Alcanzar sueños de enormes trascendencias, conlleva enormes sacrificios, esfuerzo, práctica, dolor, estrés, perdidas y Andrew Neiman está decidido a sobrepasar todas estas circunstancias para convertirse en el mejor y cumplir con su propósito de obtener un legado. Whiplash, ha sido estrenada el 16 de enero del 2014, pasaron 9 años desde aquel momento, pero, sigue siendo una película muy profunda, con mucho arte y de enorme entretenimiento.

Al comienzo de la producción, podemos darnos cuenta de la rigurosidad del profesor Terrence Fletcher, cuando hay una escena que deja expuesto a un alumno, aunque el joven a quien estuvo reclamando no había tenido la culpa de absolutamente nada. ¿Por qué lo hizo? Simplemente, no quería hombres débiles en su clase, la parte psicológica y mental juega un papel importante en toda la película. Andrew Neiman, rápidamente se dio cuenta de que no tendría un camino sencillo.
Terrence Fletcher, instantáneamente, supo que había un talento especial en Andrew Neiman, pero eso no basta para alcanzar la meta de ser grande, debes desarrollar una mentalidad fuerte y en eso debía trabajar el profesor. En las primeras clases de Andrew, recibió una gran humillación frente a todos los compañeros, Terrence Fletcher, no dudo en provocarlo, exigirlo hasta un límite que nunca había estado Neiman y lo dejo muy mal parado frente a los colegas.
Todas estas acciones en una persona débil, pueden hacer que desista, no quiera intentarlo más o que termine abandonando la carrera. Andrew Neiman, se marchaba a su casa a entrenar y a seguir las palabras de su profesor -sigue esforzándote. En el deporte, trabajo o cualquier situación, debes colocar una gran cantidad de esfuerzo y disciplina para tener un rendimiento de élite. Andrew Neiman, si mantenía esos pasos, iba a poder alcanzar la meta y Terrence Fletcher, no se iba a detener hasta conseguir ese fuego en su alumno.

Otra vez, nos dirigimos hacia el sacrificio, saber que es lo que más importa para tu vida, que puede traerte más beneficios y llevarte hacia tu meta soñada. Recuerda, la preparación te quita tiempo, la mente enfocada no piensa en personas, Andrew Neiman, solo estaba con la visión colocada en la música y no podía permitirse distracciones.

La relación entre el alumno y profesor se convierte en odio. Nada que no se esperaba. Pero, Andrew Neiman, busca a Terrenche Fletcher y entablan una gran conversación al final de la película. ¡Brillante! Le explica las razones de porque es tan fuerte con sus alumnos y porque está en busca de la excelencia. Profesores como Terrence Fletcher, realmente, son muy valiosos, son aquellos que están dispuestos a perder su trabajo, por buscar el mejor alumno posible.
Esta película es una obra de arte, ostenta muchos mensajes profundos y nos habla de lo fuerte que puede ser lograr nuestras metas. We end with Andrew Neiman, performing a mystical piece, illustrating his enormous potential and showing the world that he is ready to be the best of his era. Absolutely recommended.

Vi esta película y me gustó muchísimo. La tuve como ejemplo de foco y sacrificio para alcanzar nuestras metas. Pero luego algún tiempo después vi una crítica a esta película de parte de un baterista que es profesor también, y el dice que esa forma de enseñar ha cambiado sobre todo porque nunca debemos comprometer nuestra paz metal por un objetivo, y que él como profesor tampoco cree que así se transmite la pasión y el amor por el arte.
Me hizo reflexionar mucho y pienso que es cierto. Solo cuando estamos en el amor por lo que hacemos, somos más creativos y felices. Es importante sobre todo porque la salud mental y muchas personas toman decisiones locas cuando no logran sus objetivos.
Claro que hay que esforzarse, comprometerse y hacer nuestra parte para que las cosas pasen, pero no al precio de nuestra salud mental y autoestima.
De todos modos sigo amando esta película y tu publicación estuvo genial 👍
Siempre me gusta quedarme con una frase de las películas que me gustan, y de esta me gustó mucho: "No hay dos palabras que sean más dañinas en nuestro idioma que buen trabajo", porque se refiere a no conformarnos
Pero también tiene una que odiaré por siempre: "Si no tienes habilidad acabas tocando rock"... esta frase está totalmente errada y habla de lo equivocado que estaba ese profesor.

