility".

Todo esto quizás, porque a los creadores y productores, siempre les pareció difícil vender al público la idea de Superhéroes con personalidades contrarias del tipo egocéntricas, corruptas y con una moralidad cuestionable, ya que tal vez consideraban que no tendría ninguna lógica tratar de escalar Super Héroes que estuvieran haciendo destrozos por el mundo, sin ningún tipo de control.

Un tema que solamente se habían atrevido a tocar en historietas y comic, ya que allí el público es más fanático de este tipo de ficcion, pero que solo en programas de televisión y cine, solo se habían Sido implementado de manera muy, pero muy superficial, siendo un ejemplo de esto, las escenas de Capitán América: Civil War, dónde vemos que por un error de Wanda Maximoff “La Bruja Escarlata”, muere un gran grupo de Civiles a causa del intento fallido de esta por evitar el mayor daño posible de una explosión, en cuyo caso fue precisamente por error involuntario y así no los hace entender la secuencia de acción, algo que hace unos pocos años cambio y de lo cual no se esperaba tuviera una gran aceptación por parte del publico con la serie “The Boys”.

Toda esta perspectiva de Superhéroes que hacen el bien para todos, por encima de sus propios intereses, cambió cuando fue estrenada “The Boys” una serie de televisión creada por Eric Kripke, basada en el cómic de Garth Ennis y Darick Robertson, dónde la trama se desarrolla en un mundo donde esos seres dotados, son celebridades adoradas por la sociedad aunque realmente solo se dediquen a velar por sus propios intereses, ya que todo lo que hacen es manipulado por una Corporación Multimillonaria, para ofrecer esa supuesta imagen de Superhéroes salvadores del mundo.

A diferencia de los otros universos conocidos de Superhéroes a los que siempre nos han tenido acostumbrados, está serie evita retratar a los mismos como seres heroicos y moralmente rectos, presentándose en cambio como individuos egoístas, violentos y moralmente ambiguos, sin mencionar los diferentes trastornos mentales y psicosociales que sufren algunos de estos personajes, que los conlleva a abusar de su poder sin medir consecuencias, en otras palabras, nos presenta a unos Superhéroes imperfectos y abusivos, que solo son un fachada de protectores del mundo.

Unlike the other known universes of Superheroes to which we have always been accustomed, this series avoids portraying them as heroic and morally upright beings, presenting them instead as selfish, violent and morally ambiguous individuals, not to mention the various mental and psychosocial disorders suffered by some of these characters, which leads them to abuse their power without measuring consequences, in other words, it presents us with imperfect and abusive Superheroes, who are only a facade of protectors of the world.

Es que cuando nosotros, el público televidente siempre que tenemos el mismo tipo de historia y trama, simplemente terminamos aburriendonos y cualquier tipo de historia que nos ofrezca una perspectiva diferente, fácilmente termina siendo un éxito rotundo y acabando por obtener muchos ingresos, tal cual como resultó con algunas peliculas como por ejemplo “Maléfica” y “Dracula: la historia jamas contada”, por solo mencionar a algunas, que se atrevieron a dar un giro al punto de vista del publico, pero que era algo que no se habia empleado con personajes de Superhéroes, los productores lo entendieron así y ese fue el resultado.

It is that when we, the viewing public always have the same type of story and plot, we simply end up getting bored and any type of story that offers us a different perspective, easily ends up being a resounding success and ending up getting a lot of revenue, as it turned out with some movies such as "Maleficent" and "Dracula: The Never Told Story", just to mention a few, which dared to give a twist to the point of view of the public, but that was something that had not been used with Superhero characters, the producers understood it and that was the result.

La serie “The Boys" nos ofrece valiosas lecciones sobre la naturaleza humana, criticando la cultura de la fama y la idolatría, cuestionamiento de la moralidad, nos hace reflexionar como el poder puede corromper a las personas, llevándolas a cometer actos inimaginables y nos hace entender que para luchar por hacer justicia y exponer la verdad, no es necesario contar con Súper habilidades, siendo una clara invitación a reflexionar sobre nuestras propias acciones y la sociedad en la que vivimos.

En definitiva, The Boys se ha convertido en una de las series más interesantes y originales del panorama televisivo actual, demostrando que todavía hay espacio para la creatividad y la innovación, en cuanto a superhéroes se trata y además de ello, cuenta con un talentoso elenco de actores y con un enfoque cinematográfico impecable, que la hacen digna de disfrutarla. Para todos aquellos que aún no hayan disfrutado de esta excelente serie de televisión y que disfruten del género de Superhéroes, le recomiendo que la vean, pues capítulo tras capítulo, desearan ver más y empatizaran con la causa del grupo que quiere acabar y eliminar la existencia de estos Súper.

For all those who have not yet enjoyed this excellent television series and who enjoy the genre of Superheroes, I recommend you watch it, because chapter after chapter, you will want to see more and empathize with the cause of the group that wants to end and eliminate the existence of these Super.