Buenas tardes amiga @viviana.fitness tu profesor tiene razón, también soy de los que piensan que llegar al extremo tampoco es sano, muy pocos estan dispuesto a llegar a ese punto. Los genios que han alcanzado un hito tan grande, para mí, tienen alguna sicópata mental, porque no es normal ejercer tanto y tanto sacrificio.
Pero, me gusta, la verdad me gusta que traten de exigir a uno lo máximo de nuestras capacidades. Hay un punto dónde la decisión forma parte de la persona, si desea seguir estirando la brecha o si ya está en un punto de no continuar con lo extremo.
La película es increíble, me encanta mucho, tiene demasiado aprendizaje y mensajes de gran contundencia. Igualmente, bendiciones para ti y que te vaya muy bien hoy. Saludos
Esta película me encanta, nada más recordarla ya siento la presión y los nervios de revivir el estrés por el que tenía que pasar el protagonista. Una peli que he visto en varias oportunidades y, tal como dices, a pesar de que pasen los años sigue siendo intensamente buena.
A mí el protagonista me parecía un actor muy regular hasta que lo vi en este papel, me pareció magnifico y logró transmitirme muchísimo. El mundo de la música es tan duro como muchos otros de competición, esa semejanzas que mencionas con los deportes por ejemplo, mucho sacrificio y demasiadas injusticias.
También pensaba lo mismo del actor, pero esta interpretación le quedó fabulosa, su rostro y sus expresiones están perfectas con lo que se deseaba transmitir. Es una película que nunca va a morir, tiene mucho arte dentro de ella, desde el profesor a todo lo que ocurre, todo tiene un porque y un sentido.
Y si el mundo de la música de igual forma requiere mucho sacrificio, esfuerzo y es de gran valor. Saludos amiga.

made me want to watch this movie again. I really liked Whiplash when I first saw it, the road to becoming the best drummer will be one of suffering and blood, literally. This movie could not be made today, wow, how society has devolved in 10 years. I say involuted, because if this fim was made and released today, many would come out to cancel the movie, saying that the professor is a tyrant, abusing his power, symbol of abusive patriarchy and all that nonsense. Totally agree, you have mentioned exactly what would happen. Perhaps, today the movie would have ended, when the teacher is suspended and it would have been all on the victimizer. The vision of that time is correct, then they meet again and it becomes clear what a strong man is. This production is one to watch many times.

Excelente recomendación está película la he visto dos veces en familia, tiene muchos aprendizajes, de los que hay que tener en cuenta, y de lo que hay que evaluar y entender que las épocas cambian y la forma de enseñar también, sobre todo si nos afectan a nivel emocional y cobran caro.

I watched it all without taking a breath!
In fact what is told in the film is the only way to be able to conquer one's dreams.
Believe and fight! This drummer (because now we are talking about the character and not the actor) shows all of us, how things are conquered: with blood in the hands, with the power of sacrifice!
Truly, this film is a warning to the youth of today!
All in all, sweat falling, blood running down our fingers, super necessary to conquer our dreams. Lately, it has been sold a lot to want to get everything easy, to create weak men and that is the worst thing that a society can have. Sabes que una película viene con una gran trama y la cantidad justa de detalles "sin resolver" cuando hasta el día de hoy se sigue discutiendo de todo lo que conlleva la relación entre Fletcher y Neiman hasta el momento final donde termina exactamente con el pico de lo que se llevaba buscando en toda la película...dejando a completa imaginación que es lo que podría haber sucedido después de eso.
La actuación desplegada aquí es lo que le dejó esa guinda del pastel que es la historia que vemos aquí, y es genial ver gente recordando sus propias experiencias con esta película.
La verdad es que yo estoy a favor de la relación, me parece que sacaron lo mejor de cada uno. Claro, fueron al extremo, pero sin eso, Neiman no hubiera conseguido ese pico de evolución que llegó a obtener.
Las actuaciones son brutales, los planos de imágenes, absolutamente todo está genial en esta producción. Realmente, muy buena. Saludos amigo.
